  Pros

  I tried the Sekkisei toner for the first time and I'm absolutely thrilled! It's perfect for my dry skin that needs hydration. After applying, my skin feels so moisturized. I used to think toners were just for refining skin texture, but Sekkisei goes beyond that, providing deep hydration and leaving my skin plump. The packaging with its transparent logo is beautiful too, making each use a delightful experience.

  Cons

  There's hardly anything to complain about! I just wish they'd come out with a larger size version.

  Tip

  For maximum hydration, I recommend applying the Sekkisei toner generously right after cleansing. It works great in combination with the Sekkisei emulsion too.

  Pros

  It's incredibly hydrating. I bought it because it's supposed to be gentle. It's great for absorbing excess oil too!

  Cons

  Unfortunately, it causes blemishes on my skin. I tested it twice just to be sure, and small red bumps appear. It's such a shame because I really like it otherwise.

  Pros

  The texture is water-like, making it perfect to use as a toner! It's low in oil, so it's great for oily or combination dehydrated skin. I've tried both the Docto and Hupto versions, and they both left my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. What I especially love is using it as a skin pack before makeup - just soak 1/3 of a cotton pad and apply it to your face. It makes your makeup go on so smoothly, I highly recommend it!

  Here's my review after using it religiously morning and night✨ Texture: It's a watery formula but with a slight viscosity Experience: I expected it to be completely lightweight due to its fluid nature, but I was surprised by how hydrating and moisturizing it felt! On hot days, applying it 2-3 times is enough to skip serum or ampoule (I have combination dehydrated skin) / It leaves your skin feeling soft with a noticeable boost in hydration!! Scent: No particularly strong fragrance Recently my skin has been feeling hot and sensitive, but this caused no irritation at all. I love that it's gentle yet provides definite hydration.

  Cons

  The packaging was a bit disappointing, maybe because I'm not a fan of twist-open types? Though its minimalist design does look neat on the vanity. The price point is also a bit of a drawback.

  Tip

  For those with oily skin, this toner is so good that applying it 2-3 times might allow you to skip the serum step!

  First off, I'm grateful for the opportunity to try this product through the event! What I liked was that while it's not heavy, it provides great hydration, which is fantastic.   I used this alongside the Zeroid Soothing Cream. Despite having extremely sensitive and dry skin, I experienced no irritation at all, and it was surprisingly hydrating! It didn't just provide moisture, but also offered a great balance of oil and hydration. The oil-moisture balance was perfect for summer use. For winter, I think applying two layers would suffice. As someone who prefers fragrance-free products, I appreciated that this had no scent! The packaging, while very simple in design to maximize recyclability, was not inconvenient at all. I hope more brands adopt such environmentally conscious packaging.

  Cons

  While it's gentle, it does contain alcohol derivatives, so those with sensitive skin should use it cautiously. I'm not sensitive to alcohol-based ingredients, so I was able to use it without issues.

  Tip

  Due to its high hydration content, I typically apply four layers and then use a modeling mask. It's better for skin care than any other mask I've tried!

  Due to atopic dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis, I can't apply just anything on my skin. I was lucky to win this product after carefully checking its ingredients as a Hwahae Tester! I was thrilled by the generous size when it arrived. My husband and I applied it right after washing our faces. It's so gentle - no fragrance and no irritation. It feels so comfortable and hydrating that it's all my husband with perfect skin needs for his summer skincare routine! For me, I just need to add a light moisturizer. I'm extremely satisfied, especially with the large size. I'll definitely be back to purchase more when I run out!

  First off, I'm already using Seikissei sunscreen and it suits my skin well, so I decided to apply for The Hwahae Testers! The packaging is sleek, and I like that it's fragrance-free without any unnecessary ingredients. It seemed perfect to use as an exfoliating toner skin pack. The texture has a slight viscosity, not quite as watery as a typical toner. It contains moisturizing ingredients with a hint of richness that helps lock in hydration. Sometimes products with a moisturizing film make me feel like my pores are clogged, but this one didn't give me that sensation. When my skin is particularly dry, I think it would be great to layer it 2-3 times or use it as a mist alternative!

  Cons

  Since it's a moisturizing essence toner, it might not suit all skin types. The price point is a bit high, and it's still difficult to find in offline stores, which is a bit disappointing.
