At first, I was surprised by how thin it was, but it's perfect for on-the-go application! Only 2-3 strands of hair stick to it, which is ideal for someone like me who hates sticky products. It's not too matte, so it doesn't interfere with makeup application. It paired wonderfully with my cushion foundation (based on my experience with the Clio Founwear Cushion)!
ConsThe puff is a bit thin, which made application slightly inconvenient. I suppose it's due to the slim packaging, but the puff's performance was somewhat disappointing.
TipIf you have dry skin like me, make sure to prep your skin thoroughly! The semi-matte formula felt a bit tight when I only applied toner, emulsion, and serum. However, when I added a moisturizer, I didn't experience any tightness at all!

The product's greatest strength lies in its fresh finish and non-suffocating formula. The scent is somewhat strong - not unpleasant, but definitely noticeable throughout use. Application & Hydration As a mineral sunscreen, it felt slightly drying on my combination-leaning-dry skin. However, with a solid skincare routine underneath, it worked well. The best part is how easy it is to touch up and reapply sunscreen over it. Just be mindful of the amount you use, as it can pill if overapplied.
ConsThe packaging and puff are slightly disappointing. The case feels more portable than sturdy, which actually makes it convenient for touch-ups on-the-go. However, the puff feels a bit stiff and doesn't seem to complement the product's texture well.
TipI found the application improved when using a soft, porous puff. It also works quite well when applied before makeup. Its quick-absorbing nature makes it great for a foundation-free look, making it suitable for daily use.

I always apply sunscreen, even in fall and winter. This sun cushion spreads thinly, so even with full makeup, your skin doesn't feel suffocated. ❤️ Gentle and lightweight - recommended for all ages and genders My skin has been sensitive lately due to the dry, chilly weather, but this product is so gentle. It doesn't aggravate blemishes when applied over them.
Cons🤔 The puff could be better Dust tends to stick to the puff easily, so I've been using disposable puffs instead. 🤔 The scent is a bit strong Children who are sensitive to cosmetic smells might find the fragrance a bit intense.

Nevertheless, I gave it a thorough try! * The fragrance is a subtle floral scent, not overpowering but pleasantly mild. However, those sensitive to smells might not appreciate it. * As someone with dry skin, I felt a slight dryness after application. The included puff felt a bit stiff, so I switched to a different one which worked better. This would be perfect for summer when skin is less dry. Overall application was fine, with a slight white cast that fades naturally over time. It has a brightening effect that gives a radiant look before makeup application. * Being a vegan product with safe ingredients, I've been using it with my child. Neither of us experienced any blemishes. Unlike traditional sunscreens that require hand application, this product's puff applicator makes it more hygienic and convenient to use.
Cons* The case and puff feel somewhat flimsy. Using a different puff at home resulted in better application and adherence to the skin. It seems like the puff might need to be replaced with a better quality one...
Tip* I recommend using a different puff for application. For those with dry skin, apply a generous amount of moisturizer before using this product to prevent dryness. To avoid a white cast, apply small amounts evenly across the skin rather than a large amount all at once.

The scent wasn't too strong, which was nice. • Brightening effect: I usually use sunscreens with brightening effects instead of foundation. This product also has a brightening effect and some white cast, but when applied, it instantly brightens the complexion without any yellow undertones, which I loved. • Texture: It feels moisturizing when first applied and doesn't leave a sticky finish, which is great. However, since I have dry skin, while it's hydrating enough for summer, it might be a bit drying for winter use. • It's convenient and nice to reapply throughout the day as a sun cushion.
ConsThe product came wrapped in paper packaging without a small protective box, so the outer part of the sun cushion had some dust-like particles on it. It would have been better if it came in a box packaging. I felt that the built-in puff didn't absorb the sun cushion very well. A slightly more dense puff would probably help it absorb into the skin better.
TipFor those with dry skin, if you apply this sun cushion after thoroughly moisturizing, the hydration will last longer. After applying makeup to your face, if you use this sun cushion on your neck without separate makeup, it naturally brightens and evens out your skin tone, seamlessly connecting your face and neck complexion.

No eye irritation As someone who always tries to apply sunscreen, I've tried various products. Usually, after 1-3 hours of wear, my eyes would start stinging. But with this one, there's absolutely no eye irritation! I can make it through the workday without using artificial tears. That's a win! 2. No blemishes Even with products claiming to be gentle or mild, I'd usually end up with small bumps by the end of the workday after applying sunscreen. But with this one, I'm using it without any blemishes appearing. As expected from a vegan product, it's less irritating and has good ingredients, making it gentle on the skin! 3. Great portability It can be a hassle to carry sunscreen around all the time, but this compact form makes it easy to take with you. The case is also adorably pink! 4. The puff Honestly, the puff is both a pro and a con... The puff itself is nice and firm, but it's not ideal for spreading this product. However, I've put it in the pros because its firmness makes it great for patting the product in! 5. Natural brightening It's great that it brightens my complexion when I'm just wearing sunscreen to work. But remember, moderation is key - you don't want your face to look disconnected from your body!
Cons1. Pilling If you don't pat it in with the puff, it absorbs slowly. (The puff doesn't work well with this product, making it difficult to apply) If you try to spread it, it pills and peels off! So while it's fine when you're just wearing sunscreen, it's not suitable for applying makeup over it. 2. Color It would be nice if it came in a pink tone too! For people with slightly darker skin, even a light application might create a noticeable difference between face and neck.

As you can see in the photo, the case is incredibly slim, even compared to the puff! It's ideal for carrying around, and you can reapply all day without any pilling. It's perfect for those who like to slightly even out their skin tone with a base. I never use pink-toned brightening moisturizers because of my redness, but this one brightens without any redness, which I love! Since I usually only wear sunscreen, I highly recommend this for a foundation-free look or for touch-ups.
ConsTo be honest, I prefer the puff I was using before (the Olive Young Pang Pang puff). But this is really a matter of personal preference, so I'm not deducting any points for it!

Currently, due to the weather, my T-zone is quite oily while my cheeks can get so dry they crack by afternoon if I don't carefully apply skincare products in the morning. Advantages: 1. Convenience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The biggest advantage of a sun cushion! You can apply it anytime, anywhere, and reapply as needed. 2. Non-sticky finish ⭐️⭐️ There's absolutely no stickiness, which is one of the main reasons people avoid sunscreen. Those who dislike the sticky feeling or worry about makeup not adhering well can use this without any discomfort. 3. Ingredients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have sensitive skin, and it doesn't cause any blemishes even during that special time of the month, proving its gentle formulation. 4. No eye irritation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I've had LASEK surgery, so I'm sensitive to eye-irritating cosmetics, but this doesn't sting my eyes at all. 5. Natural brightening effect ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Instead of leaving a white cast, it naturally brightens the complexion by one shade, giving a beautiful filtered look. When I don't feel like doing a full face of makeup, I just apply this and lightly fill in my brows for a pretty, natural look. Just remember to control the amount! 6. Scent ⭐️⭐️⭐️ It has a baby powder scent, which I personally like. Unless you're very sensitive to fragrances, it shouldn't be polarizing.
ConsThere are no drawbacks to the sunscreen itself. 1. Puff The puff seems to release the product rather than absorb it. 2. Price Sun cushions generally feel expensive for the amount you get, and this product is no exception. 3. Case This is purely personal preference, but if I had to pick something, the case design is a bit disappointing. It looks like something from a Barbie playset.
TipAmount control: If you apply too much, your face might look unnaturally pale. With the right amount, it naturally brightens and evens skin tone. For dry skin types: If you have dry skin, make sure to apply your skincare products thoroughly to prevent the sunscreen from emphasizing dead skin cells.

I try to write only facts in as much detail as possible. 2. I aim to use products for at least a week before writing reviews. 3. I include not just skin condition, but also the situation and environment at the time. My skin type: 1. I suspect I have combination dehydrated skin with a neutral base and slight deep dryness. I've never had a professional skin analysis and don't pay much attention to my skin, so I'm not sure of my exact skin type. However, I sometimes feel tightness depending on the weather and season, and while I don't think I have acne, I'm concerned about the rough, bumpy texture on my face. Currently, my biggest skin concern is how to get rid of the persistent acne around my forehead hairline. Why does it keep coming back even when I pop them? 2. My skin changes with the seasons. Spring/fall bring dead skin cells and acne parties, summer causes oil overload, and winter turns my skin into a moisture-less desert. Flaky white patches are a bonus. 3. I wish someone would invent pore-shrinking technology. I feel like I can see deep into my pores without a microscope. Daily skincare routine: Cleansing foam/oil → Toner → Essence/Ampoule → Moisturizer For daily use, I use cleansing foam, and on more attentive days, I use oil cleanser for a thorough cleanse. I apply toner 3 times for hydration, and use essences/ampoules mainly for brightening and firming effects, choosing based on my mood. Lastly, I apply moisturizer if my skin feels tight or if I want a matte finish, usually opting for hydrating products that address deep dryness and form a protective barrier. My biggest wish in skincare is finding an all-in-one product. Why do I keep collecting toners? Consumption habits: From a skincare nomad to a cynic who believes there's no holy grail. I think good products come out every year with improved formulation techniques and ingredient extraction methods. Plus, my spending habits change with my budget, so I've decided there's no holy grail and I should just buy what's cost-effective at the time. Rating system: ★★★☆☆: Products that might be skin type-dependent. Products with mixed reviews within the family. ★★★★☆: Products suitable for all skin types. Easy to recommend to others. Would repurchase if I had nothing else. ★★★★★: Products I truly loved when I used them. Will repurchase unless a better value option comes along. → This is a review written by an imperfect human. I hope it can be of some help in choosing products! → Used daily from 10/18 to 10/23, excluding Saturday and Sunday. Delivery: Safely delivered with paper cushioning. It's my first time seeing a Hwahae Testers letter inside, along with the usual product introduction. They really paid attention to detail :) Tone-up effect: Provides a natural tone-up. Might suit cool-toned individuals better than warm-toned ones. Would be perfect for those with already good skin. Coverage: Low coverage. Good for daily 'no-makeup makeup' looks. Trying to build up coverage isn't a great idea... Compatibility with skincare: Like most cushions, it works much better with a good skincare base. Absorbs well after a matte cream rather than gel or very hydrating creams. Hydration: As a combination dehydrated skin type in winter, I use hydrating ampoules, so I didn't feel particularly dry. Still, make sure to address deep dryness before applying. Touch-ups: When touching up at lunchtime, oily areas became a bit shiny. Blot with oil-absorbing sheets before touch-ups for a fresh, non-cakey finish. Blemishes: Perhaps due to the good ingredients, I experienced no blemishes while using this product. Even when I cleansed twice with foam instead of oil, I woke up without any new blemishes, suggesting it washes off well. Scent: Has a typical cosmetic scent with a slight floral note. As someone not sensitive to fragrances, it didn't feel too strong to me.
ConsPuff: The puff doesn't seem to match the set... It's either too thin or doesn't spread the product well. Even when patting evenly, it doesn't blend well, so I gently applied it with a brush which seemed to work better. (Is it fair to compare a brush with a puff...?) Amount: Even though I don't think I used that much, the amount... Please sell refills too!
TipNo particular tips, but it's so thin and light, making it very convenient to carry around. Plus, it's so pretty and pink that my middle school niece really coveted it.

I used to be that person who'd say 'Nope, not wearing sunscreen!' in summer, finding it bothersome. But this summer, I learned my lesson the hard way. Especially when doing my makeup, adding sunscreen under foundation felt heavy, so I often skipped it, relying on the SPF in my foundation. That's when the 'Elsole Moisturizing Mild Sun Cushion' appeared like a comet in my life! Let me share the top three things I loved about it: 1. No excessive white cast Usually, mineral sunscreens turn you ghostly white. This one does have some white cast, but it blends into your natural complexion over time! Just don't overdo it, or you might end up looking like you're in a Kabuki performance... 2. Convenience Applying sunscreen with your hands can leave residue on your fingers or make it sit oddly on your face. Been there, done that... This sun cushion comes with a built-in mirror and puff, just like a foundation cushion. No mess on your hands, and the puff application prevents any patchiness! Even during this tricky seasonal change when everything seems to sit weirdly on the skin, this cushion applied smoothly. 3. Non-sticky and doesn't cause blemishes I have the worst combination dehydrated skin... Dry in winter, yet somehow still oily. It's a mystery even to me! Usually, anything slightly rich causes breakouts by clogging my pores. But this sun cushion is hydrating for dry skin without feeling heavy or greasy - a win-win! During exam season when I couldn't be bothered with a full face, this alone was enough as a base. Plus, it's certified vegan in the UK, which explains why it's so gentle. There were times I was too exhausted to remove it (oops), and usually that leads to pimples or redness on my cheeks, but not with this! (Remember though, sunscreen is still skincare, so always cleanse properly, everyone!)
ConsThe puff attracts dust too easily Even right after cleansing and skincare, the puff quickly collected dust - maybe from the air? Repeatedly using this dusty puff to apply the product means transferring that dust into the cushion itself, which isn't great. Also, the new puff smell was really off-putting... I had to air it out before using to get rid of the scent.
TipSun cushion + Green base (only if you have a lot of redness!) + Powder compact I recommend this combo for those who dislike or find foundation heavy, but still want a healthy glow and natural bare-faced look.
