Skin type: Combination dehydrated, Combination, Sensitive Usage period: About 1-2 months Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent Texture: Oily balm type, spreads easily on face and feels smooth Why I recommend it: I stumbled upon a recommendation video on YouTube and bought it out of curiosity. Now I'm writing this review because I really want to recommend it. Usually, cleansing oils/balms require rinsing with water after emulsification, and it takes quite a while to wash off the slippery feeling of the oil. However, with this product, you can feel it rinsing off easily. It's also amazing at removing whiteheads and blackheads. To be honest, I tend to do a lot of rolling despite knowing it might irritate my skin because of those sebaceous filaments, but this doesn't cause any irritation. It emulsifies really well, and you can truly feel how effective the cleansing is without any irritation - I think it's the best cleansing product out there. I've finally found a product I'll use for life, and I want to promote it so it doesn't get discontinued. If you're struggling with cleansing, please give this a try! I highly recommend it for those with oily, combination dehydrated, combination, and super sensitive skin. There's nothing bad to say. Please don't discontinue this product. And please don't reformulate it (this is important). - re******Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 5, 2025
Removes makeup thoroughly without irritation Even removes mascara effectively The texture is firm yet melts easily, making it comfortable to use and doesn't run like cleansing oils Personally, I found cleansing tissues too harsh, so I preferred cleansing oils. However, they were inconvenient to portion out for travel. Cleansing balms, on the other hand, won't leak and are simple to carry around Seems to require double cleansing more than cleansing oils do - cg********Oily SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025
It removes makeup well and somehow feels... great! This is my first time using a cleansing balm, so I'm not entirely sure, but it seems pretty good? I'm not sure if it's because of allergy season, but even though I generally have good skin, after using this for about a week and a half, I noticed some small bumps appearing. The cleansing effectiveness is impressive, and there's a pleasant sensation when using it. As for the blemishes that appeared later, it could be due to seasonal allergies or a potential allergic reaction to the product. If you have super sensitive skin, it might be worth monitoring how your complexion responds over time. - is***Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMay 28, 2025
It melts like butter on your skin! I only used this on my face after applying sunscreen, so I can't speak to its makeup cleansing power. My boyfriend and I bought this to use together, and it wreaked havoc on both our skin. I usually have pretty resilient skin, but I think the combination of AHA, BHA, and PHA ingredients was too intense. Everyone should use this with caution. The texture is described as buttery and smooth, which sounds luxurious. However, the reviewer warns about potential irritation from the active ingredients, especially for those with sensitive skin. It's a good reminder that even if a product works for many, it may not suit everyone's skin type. - b2******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I've used more than three bottles, and I find the cleansing effectiveness to be quite good. I plan to keep using it. The amount seems a bit small compared to the price, so it feels like I'm running out quickly. - pp********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 19, 2025
I have extremely sensitive skin, so when I use cleansing oil, I get little bumps on my skin. But when I try to remove my makeup with just cleansing, it still feels unsatisfactory. So I tried this product, and I really love it. I was worried that if the cleansing power was good, it might be too irritating, but it's not at all irritating. Instead, it completely removes blackheads and uneven texture, and my skin is in the best condition now. I've decided to stick with this cleansing product and bought another bottle. The amount is small compared to the price. Please increase the quantity, Mamonde!! - ey*******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 7, 2025
Unlike other cleansing balms I've used before, I love the clean finish this one provides, which is why I keep using it. While I use a separate remover for mascara, this balm effectively removes all other makeup without irritating my eyes. It doesn't seem to be as effective for managing blackheads as cleansing oils, so I take care of those separately. To use, I apply it, gently massage, then add water and roll it over my skin - it removes makeup well. I found I didn't really need to follow up with a cleansing foam. For heavier eye makeup, I do use a cotton swab to clean the base of my lashes. - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 3, 2025
It really pulls out those sebum plugs like nobody's business! I'm absolutely in love with how it cleans my pores! There are no downsides, seriously none at all. I'm telling you, there's nothing bad about it. I'll be using this for life! There's nothing more to add. Just use it and you'll see for yourself! - sh******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 26, 2025
I bought this because I heard it was effective for removing excess oil. To be honest, I didn't notice anything extraordinary, but I found it decent because it's good at removing makeup and doesn't dry out my skin too much. There aren't any major drawbacks, so it's just okay to use. It's pretty average. - so*********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 26, 2025
I don't usually use cleansing oils, but after hearing that you need oil-based products to remove sunscreen, I decided to try a cleansing balm for the first time! It does a great job of dissolving sebum, and I'm quite impressed with its cleansing effectiveness. I'm not sure about its ability to remove blackheads, though. After cleansing with the balm and following up with a cleansing foam, my skin definitely feels super soft! I experienced some blemishes when I first started using it, but it seems my skin has adapted, and I no longer have any issues. When first using this product, those with oily or super sensitive skin might experience some blemishes...! There's a bit of residue left if used alone, so you absolutely need to do a second cleanse, which can be a bit of a hassle. Apply the cleansing balm to a dry face, massage it in, then add water to emulsify and rinse off. Use the cleansing balm for your first cleanse, then follow up with a cleansing foam for your second cleanse!
