I've been using it like a spot sleeping mask. I always used to wake up with tightness around my mouth and cheekbones. I applied it to those areas every night, and while it still felt tight at first, I tried applying it more generously. To my surprise, the tightness completely disappeared, and my skin felt incredibly smooth. It was a game-changer!
ConsIt's a bit inconvenient that once you squeeze the product out, you have to manually push it back down. I noticed it leaks slightly every time I close it. Also, since it's in paper packaging, I feel like I need to use it up quickly, which is a bit disappointing.
TipApply it generously to areas that feel tight before sleeping, and you'll experience a whole new level of comfort.

I'm going to try it out for as long as possible and write a review up until the last day of the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program. In general, multi-balms tend to be quite oily and feel sticky, which I really dislike. The Comfortable Balm seems like the perfect product for me - it can be used in various ways while minimizing the aspects I don't like. I was a bit concerned about the paper packaging being inconvenient, but after some initial unfamiliarity, I got used to just pushing up the bottom to dispense the product. I mainly use it on my eyes and lips, and I just push it up and apply it directly. Now I find the plastic twist-up containers more inconvenient. I'd highly recommend this to anyone with dry, cracked lips throughout the seasons. It doesn't feel sticky at all, goes on lightly and smoothly, and deeply hydrates without a heavy, greasy feel. There's almost no slippage when applying lip color on top. The Comfortable Balm seems a bit thicker than other balms, but I don't find it overly heavy. It absorbs quickly, applies softly, and leaves no stickiness. There's a natural scent from the ingredients, which I don't find unpleasant at all. It doesn't feel like it's balling up or pilling. I like to apply a bit to my dry eye and lip areas before makeup, and it keeps them from getting dried out. I've had this for about 2 weeks now and still have a good amount left, so it seems to last a while. I'll definitely repurchase once I finish this one. The lack of stickiness is the biggest selling point - I even use it on my elbows and cuticles when they get too dry. I really dislike any heavy, greasy feeling in my body products, but the Comfortable Balm manages to be deeply hydrating without that tacky sensation. Just a subtle, healthy glow on the back of my hand, not at all oily. It doesn't have a heavy, greasy feel at all. I keep getting this impression that it's so gentle, yet the effects are so good. I've been using it with that constant sense of wonder. Oh, and the animals illustrated on the packaging are all endangered species! ㅠㅠ
ConsThere is really not a single complaint about the product itself. However, the size is slightly thicker and larger than a typical lip balm, and I wish they would come out with an even larger size. A wider, broader shape. I also use it on my body, and a larger size would be much more convenient to apply.

As someone with dry skin, I applied it nightly around my eyes and on my lips, and my makeup didn't flake the next day - it was fantastic! The packaging also perfectly complements its vegan nature, and I especially loved the paper-like texture. Now I'm curious about their other balms besides this convenient one!
ConsWhile I didn't experience any blemishes, it's not possible to go back once you've used it... You have to tap the bottom repeatedly to get the product out, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, I didn't notice any discomfort.
TipIf you apply toner and serum before makeup, followed by this balm, your makeup truly stays put all day without flaking. It seems like an essential item for winter!

But after cleansing, I applied the Monage Multi Balm and it kept my skin hydrated all night - I absolutely loved it! Even a small amount provides incredible hydration! It's fragrance-free, moisturizing, and non-sticky, which made it so comfortable to use. The small size makes it perfect to carry in my bag as a portable moisturizer! My lips and fingertips get extremely dry too, so I've been applying the Monage convenient balm to replenish moisture whenever needed.
ConsThe structure isn't twist-up, you have to push it up from the bottom, which requires some force control and can be a bit inconvenient. If you don't control the force well, it all comes up at once, making it difficult to put back in. The volume is quite modest, smaller than I expected. So it might run out quickly.
TipSince it's a push-up structure, don't force it all up at once. Carefully push up just a little bit to use it. Otherwise, you'll struggle to put it back in. It's great as a lip balm alternative! It's also super convenient and effective for applying to dry areas around the mouth or on rough patches on your hands.

I have extremely dry skin, so no matter how well I do my skincare routine, it always gets dry after a while. In winter, a multi-balm was essential for me. This one applies smoothly and doesn't seem too sensitive to temperature changes, which is great. It's not overly thick when applied, which I love. Most multi-balms I've tried before melt too easily with body heat, becoming excessively greasy and not absorbing well, leaving a surface layer. But the Comfortable Balm applies thinly. There's a slight oily feeling at first, but it absorbs quickly, leaving skin soft and supple. Other products felt like they were just putting oil on top of the skin, but this one feels like it's deeply hydrating. I'm extremely satisfied and using it happily.
ConsSince the case is made of paper, areas with friction tend to get smudged or worn down with use. Still, it feels good to be doing something for the environment, even if it's small. The paper case provides a great grip, but it's a bit disappointing to see it getting smudged. At first, I didn't know how to dispense the product, but after fiddling with it, I realized you need to press the bottom to make the contents come up. It's a really clever and fun idea. However, the problem is that it's quite inconvenient to push it back in. You can't use the cap to push it down, and using your hands feels unhygienic. If they could add a pull tab at the bottom, it would be amazing. I'm currently using a string attached with glue as a handle, which works well. If this aspect could be improved, it would be absolutely perfect.
TipWhen your makeup starts to separate, gently apply the Comfortable Balm following your skin texture. At first, it might look like your makeup is pilling or becoming more noticeable, but don't worry! It's not ruined. From that state, use a makeup sponge to pat and blend it in, and you'll achieve a truly flawless complexion. This is a real game-changer. Now, don't be upset when your makeup starts to separate while you're out. Just touch up with the Comfortable Balm!

At first, when I applied it to the back of my hand, I thought it might be greasy. But after patting it in, wow! The absorption was incredible! As someone who works outdoors, my cheeks often get cold, and when I return home, they're red and feel hot. My combination skin type changes frequently, making it quite tricky to manage. This vegan multi-balm became my go-to before applying sunscreen at work. After using it for 10 days, gently spreading it on and then applying my usual sunscreen compact, the results exceeded my expectations, especially after 9 PM! Despite being a nighttime balm, it wasn't oily at all. The absorption was so good that it felt completely lightweight. I even thought my skin might improve! I could apply it frequently without any issues, and most importantly, it was super convenient to carry around.
ConsThe only downside is that you need to use your fingertips to spread it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who dislikes paper-like scents. I'm still on the fence about using it right before bed.
TipAs someone who works outdoors, I found it particularly effective when used in combination with my sunscreen compact.

It felt comfortable to use before bed without any heaviness. When I woke up in the morning, I was really pleased with how well it moisturized - my dead skin cells were smoothed out nicely. I also loved that it's thicker than regular lip balm, which made application even better!
ConsIf I had to nitpick, I think it would have been even better if they had designed it to twist up, even though it's made of paper.
TipUse it by applying small amounts at a time!

This is my first time encountering a paper container, and it's so charming. Each product has a different illustration, which is fascinating. True to its name 'Comfort Balm', there's a soothing image that makes me feel at ease every time I take it out to apply. Scent: In line with the product name, it has a comfortable, fragrance-free formula with non-irritating ingredients. I could apply it anywhere without any issues! Texture: It has a typical hard balm texture! Its lightweight style allows for a fresh feeling when applied anywhere, providing adequate hydration without feeling heavy :) Moisturizing power: It has a light moisturizing effect that might not satisfy those who prefer a rich, heavy feel! It's great for daily use, but it does seem to evaporate quickly. When applied to the lips, it left me feeling a bit wanting.
ConsTraditional lip balm products often come in plastic containers, making them difficult to recycle. This paper container is eco-friendly, which is great. However, you can't adjust the height of the balm freely, so you need to push it back down with your fingers after use. As someone who likes things neat and tidy, I found this a bit uncomfortable at first. Now I've gotten used to it, so it's not a big issue anymore!

Rather than a deep moisturizing sensation, it's more like a light oil coating? I love how it instantly gives that oily glow after application. I found it comfortable to use as my lips didn't feel swollen the next morning. I appreciated that it's fragrance-free, making it less burdensome to use. * Packaging The unique paper case seemed a bit inconvenient at first, but I grew to like it once I got used to it. The case itself is also very pretty. The shape of the balm isn't flat but perfectly contoured to fit the lips, making application easy.
ConsThe case is both a pro and a con. Once you push the balm forward, you can't retract it. Also, you need to be careful when closing the lid to avoid touching the balm.
TipApply generously to your lips before bed for super soft lips the next morning!

Being a balm, I was worried it might cause blemishes, but I've never had any breakouts from it!
ConsWhen I first opened it, it seemed slightly hollowed out, so it only applied around the edges, which was inconvenient.
