  I kept it in my cart, mulling it over, and finally took the plunge! No regrets whatsoever. While the cooling effect isn't intense, it definitely has a soothing feel, and it works great as a brightening moisturizer too!

  Hello there! My skin type is dry, sensitive, and prone to atopic dermatitis. I'm extremely sensitive to irritation and also have redness issues. First off, this sun essence pact was refreshing and moisturizing to use without any irritation! When applying, there's a slight cooling sensation that feels nice and seems to help calm my skin. It also brightens the complexion, giving a soft, luminous effect that I really like. I've tried a few other sun cushions, but this product gives the most radiant look while providing a bit of coverage, which I'm really happy with.

  Cons

  The brightening effect was stronger than I expected, which surprised me a bit! I have a yellow undertone and use shade 21. When I first applied it under bright lighting, it looked really light, but after blending it down to my neck and adding some color makeup, it didn't look out of place. On days when my skin was in good condition, I just used this as a base for my makeup and was still satisfied. This isn't really a downside, but I'm mentioning it for your reference!

  Tip

  For those who find the brightening effect too intense, I'd recommend applying it under bright lighting to make it easier to control the amount. However, if you're looking for that beautiful brightening effect, this works great as a base for your makeup. I've attached before and after photos - you can see the difference in color between my face and neck after application.

  Real 'Caring' Sun Pact Before using it, I was skeptical about the claim that patting it on would soothe the skin. But after trying it myself, I understood. Perhaps due to the cica peptide and pine pycnogenol, I was amazed at how it calmed my skin when it became red and heated from sun exposure! Cooling Cica Water I was curious about how much it would lower skin temperature, and it was definitely cooling. This made it refreshing to use each time, and I found myself reaching for it often. Zinc 100% Mineral Sunscreen Being 100% mineral with zinc, it was incredibly gentle on the skin! I used to think mineral sunscreens made my skin feel suffocated, but this product changed my mind! It didn't cause blemishes or tiny bumps the next day, so I felt comfortable using it. Being low-irritation, my skin didn't react even when I cleansed late at night. Eco-friendly Packaging When I received the product, I noticed it was sealed with paper tape instead of regular box tape, and even the cushioning material was paper-based. It's a small detail, but it made me feel the company truly cares about the environment. Foundation-Free I have darker skin, so I was worried about a white cast making me look ashy. Contrary to my concerns, it naturally brightened my complexion, making me think I could use it without foundation. It's great for foundation-free use. Perfect for quick outings or when your skin needs a break from makeup. Design True to its cooling and cica focus, it comes in a mint color. I found the pattern inside quite sophisticated. The beautiful product design has even earned compliments from friends when I use it out, which always puts me in a good mood.

Glow: As it's an essence sunpact, it's moisturizing and gives your face a glow when applied. Surprisingly, it's not sticky at all! Interestingly, patting it on gives more glow but less even coverage, while spreading it reduces the glow. Over time, your skin looks more naturally hydrated. Brightening: Although it's tricky to control the amount, it does brighten the skin. Convenience: Super convenient as you don't need to get your hands messy.

  Uneven application: You really need to control the amount carefully. Spreading works better than patting, otherwise it can look patchy like you've applied white powder unevenly. You need to apply small amounts and finish by patting with a clean puff for it to adhere well and bring out the glow, but it's challenging to get right. Minimal redness correction: It claims to cover redness, but while it does brighten the skin tone, it doesn't seem to conceal redness very well. Disappointing. Easily contaminated: Since it's not protected by a mesh or push-down mechanism, but rather applied by rubbing, it easily collects dust. Absolutely not recommended for touch-ups on the go! Makes you wonder if you need to wash the puff every time you use it.

Whether it's their sun cushion, foundation, or powder, their products are packed with essence, making them incredibly hydrating. My dry skin was absolutely delighted! You can feel a cooling effect the moment you apply it, making it perfect for lowering skin temperature before makeup application, especially as summer approaches. The gentle ingredients allowed me to use it without any blemishes on my super sensitive skin! I also loved that being a sun cushion, I could apply it without getting my hands dirty. Let's face it, there's hardly anything dirtier than our hands. I usually avoid touching my face when applying makeup or during the day. With sunscreen needing reapplication every few hours, it was often inconvenient when I couldn't wash my hands. This sun cushion allowed me to manage my sun protection hygienically! Now, here's something that could be seen as both a drawback and a benefit - it's quite challenging to remove! As someone who usually relies on foam cleansing for the first step, I found this a bit inconvenient. Foam cleansing alone left my skin feeling a bit rough. So on days I use this sun cushion, I follow up with an oil cleanser for a thorough double cleanse. Of course, for some, its incredible staying power might be a huge plus. For me, it was the only slight drawback.
