Cons1.

ConsThere is some white cast...It's quite heavy for layering. So-so.

Cons1. It's more of a white cast than a brightening effect. 2. There's no real cooling effect to speak of. 3. It's not a cushion or mesh format, but more like a sunscreen in a compact form. This means the product itself easily attracts dust. 4. Probably due to the mineral filters, it feels quite dry after a while. Those with dry skin should take note (like me). Honestly, I can't recommend this. I wish I could go back to before I bought it. 5. The green tint for color correction and redness coverage? That's pretty much non-existent too.

It doesn't irritate my eyes or make my skin overly shiny, and it feels refreshingly cool when applied.
ConsThe white cast might feel a bit excessive, so you might hesitate to apply it generously.

It doesn't pill even when applied over makeup! It also has a cooling effect.
ConsThe white cast goes beyond a subtle brightening effect - it's incredibly noticeable! While it's better than getting sunburned, be careful as you might look more and more like a zombie the more you apply.

It feels refreshing as soon as you apply it to your face. It's also gentle on the skin. As someone with super sensitive skin that often breaks out in small bumps and redness when using the wrong products, I found this one actually helps reduce skin heat, which is great.
ConsThe white cast is seriously intense, no exaggeration. When applied all over the face like a cushion foundation, it makes your face look completely disconnected from your body. In summer, even if you pat it on vigorously for effective sun protection, the color difference between your face and neck is so stark that I've been asked countless times if I'm doing Kabuki makeup. It's also quite moisturizing, which makes it prone to pilling. It starts to wear off from the nose and upper lip area where you sweat first, leaving the rest of your face white - it looks ridiculous. Strangely, it feels dry after a while, though it doesn't cause dead skin cells to appear. This might be due to my deep dryness issues. Also, when it's windy, hair sticks to your face like crazy. It seems the cons outweigh the pros, but since sun protection is crucial, I just rock the 'Kabuki look' or the 'ghost look' and go about my day.
TipThis might work better as a subtle application in winter rather than summer. You'd think the cooling effect would be more intense, but using it in summer is challenging as it comes off too easily and hair sticks to it. However, it's hard to completely dismiss it because the cooling effect is truly great and it's gentle on the skin. I hope they improve on its shortcomings in a future reformulation.

There's no stinging in the eyes, and it applies smoothly. It's so convenient - just a few pats and you're done.
ConsAs it contains mineral filters, there is some white cast. However, it's only about as white as a regular sunscreen, which is fine by me.

It seems less wasteful than cushion types, and being solid, it feels like it might be less prone to contamination. In my experience, there's usually a reason why original formulations are the way they are. I bought it to avoid getting product on my hands, but it takes longer to apply evenly without white cast, and it's slightly harder to remove. Considering all pros and cons, I think traditional sunscreens are still the best. I've tried various forms of sun protection - sticks, cushions, sprays, washable ones - but they're generally disappointing. It seems that for every advantage, there's always a significant drawback. On the bright side, it does have a cooling effect and isn't too drying.
ConsThere's considerable white cast, and it leaves a stiff feeling on the face, similar to old-school mineral sunscreens. You need to use an oil cleanser to feel thoroughly clean when removing it. It's a bit disappointing, especially since nowadays many mineral sunscreens can be easily removed with just a foam cleanser.
TipIf you apply it all the way down to your neck, the white cast isn't too unsightly. But if you only apply it to your face, it's quite noticeable...

(When you dab the product onto your face) After that, it feels the same when you pat it in. When I apply it before makeup, even with my oily skin, it doesn't cause excess oil or make my makeup slide off. It's good overall, but it would be perfect without the white cast. If there wasn't a white cast, I'd repurchase it in a heartbeat.
ConsThe white cast is intense... As someone who uses shade 21, I can't even look at it. When I apply it before makeup, my neck and face look completely disconnected. If I apply it after makeup, I can only put it on areas other than my eyes due to eye makeup, but the difference between the areas with and without it is huge. The white cast... the white cast is this product's only downfall.
TipThis might work well for those with fair skin.

The cooling effect is great, and the mirror in the compact is definitely a plus.
ConsUnfortunately, this product fell short of my high expectations, with several drawbacks. First, there's a steep learning curve for managing the white cast and controlling the glow. I applied it at a cafe, only to step outside and realize in horror that my face was shining like a ghostly kabuki mask. I had to frantically wipe it off with tissues. The white and transparent formulas don't blend easily, leading to patchiness and pilling on the skin. It requires skill and effort to apply thinly and evenly, whether you're patting or spreading, and you need to constantly check in a mirror. Extra care is needed around the jawline and face contours. Otherwise, you'll end up with visible white lines, as if you've applied a white mud mask. (Thankfully, my mom caught this before I left the house.) After carefully blending the product along the jawline and face, another issue awaits when you reach the neck. Despite my best efforts to apply it thinly and transparently, I proudly went to work, only to check the mirror a couple of hours later and find the white formula settled into my neck wrinkles, creating streaky lines. I had to vigorously wipe it off with tissues in a panic.
TipThis is definitely not a compact for quick and easy application outdoors. It's crucial to apply an extremely small amount, spread it very thinly, and frequently check your face in a mirror.
