As soon as I apply it to my face, it becomes refreshing and gentle. Since I have sensitive skin, using the wrong product can cause breakouts and redness, but this actually helps reduce the heat in my skin, which is great.
ConsThe white cast is really, really severe. When I apply it like a cushion all over my face, my face just floats on top. In the summer, I just use this for effective sun protection, patting it on, but then the color difference between my face and neck is so drastic that I've heard a lot of 'Kabuki' comments. And it's so moisturizing that it easily rubs off. Sweat starts from my nose and chin area first, and that's where it disappears first, leaving the rest of my face looking unnaturally pale. And after some time, it strangely becomes drying. My skin doesn't flake, but that might be because I have a really dry skin type. And when the wind blows, my hair sticks to it terribly. There seem to be more drawbacks, but since sun protection is the most important, I just go with Kabuki, Toshio, or Albano.
TipI think it's better to apply it gently in the winter rather than the summer. The cooling effect might be too strong, but in the summer, it's too easily removed and my hair sticks to it, which is a hassle. But it's not entirely bad!! The cooling sensation is really good, and it's gentle, so if they can improve on the drawbacks through a renewal, that would be great.

ConsBut if I apply the base a bit thickly, there's a bit of a peeling effect. And it's a bit strange, the product is white but later when I look at the puff, it's brown..

I decided to try it out with some review points in mind. The cooling effect is good, and the built-in mirror is a plus.
ConsThe product has many shortcomings, which is quite disappointing given my high expectations. First, it requires a long learning period for controlling the white cast and shine. I once applied it at a cafe and was shocked to see my face sparkling white when I went outside, so I had to wipe it off with a tissue. The white and transparent formulas don't blend easily, so it's easy for the product to become uneven and streaky on the face. You need to put in effort and skill to apply it thinly and evenly, and carefully check with a mirror. Especially the chin and jawline area require extra attention. If not, the formula can gather and create a clear line, making it look like you have a mud mask on your chin (luckily I was able to stop myself from going out like that thanks to my mom's warning). Another issue is that if the formula extends down to the neck, you'll encounter another problem. After painstakingly applying it thinly and transparently, and feeling proud of the result, a few hours later you'll see the white formula settled into the neck wrinkles. I panicked and frantically wiped it off with a tissue.
TipThis is definitely not a product that can be quickly and easily swiped on outdoors. You must apply an extremely small amount and make sure to spread it out thinly, constantly checking your face in the mirror.

This product, however, I can use without any irritation or discomfort. It does seem to be quite gentle.
ConsThe tone-up effect is a bit less than expected, so it's suitable for commuting use, but a bit tricky to reapply as it tends to get cakey.
TipIt's just about right - I apply my basic skincare and sunscreen at home, and then touch up once when I'm out.

I was planning to try the mini size first before buying the full-size product, but the mini size has a decent amount of product and fits well in my bag, so I think I'll be able to use it well. It also seems to work well for touch-ups.
ConsWhen I apply it over makeup, I sometimes feel like the makeup starts to shift a bit. So I have to use it gently, but even with the slight tone-up effect, I'm still satisfied with it.

You can apply sunscreen directly to the face without getting it on your hands 2. It feels refreshing and cooling upon application 3. It has a soothing effect, so it's suitable for sensitive skin 4. It's an essence cushion, so it's moisturizing 5. There may be a slight white cast at first, but it settles down over time
Cons1. It's difficult to control the amount. 2. After some time, the product starts to float and when touched, it comes off like a film. 3. The formula is thick and difficult to control.

It's also possible to color-correct...it's easy to apply lightly while carrying it around.
ConsAfter 3-4 hours, there's a bit of sliding. If you don't need to cover your whole face or just certain areas (like around the mask), you'll have to remove it and reapply. As I have an oily skin type, it seems to get even more so in the summer.

I've been using the Age 20's Pact for 5 years now, so I trusted and bought the sun pact as well.
ConsThe makeup cakes, the fragrance is strong, and my eyes feel very irritated. I'm disappointed. As I was applying it, it felt like I was getting pimples and it was itchy.
TipNot recommended for those with eye irritation.

It was too much of a hassle and made my makeup feel heavy, so I didn't do it. However, when I patted on the cushion type, it was definitely more convenient! I had expected the sponge to be compressed with cream, but it was actually in a solid pact form, like a cream compact. So adjusting the amount was easier. You don't have to spread it all over and do multiple steps. Just dab an appropriate amount and pat it in to absorb it. It's also good that it has 100% mineral sun protection and calming cica essence. After using it, my skin tone was evened out and redness was greatly reduced. It doesn't feel overly cooling, but lowers the skin temperature just right. Also, using this before makeup helped prep my skin so the cushion went on smoothly.
ConsIf you apply it too thickly, the cushion can get a bit cakey. I'd recommend using just the right amount of base. It's not as thick and sticky as regular mineral sunscreens, but you still need to be careful when applying it to avoid any clumping or unevenness.
TipActually, I often go out without makeup, and using this product instead of regular sunscreen gives a nice, natural tone-up effect and reduces redness. I'd really recommend using it even without makeup - it gives a 'I'm bare-faced but my skin looks great' kind of look, brightening my face by about half a shade. If you're using it before makeup, I'd suggest applying it thinly.
