Rather than neutralizing yellow undertones, it provides a slight brightening effect. The pink tones are more prominent than the purple. It's not too drying, making it suitable for those with combination to dry skin.
ConsThe staying power is really poor. Oil comes back quickly, so it might only be useful for controlling oil around the eyes or eyebrows. I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. If you keep reapplying, the pink-purple tint becomes very noticeable in those areas. The color difference between applied and non-applied areas becomes too stark, so I've decided to stop using it.

It's so lightweight, and even though I have dry skin, it doesn't make my dead skin cells flake. Plus, it naturally evens out my skin tone.
ConsThe price is a bit steep, so I find myself trying to use it sparingly each time...

I've always appreciated how Hince products deliver exactly what they promise, so I was excited when this lightweight pressed powder was released. I have combination dehydrated skin with a medium tone (shade 21) and slight redness. In the past, I would have automatically chosen beige, but nowadays, a touch of lavender is key for a more youthful look, so I opted for the lavender shade. It was definitely the right choice! It evens out my skin tone and brightens my face. It's perfect for lightly concealing pores and patting onto areas prone to excess oil.
ConsThe blemish coverage is somewhat limited. It's best suited for lightly concealing pores and controlling oil.
Tip- Gently pat the powder on areas where you want to avoid shine or highlight, such as the outer edges of the face, eyebrows, and upper forehead. This helps refine your makeup look. For the sake of this review, I tried both light and heavy applications. Even with multiple layers, it doesn't cake or feel heavy like traditional powders. However, as expected, a thick application can make the skin appear very dry. True to its 'Airy Powder' name, it's designed for a light touch rather than heavy coverage. If you have yellowish undertones with a tendency to flush like me, I highly recommend using a lavender-tinted powder. After using this and heading out, I achieved that baby-soft, velvety skin look, and even received compliments on looking younger!

When gently patted around areas that need less shine like the mouth, smile lines, outer face, and sides of the nose, it minimizes pores and gives a clean, polished look. I'm most impressed with how it enhances the complexion.
ConsThere's nothing I particularly dislike about this product! Although I was initially hesitant about using a lavender shade for the first time, I've grown to appreciate its unique charm with continued use.
TipWhile the included puff works well, using a powder brush to lightly sweep it on creates an even thinner, more natural application!

The lavender color is perfect for brightening areas where you want to even out your skin tone. It's amazing! It provides a definite blurring effect without making your skin feel too dry. I have large pores and uneven texture, but even a small amount gives great coverage! I usually dislike powder because it feels suffocating, but this feels so light that I don't get that sensation. The packaging is super cute and pretty!
ConsIf I had to pick something, since I have some redness, when I apply it to areas with redness, it seems to make the redness a bit more noticeable?
TipThe photo was taken after applying a light layer of cushion foundation.
