I didn't really experience any downsides while using it. Even the packaging isn't bulky, so it fits nicely in my mini bag.

Skin type: Combination dehydrated with deep undertone, muted tone, shade 21 vanilla base. I originally planned to buy the Hince Powder in Beige, but it was sold out so I got Lavender instead. I'm very satisfied! I was worried it might only suit cool tones, but it actually makes my skin look more radiant and brightens my complexion by one shade. If you typically use base makeup in shade 21, you should be able to use this comfortably without it looking too dark. The powder particles are fine, so they cover pores well and effectively control oil.

I'm not thrilled with the ingredients. That's my only concern. It's a bit... ordinary, perhaps?

The powder doesn't create much excess when applied with a brush. Its lavender hue can brighten up yellow-toned complexions. As someone with dry skin, I find it provides just the right amount of powder coverage without being too drying.

The middle... case? Where you put the puff... breaks very easily...

As someone who used to feel sad when my face would mysteriously turn sallow by lunchtime despite looking fine in the morning... that was me! I'm not sure if it's due to work or what, but when I looked in the mirror during lunch, I really looked... haggard. I don't typically use base makeup products, so of course, I can't expect the same staying power as dedicated base makeup, and I don't usually touch up my makeup either, so the results were to be expected ^_^; I just wished that even with just powder alone, I could look a bit more radiant... So I decided to try this purple powder!

It's a super soft powder compact! Personally, I prefer powder compacts over loose powder for on-the-go, so I chose the Hince product among powder compacts.

Naturally, it makes your face brighter than regular white powder compacts!
That said, it's not overly pigmented, but gives a natural radiance.

With other powder compacts, even without dropping them, as the product decreased, chunks would often... crumble off. So when I'd open the powder compact, it would sprinkle everywhere... and then fall on my clothes...
Whether I was lucky or if it's just how it is, I'm not sure, but this happened much less with the Hince powder!

It's a shame the puff gets dirty so quickly... It would be even better if there were additional puffs included besides the built-in one!

It feels like you're wearing nothing at all! Incredibly lightweight! Yet it effectively controls unwanted shine, making it a go-to product. A perfect powder for year-round use.

This product doesn't completely control oil, so if you want to manage oiliness in your T-zone, I suggest lightly dusting with another powder on top.

I have super sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any blemishes around my pores! It's perfect in every way, except for being a bit on the pricey side.

I highly recommend this for those with a light complexion but with a slightly yellow undertone! It brightens your skin tone just right while neutralizing the yellowness, which I absolutely love. While it may not excel at blurring pores, I'd say it's pretty good for a powder!

The staying power is really poor. Oil comes back quickly, so it might only be useful for controlling oil around the eyes or eyebrows. I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. If you keep reapplying, the pink-purple tint becomes very noticeable in those areas. The color difference between applied and non-applied areas becomes too stark, so I've decided to stop using it.

It goes on thin and light. Rather than neutralizing yellow undertones, it provides a slight brightening effect. The pink tones are more prominent than the purple. It's not too drying, making it suitable for those with combination to dry skin.

The price is a bit steep, so I find myself trying to use it sparingly each time...

This is seriously amazing! It's so lightweight, and even though I have dry skin, it doesn't make my dead skin cells flake. Plus, it naturally evens out my skin tone.

It breaks incredibly easily. I got a brand new one and before I could even use it, it suddenly fell apart. So frustrating!

For areas like the T-zone, applying with a brush works even better!

Because it applies relatively lightly, the color payoff isn't as strong as Can*ake products or other lavender blushes.

The hotter it gets, the more this product shines! I always thought it matched my complexion well, but during seasonal changes, when I used moisturizing skincare + foundation + sunscreen, sometimes the foundation would look a bit off. Now that I've switched to lighter skincare, that concern has completely vanished.

It works wonderfully with brightening moisturizers or lightweight foundations. Using less color makeup and just applying this lavender powder to the skin creates a youthful, clean image that's absolutely top-notch!

This lavender powder is perfect for those with a light undertone! I've always used lavender-toned powders and blushes, but this product applies the most lightly. It naturally evens skin tone and gives a radiant, brightening effect to the face.

It's great for correcting discoloration on the forehead or other patchy areas.

And above all, the packaging is incredible. It's the first powder I've wanted to carry around even without using it. The matte case is so beautiful, I'm totally attached to it.

It applies evenly with the puff, but I prefer using a soft brush to gently dust it on for an even lighter application.
