It covers skin texture and pores beautifully... giving a smooth, porcelain-like finish as if you've applied a blur filter. The staying power is incredible - I played badminton for two hours wearing Hince powder, and my face still looked fresh! The lavender shade also helps create a more radiant complexion.
ConsI can't really think of any downsides. I'm even using the included puff effectively.

It just gives my face a bright, radiant look. When I apply it and then add a fluffy powder blush, it looks really pretty. Puff: The puff is plump and on the larger side, which makes application feel nice. Texture: The particles are so fine... I can see why it's called 'airy powder'. When I rub it between my fingers, the surface feels similar to that He* airy primer with the built-in brush (just the surface texture). Longevity: When I apply cushion foundation and set it with this powder, it controls oil well! My skin definitely gets less oily. Convenience: The mirror, puff, and case are all sturdy, making it super portable. It's not loose powder, so no worries about it spilling in your bag! No irritation: I have sensitive skin, but I experienced no irritation when applying or removing this. No breakouts appeared, and my skin didn't feel that typical heavy, suffocating feeling!
ConsSettling into wrinkles, emphasizing dead skin cells: When I apply foundation and then use the included puff to apply the powder, it tends to settle a bit after about 4 hours. This might be more noticeable for me since I have some peach fuzz, visible pores, and oily skin, but it tends to gather in smile lines and dimple areas, emphasizing dead skin cells and wrinkles. When applied heavily, it can get stuck between pores and in fine lines, making foundation and powder look messy together. As someone with visible pores, this is a significant drawback. However, if you use a brush to apply it lightly instead of the puff, it controls oil without building up too much, which greatly reduces this issue! It's really between 4 and 5 stars, maybe 4.5? I'd recommend it as a portable tone-correcting powder to carry around!
TipI recommend using a brush to apply it if possible! As oil builds up, reapplying can make the color look a bit off, and the mixture of oil and powder on your skin can actually make it look messier. So, I suggest using a brush to lightly apply it as a finishing touch after your makeup. For touch-ups, use oil blotting paper to remove excess oil before applying powder. This powder would likely blend seamlessly without clumping if used with light base makeup, sunscreen, BB cream, or brightening moisturizer! It seems like a great powder for a foundation-free look!

I have combination dehydrated skin, and even when I'm not wearing full makeup, I always need to apply powder before going out. I'm the type who can't function normally without carrying powder around! The best thing about this product is how easy it is to control the amount! I've always struggled with both pressed and loose powders, often ending up with cakey makeup... But with this product, whether using the built-in puff or a brush, it's surprisingly easy to get just the right amount. It's amazingly natural-looking too! I didn't notice any pilling or dead skin cells. Another plus is that the packaging is prettier than other powder products, with a hint of lavender that makes your face look brighter. I've attached an unedited review photo below! I only applied brightening moisturizer before the powder. The left side has the powder applied, while the right side is bare.
ConsDrawback: The built-in puff is a bit flimsy and too large, making it slightly difficult to apply the powder to the face. I tried using both a separate small puff and a brush, and found that the powder applies better with the smaller puff! I think it would be better if the puff size was a bit smaller.
TipThe quality of the built-in puff is a bit disappointing, but using it with another puff or brush could really make this product shine!

With the weather getting warmer, it's fantastic that this product both evens out my complexion and controls oil! The powder finish doesn't settle into wrinkles or leave my skin feeling dry. As a bonus, the product packaging is really attractive.
ConsWhen using the included puff, the application can feel a bit heavy. I find that using a brush allows for a lighter, more natural application.

The design and color scheme are so pretty, I'm really loving it. When I swatched the powder with my finger, I was surprised by the slightly larger, grittier particles. However, when applied over oily products on the skin, it creates a beautifully blurred, velvety finish! The powder particles don't feel like they're settling into the skin, instead they blur even textured areas. This means no more hair sticking to your face - it's such a great product for wearing makeup out and about! Some powder products can overdo the texture, making skin look too matte and dehydrated. But the Hince Airy Powder doesn't do that at all - it just absorbs excess oil on the skin without overdoing it. The lavender color doesn't make your complexion look dull either, it evens skin tone beautifully!
ConsI don't have any complaints about the powder's performance itself! If I had to nitpick, the only slight disappointment would be the included puff. It's quite large and fluffy, which means it tends to get clumpy with use. While it works well for larger areas like the cheeks and forehead, it's not ideal for applying powder evenly to curved areas like the nose.
TipThe included puff is great for touch-ups when you're out, but when applying makeup at home, using a brush instead of the puff will give you much better results.

The fine particles allow for a thin application, which feels comfortable and not heavy on the skin. 2. When applied, it has a subtle purple tint that gives the complexion a brighter look. 3. The design is pretty and clean, showcasing the product's features well. (Referring to the 3rd photo - I appreciated the thoughtful packaging with an inner paper box protecting the compact inside the outer packaging, giving a sense of sturdy protection.)
Cons1. Due to the fine powder, using a brush or a thinner, denser puff than the included one results in better color payoff and less clumping when applied to the face. 2. When using the included puff, I had to tap it into the powder multiple times, and even after tapping off excess, it was difficult to apply evenly. 3. When applied over blemish scars, there was some visible powder clumping.
TipBefore applying lipstick, use a cushion to blur the lip line, then apply this purple powder to brighten and eliminate dullness around the mouth area. After touch-ups, lightly dust a bit of this powder on the area between the eyebrows and around the nose for a brightening effect.
