While the product looks appealing, it causes an immediate burning sensation upon application. The overall feeling is one of intense tingling and discomfort. I'm used to some sensitivity with brightening products, but this one feels exceptionally irritating. It's so harsh that even my eyes sting.

I bought it because it was cheap, but aside from its pretty appearance, everything else about it is disappointing. Personally, I'd recommend avoiding all of Skinfood's Food Masks. Among them, the rice and lemon varieties are particularly irritating for me. The rich finish seems to trigger blemishes, and I'm skeptical about its brightening effects. In my opinion, this is definitely one to skip.

As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I find it a bit heavy. I love how each variety of Skinfood Food Masks has its own unique scent and texture. The Lemon Dill Butter one has a lovely, subtle lemon fragrance. Its texture is unlike any I've tried before - it's a bit on the drier side with a slightly grainy consistency. But don't let that fool you! After using it, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated and refreshed.

Mixing it with aloe soothing gel can increase the moisturizing effect.

It may not be the most affordable in terms of volume, but I trust the ingredients.

Irritation Level:
Throughout use, there was almost no skin irritation such as redness or blemishes.

It dries faster than you might expect, so make sure to apply it generously.

I tried this a few times because it's supposed to be a brightening product, but I really couldn't notice any effects... I still had about a year left before expiration, so I decided to use it again after a while. This time, even though it wasn't expired, the mask had hardened a bit and the clay smell was even stronger, which was disappointing... Also, when applying the mask, it feels like it's full of some kind of sandy texture. You really have to be careful when washing it off or it could get in your eyes and cause trouble... I bought this product sometime in 2023 and have been using it occasionally, maybe once a year when I remember. To be honest, I'm not really sure about its advantages..

I'm seriously upset. After applying this, my face started burning intensely within 3 minutes, so I immediately washed it off. My skin turned all red, and I had to use sheet masks and modeling masks to barely manage the redness. It's incredibly irritating. I strongly advise against using this product.

The scent and how it absorbs seem nice. That's about all I can say positively.
