It's truly amazing! You can clearly see your complexion brightening after just one use. I'm using it without any complaints. I highly recommend it! - hw********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresMay 25, 2025
I was drawn to try this product due to its affordable price and attractive packaging. The texture feels quite rich and thick when applied, and it doesn't leave a particularly fresh finish. As someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, I find it a bit heavy. However, the visual appeal is undeniable - it has this beautiful buttery appearance that's truly pleasing to look at while applying. While the product looks appealing, it causes an immediate burning sensation upon application. The overall feeling is one of intense tingling and discomfort. I'm used to some sensitivity with brightening products, but this one feels exceptionally irritating. It's so harsh that even my eyes sting. I bought it because it was cheap, but aside from its pretty appearance, everything else about it is disappointing. Personally, I'd recommend avoiding all of Skinfood's Food Masks. Among them, the rice and lemon varieties are particularly irritating for me. The rich finish seems to trigger blemishes, and I'm skeptical about its brightening effects. In my opinion, this is definitely one to skip. It's important to note that skin reactions can vary greatly from person to person. What doesn't work for one individual might be suitable for another. Always patch test new products, especially if you have sensitive skin, and discontinue use if you experience any irritation or discomfort. - gu******Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 24, 2025
I love how each variety of Skinfood Food Masks has its own unique scent and texture. The Lemon Dill Butter one has a lovely, subtle lemon fragrance. Its texture is unlike any I've tried before - it's a bit on the drier side with a slightly grainy consistency. But don't let that fool you! After using it, my skin feels wonderfully hydrated and refreshed. While I've never had issues with Skinfood Food Masks, I've noticed that some family members don't react well to certain varieties. It's always a good idea to do a patch test on your hand or use a small amount first before applying it to your face. Remember, everyone's skin is different, so what works for one person might not work for another. Always listen to your skin and adjust your skincare routine accordingly. - qb*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 16, 2025
The moisture level is just right, the skin texture is well-organized, good. It may not be the most affordable in terms of volume, but I trust the ingredients. Mixing it with aloe soothing gel can increase the moisturizing effect. - vm********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 9, 2025
I received this as a gift, and it seems to have a subtle lemon scent There are no granules, which is a shame. It really feels like you're applying a face mask. I do like the way it feels when applying though - ag*********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 7, 2025
When I first opened it, the lemon scent was absolutely delightful! It wasn't overpowering at all and suited my taste perfectly. After applying the mask and rinsing it off a few minutes later, I really felt like my skin looked more refined and polished. The only downside was that it took a bit longer to rinse off completely, but everything else was satisfactory! - eu*****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedApr 2, 2025
Texture: Like lemon dill butter, it has a thick, creamy consistency. Application and Feel: Unlike products from other brands, it spreads incredibly smoothly. It feels just like applying a regular cream. It dries quickly and has a mild feel that doesn't cause uncomfortable tightness as it dries. There's hardly any burning sensation, and it doesn't cause dryness, making it great for those with dry skin. Skin Condition and Effects After Use: The most satisfying aspect is how easily this cream mask rinses off. You don't even need a puff - it washes off effortlessly with cold water, which is super convenient. The clay's strength lies in how lightly it applies and how easily it rinses off. After use, it improves skin texture and provides hydration, which is very satisfying. Irritation Level: Throughout use, there was almost no skin irritation such as redness or blemishes. Being in a jar packaging, there's a concern about dust or foreign substances getting in. - ih****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2025
The texture and feel are just like applying real butter - After rinsing, you can visibly see your skin looking brighter - Surprisingly good value for money - If you're into vintage designs, you'll love the packaging (like me) - Once finished, it makes you want to try other varieties There's nothing particularly bad. Really. Nothing at all. It's not quite holy grail status though. It dries faster than you might expect, so make sure to apply it generously. - sm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
I've been using this for over two months now. I bought it along with the Shine Muscat one. The texture feels delightfully bouncy when you apply it, almost like butter. It has a lovely lemon dill butter scent that puts you in a good mood - it's almost like you're indulging in a delicious treat! It's like having a fun food-inspired mask session. While I'm not sure about repurchasing, I think it's worth having for daily care. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized and nourished. However, I can't say I've noticed any extraordinary effects. The dill leaves, which seem to act as an exfoliant, can be a bit irritating. Also, it doesn't rinse off easily, so you need to be thorough when washing it off. Other than that, I don't have any major complaints. Make sure to rinse thoroughly and follow up with your skincare routine. Since it can be a bit harsh, it might be good to apply a soothing product afterwards. I also enjoyed blending it with other ingredients for a mask - it seems to combine well with other products! - so********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesFeb 19, 2025
I bought this product sometime in 2023 and have been using it occasionally, maybe once a year when I remember. To be honest, I'm not really sure about its advantages.. I tried this a few times because it's supposed to be a brightening product, but I really couldn't notice any effects... I still had about a year left before expiration, so I decided to use it again after a while. This time, even though it wasn't expired, the mask had hardened a bit and the clay smell was even stronger, which was disappointing... Also, when applying the mask, it feels like it's full of some kind of sandy texture. You really have to be careful when washing it off or it could get in your eyes and cause trouble... I'd recommend everyone to choose a different product instead of this one... Please,, Nothing to add. Just buy something else;;
