It absorbs so well that it feels like you're applying a hydrating moisturizer.
ConsAs time passes, it seems to cause a bit of shine and deep dryness.

Packaging Great that it doesn't leak and pumps out just the right amount 2. Texture Light consistency that applies like a hydrating moisturizer 3. Hydration Noticeably more hydrating than other brightening moisturizers, but the moistness doesn't linger after makeup application 4. Brightening effect For fair skin, it subtly brightens the complexion 5. Scent Has a typical brightening sunscreen fragrance, but it's not overpowering when applied
ConsExperienced a slight tingling sensation when applied to blemish-prone areas Lacks coverage for use as a foundation-free product, and doesn't leave a pretty glow on the skin (appears slightly shiny, but not actually greasy)

(Though it doesn't show up in photos, it's like a subtle highlighter effect) - Natural brightening effect. Texture: - It has a rather fluid consistency - Absorbs well - Adheres nicely to the skin - Not sticky at all! My hair doesn't stick to my face even when I wear it down. Scent: - Has a tangy fruit fragrance. Ingredients: - No eye irritation - I have super sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any tingling sensation.
ConsCoverage: - (As it applies transparently) The coverage is light - Can cover dark circles / Can't cover scars or blemishes - However, there's definitely a noticeable difference compared to bare skin!
TipTips: - This might be enough on its own for those with naturally good skin. Unfortunately, I have a lot of scars, so I can't do my makeup without foundation - When I apply a matte foundation over this base, it loses its glow, so I mixed them together and it worked quite well.

This sunscreen base product gives a natural glow and brightens the complexion. I dislike overly shimmery brightening bases, but this one gives just enough glow to make your skin look healthy - like you've applied a subtle highlighter! Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes after using this product. It has that distinctive vitamin scent typical of skincare products containing vitamins. While some products can look too white and sit on the skin, this one absorbs well, feels moisturizing, and naturally brightens the complexion by about half a shade.
ConsAfter wearing it for a while, the U-zone and T-zone become quite oily. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin types. Don't expect too much in terms of brightening effects. It's best for those who want a moisturizing sunscreen alternative that provides a subtle, natural half-shade brightening effect.
TipPro tip: For a naturally glowy skin look, you can use this as a highlighter alternative. Apply it to the bridge of your nose, center of your forehead, and cheek areas where you'd normally apply blush, either before or after foundation.

Cons* Texture: For those with very oily skin, it becomes greasy... and quite quickly too. Not sure how it would work for dry skin types * Blemishes: After just 2 tests, my face had a small bump party... Even though I cleansed really thoroughly * Color: It claims to brighten, but for someone with already fair cool-toned skin, it only slightly brightens? Please check the swatch photo on the back of my hand
TipThose with oily skin types should use this product with caution

It applies moisturizing and gives quite a glow! It subtly brightens your complexion, which is perfect for those days when you don't want to wear makeup but still want to avoid looking dull. There's a cosmetic scent, but I didn't find it bothersome.
ConsMy face felt a bit warm after application, so I couldn't test it extensively. The sensation seemed to subside after a few minutes, and while it didn't cause any blemishes, I used it intermittently just to be safe. It felt like it didn't fully absorb into my skin. I think it's best used alone, as applying cushion foundation over it didn't work well for me.
TipI found it works great for evening out the skin tone on my neck!

The peach-tinted formula gives a natural and subtly brightened look that's just perfect! What I especially loved is the barely-there, delicate peach scent that doesn't smell medicinal at all - it's so addictive. The lightweight texture feels like it won't be sticky or burdensome even in the hot summer months.
ConsOh no... I had high hopes for the CellFusion C brightening moisturizer sunscreen since I loved their Toning Sunscreen last year. But unfortunately, the Water-Fit Tone-Up strangely clumps together. It might be okay if you apply a very thin layer, but if you use it like a regular sunscreen, it balls up and separates. Because of this, when you try to apply foundation or cushion on top, it all just pills and becomes a mess. Despite being called 'Water-Fit', I expected it to be more hydrating. While it feels moisturizing when first applied, over time it becomes dry and leaves my skin feeling tight. Even with my combination dehydrated skin, I felt dryness after using this product.
TipTo avoid clumping, spread it thinly and pat it in as if you're ironing your skin.

Skin type: I have rosacea, which often causes intense heat on my face. This leads to moisture loss, which in turn triggers more heat, dryness, and redness. Texture/Application: Given it's a brightening moisturizer, I thought it might be thick like physical sunscreens, but it has a light, emulsion-like consistency. It glides on smoothly and doesn't cause pilling with makeup. Scent: I appreciate that there's no strong fragrance. Irritation: Despite having super sensitive skin that easily flushes, I haven't experienced any significant irritation. There haven't been any notable blemishes either. However, since my skin naturally tends to flush and heat up frequently, it's hard to determine if any issues are product-related. That said, I haven't noticed any increase in my usual heat or redness.
ConsWhile it's not exactly a drawback, one aspect that differed from my expectations was the coverage. It's described as a brightening base, so I anticipated some coverage, but it only provides a slight pink-based brightening effect with no actual coverage. Also, the small, toothpaste-like tube can't stand upright, which is a minor inconvenience.

I love that you don't need to apply a separate cream-based product afterwards. - The scent is delightful too, with subtle citrus notes that give it a sweet and tangy feel. The color has a slight pearly tone to it. - When applying makeup, I think it would work great mixed with a matte foundation!
Cons- While it's marketed as a brightening moisturizer, I didn't really notice a significant improvement in evening out my skin tone. It's just right as a base product. - On days when you're too lazy for a full makeup routine, this alone might not provide enough coverage. As you can see in the photo, I have quite a few freckles, so it doesn't offer much coverage - it just evens out the complexion with a slight pink tint. - Compared to my usual Cell Fusion C Toning Sun Cream, this actually has less coverage. The sun cream gives a brighter complexion. However, this is more about personal color preference than a real drawback. I tend to prefer the lighter 21 shade, so that might be why I feel this way.
TipFor those with dry skin like mine, this hydrating toner base works great as a moisturizer replacement. I found it most effective when I mixed it half-and-half with my foundation after my skincare routine!

Texture: Initially moisturizing with a slightly oily feel, but it sets to a matte finish. Feel: Incredibly lightweight - I'd describe it as airy rather than watery. It surprisingly covers blemishes well, and once applied, it has a light finish with excellent skin adhesion and no transfer. For those who dislike heavy foundation or thick makeup, I recommend using this brightening moisturizer alone for a light coverage.
ConsRecommended for oily skin types. While it applies moisturizing, it tends to dry out after setting, which might slightly accentuate dead skin cells. Highly recommended for those who dislike stickiness and product transfer!
TipThis product seems great for achieving a clean, lightweight complexion.
