Package & Case The sunstick is small, making it convenient to carry around! It's so easy to slip into my bag and quickly apply in the afternoon. The case color is also really pretty! The vibrant orange catches people's attention, and I've had folks ask about it when I'm out and about. 2. No Eye Irritation I usually struggle with eye irritation when applying sunscreen, which makes it hard for me to switch products. However, with the La Roche sunstick, I don't have to worry about that at all, which is fantastic!
Cons1. Texture & Application Compared to my previous sunstick, the application feels a bit disappointing. It's somewhat stiff and doesn't glide on as smoothly. However, it does get a bit better after the first application. 2. Fragrance The scent is described as vanilla, and it's definitely very sweet. While the fragrance itself is pleasant, it can be a bit overwhelming when applied to the face, as the scent lingers. 3. Heavy Feel As mentioned earlier, perhaps due to its stiffness, it feels like it sits on top of the skin rather than being absorbed. This can make your skin feel a bit heavy. It's also a bit too much to wear under makeup.

Turns into combination dehydrated skin in summer. - The small size makes it convenient to use anytime and easy to carry around. - Given the serious environmental issues these days, I particularly appreciate that this brand is environmentally conscious. - Despite being very sensitive to eye irritation, I experienced no discomfort at all. Thumbs up! - My biggest worry when using sunsticks is makeup pilling, but this absorbs well even when applied before touch-ups, allowing use without disturbing makeup. - The texture isn't heavy and doesn't feel excessively sticky, which I liked. - The compact size is great for carrying around and reapplying frequently.
Cons- The application feels a bit stiff. - The fragrance might be hit or miss (vanilla and white chocolate scent). - It's somewhat pricey for the amount you get. - After application, it doesn't leave a completely matte finish where hair won't stick to your skin.
TipSunscreen should always be reapplied every two hours. It's best to apply sunscreen first, then touch up with a sunstick!

In summer, just one minute of sun exposure makes my arms turn red. However, this product seems to provide good sun protection as my skin didn't redden even in direct sunlight. The scent is like honey butter coconut...? I don't have any products with this fragrance at home, so I really liked it. The size is adorably compact, great for portability. It has a Vaseline-like texture, but even on my oily facial skin, it didn't feel too greasy. It's neither too rich nor sticky, just pleasantly lightweight.
ConsI found the application a bit stiff, which was disappointing. It spreads thinly while feeling tough, making me wonder, 'How much more do I need to apply?' I ended up continuously rubbing it in, which caused friction and made my arms turn red.
TipFor those with very dry skin or those who don't regularly use body lotion, it might feel stiff at first. In that case, you could try applying your usual sunscreen before going out, and then use this as a touch-up after you're outside.

Compact size for easy portability 3. Even application thanks to its cylindrical shape 4. Environmentally conscious vegan brand 5. Waterproof formula optimized for summer 6. High SPF protection
Cons1. Not budget-friendly 2. Polarizing fragrance 3. May feel greasy on oily skin 4. Slightly stiff application
TipFor those with dry skin, try applying this product to areas where makeup tends to separate, then apply your makeup on top. It should help your makeup stay put without any patchiness!

Eco-friendliness From the packaging to the wrapping materials, everything was environmentally friendly when I received the delivery. The product itself is free from ingredients harmful to the environment (coral), which helps alleviate the guilt of using sunblock products in summer, despite their environmental impact. 2. Scent To me, it has a warm coconut and almond fragrance that makes applying it feel like an aromatherapy session. However, scent preferences can vary greatly, so those who dislike this type of fragrance might want to keep that in mind. 3. Size and Container Design It's compact and fits comfortably in one hand, making it highly portable. The twist-off cap is great for preventing potential disasters if it accidentally opens in your bag. 4. Skin Feel I have thin, sensitive skin, but true to its gentle ingredients, this product causes no irritation and feels mild. It's labeled as suitable for children 3 and up, and I genuinely feel it would be safe to use on kids.
Cons1. Application It spreads a bit thick, so you need to massage it in with your hands to feel confident about the coverage. 2. Finish The finish is more dewy and moisturizing than matte. Those who prefer a powdery finish or have oily skin might find it a bit sticky. Personally, I don't mind this, as I've found that products with a matte finish can sometimes leave a powdery residue that transfers to clothes. This aspect will likely come down to personal preference.
TipI usually only use sunsticks for my body, so I don't find it particularly inconvenient. It feels like it coats the skin, which might make it less likely to wash off during water activities and convenient for reapplication on the go.

Its compact size makes it convenient for travel, and the stick format allows for easy application with just a few swipes. Initially, it felt heavier (?) than other sunscreens, almost like a slightly hardened glue stick. I thought makeup would be difficult over it, but after it absorbed a bit, I found that base makeup actually adhered well, making it suitable for a full makeup routine. One thing I particularly loved was the cap design. Instead of pulling off, it twists open, reducing the risk of accidental opening and contamination in a messy bag. The formula seems water-resistant, making it great for water activities. Unlike traditional sunscreens, it's ocean-safe, which is fantastic. Plus, its high SPF provides peace of mind! Perhaps due to the apricot seed oil, it's not drying, and leaves a subtle, soft vanilla scent. I'm even more satisfied knowing the whole family can use this product!
ConsCompared to other sunsticks I've tried, this one applies thicker and less smoothly. It's not ideal for those who prioritize makeup over sun protection. It might cause pilling if applied over makeup. (For someone like me who only does light base makeup with cushion foundation, the texture actually helps hold my makeup in place, making it suitable for daily use)
Tip- If you're using it before makeup, swipe it across your face and let it absorb a bit before starting your base! - Many places prohibit sunscreen during marine activities like snorkeling due to its harmful effects on ocean ecosystems. However, you can use this product worry-free, so don't forget to pack it for your beach trips!

It came in a box without any tape at all :) Here are the things I liked: • It's not too sticky • It has a soft powder scent • The solid formula doesn't melt or soften easily • Its compact size makes it great for carrying around • It applies thinly without settling into wrinkles • The round shape allows for even application These were the main points, and it seems to have more advantages than other sunsticks on the market. I didn't have any major issues while using it.
ConsNevertheless, there were a few minor drawbacks: • There's a slight rich feeling, so those with oily skin should avoid applying it to the face • It might feel a bit stiff when applying • The small size means it takes a while to apply to the body These were areas I felt could be improved based on my experience, but they're not significant enough to be deal-breakers. I'd recommend giving it a try!
TipSince it applies like a coating, I'd recommend using it on your neck or body rather than your face!

Convenient portable size It's just the right size to fit snugly in your bag, not too big. This means you can easily apply it anytime, anywhere! Even if you forget to put on sunscreen before going out, you can comfortably apply it while you're out and about. 2. Subtle coconut scent While this might be a matter of personal preference, as someone who loves coconut scent, I really enjoyed it! The fragrance isn't overpowering, so even my sister who used it with me was satisfied with the scent. 3. Waterproof formula and vegan sunscreen The La Rore Clean Sun Stick is a waterproof vegan sunscreen, so you don't have to worry when you're in the water. As a vegan sunscreen, it was a product that even I, with my usually sensitive skin, could use comfortably.
ConsCons: 1. Stiff application The La Rore sun stick's application was a bit disappointing. It felt stiff when applying, which made it somewhat uncomfortable to use on the face. As a result, I mainly used it on my arms and legs! 2. Shininess After using the sun stick, there was a noticeable shine, though I'm not sure if it was due to oiliness. This made it feel a bit sticky on the body when sweating, which was slightly uncomfortable. However, it did improve after some time.
TipYou can reapply or touch up without worrying about it pilling, so it's easy to use without any concerns. Thank you for reading my review!

It's a vanilla-scented sunstick with no white cast, and its mini size makes it easy to carry around for touch-ups.
ConsThe texture is a bit stiff when applying, making it difficult to smoothly cover every nook and cranny of your face. The scent might be polarizing for some. If you have oily skin, you might find your face getting quite greasy as time passes.

Sunscreen typically needs reapplication after a while, which can be inconvenient. When applying regular sunscreen, hand hygiene is crucial, but it's not practical to wash your hands every time you're out. This stick format perfectly solves that issue - just open the cap and swipe it on. Moreover, this product doesn't leave a white cast, making it comfortable to wear. Its compact size fits perfectly in your hand, making it portable and discreet to apply anywhere. The hands-free application is so convenient that my daughter tried it and loved it so much she took it with her! It seems to be non-toxic, as I even applied it to bare skin without toner and found it gentle with no irritation. After application, there's a slight coating effect with a glow, which I found pleasant for my dry skin type without being excessive. There's a slight stickiness, but it doesn't cause pilling with makeup. However, it's best not to apply too many layers at once. When fully extended, the stick seems to contain a generous amount of product. It smoothly rolls up and down. I applaud this product for being non-toxic and environmentally conscious in its production.
ConsThe downside is... I find the fragrance quite strong. The vanilla and coconut scent is noticeable from the moment of application, and when applied near the nose, the scent lingers, which can be slightly bothersome. It would be better without the artificial fragrance. The texture is also a bit stiff, so it's not the smoothest to apply. Because of this, it can be a bit tricky to apply thoroughly on curved areas like the nose.
