As I have dry skin, I don't particularly like overly matte types, but this one applies smoothly with a moisturizing texture like a lip balm, making my skin feel comfortable. There's absolutely no eye irritation or white cast, so it's great for reapplying frequently on both face and body. It also seems suitable to use with children. The scent is a cozy and sweet coconut and vanilla base, which wasn't bad at all. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a moisturizing sunstick without white cast!
ConsThe cozy coconut-based scent might feel a bit heavy in the peak of summer. Also, since the formula has a balance of both oil and moisture, those with oily skin might find it a bit rich.

It fits easily in a handbag without taking up much space. Despite its small size, the amount of product seems generous. Convenience-wise, it's user-friendly. The product comes out like a glue stick when you twist it. The screw-on cap ensures it won't accidentally open in your bag. I once forgot a sunstick in my purse with the cap off, resulting in a messy sunscreen disaster. Thankfully, that's unlikely to happen with this one. As a lip balm, it's not bad. Though marketed for face, lips, and sensitive areas, it feels most suitable as a lip product.
ConsTexture: It's extremely sticky right after application. Even 4 hours later, it still feels heavy and tacky on the skin. The product applies and remains very thick on the skin. Application: While it glides on smoothly, you'll need to work hard to cover larger areas like legs due to its small size. I have both coarse and fine hair on my arms and legs, and because of the thick formula, it makes the hair stick to the skin uncomfortably. It's not a pleasant feeling. (My wavy hair looks completely straight and plastered down with this on!) Scent: This is the deal-breaker that brought it down to a 3-star rating. The intense vanilla fragrance gives me a headache. While it might be fine for perfume, it's too strong for a sunstick that needs to be applied all over the body regularly in summer. When you're outdoors a lot, you need to reapply every 2-3 hours, but this is too much. The very strong vanilla scent lasts for at least an hour, even outdoors. Even after 4 hours without reapplication, you can still smell it faintly. It really makes me nauseous...
TipUse it as a perfume... The scent longevity is no joke! It's really too much for facial use because of the fragrance. The texture isn't gentle or light enough for sensitive areas either. I think I'll stick with my usual sunscreen...

It offers reliable sun protection! I'm satisfied that it blocks both UVA and UVB rays with SPF50, and it's great that it applies smoothly without leaving a white cast. I appreciated that the texture remained consistent even after multiple applications. I used it as a base before applying cushion foundation, and the cushion adhered perfectly without any patchiness. It performed better than most bases I've tried. I'm thrilled with how it created a clear complexion! It's reassuring to know that the ingredients are coral-safe, so I can use it with peace of mind. The lightweight and compact case makes it very portable. I also liked that the surface has a pleasant, slightly textured feel, which keeps it comfortable to hold even when your hands are sweaty.
ConsAs someone with sensitive eyes, I experienced some eye irritation. The product claims to be non-sticky, but I found it quite tacky. It didn't seem to absorb even after some time. It also transfers easily and feels a bit heavy on the skin. The texture reminds me of coconut balm sold overseas. The scent is quite strong. It has a sweet vanilla fragrance that might feel too heavy for summer use. Considering both the scent and texture, it seems more suitable for cooler weather rather than summer. Lastly, I was a bit disappointed to find some foreign particles in the product.
TipIt works amazingly as a base before applying cushion foundation! Even matte cushions look dewy and fresh over this!

So far, I've been using it without any blemishes. Texture and Application: This is my first time using a sunscreen stick, and it definitely feels a bit stiffer to apply compared to regular tube-type sunscreens. Scent: While the scent itself is nice, it's a bit heavy, like vanilla, which is a bit disappointing. It might feel a bit stuffy to use in midsummer. Given that sunsticks are used more often in summer, I think a fresher, cooler scent would have been better. The thing I liked most while using it is that it doesn't sting my eyes. With previous sunscreens, my eyes would always tear up and ruin my eye makeup, which was inconvenient. For me, the lack of eye irritation is the biggest advantage of this product. Also, its small size makes it easy to carry, and the packaging is fresh and pretty, making it great for touch-ups on the go. + It might seem trivial, but I like that it has a 'no refunds after opening' sticker. These days, some products come without packaging boxes or these stickers, so you might receive a product that someone else has opened, which can be unsettling. This little sticker helps reduce that concern.
ConsThe main reason I wanted to try a stick product was because I disliked the slippery, sticky feeling of sunscreen left on my hands after application. Of course, I wipe it off right away, but still... So, I wanted to avoid using my hands even when applying it to the contoured parts of my face, but I'm not sure how to apply it well without using my hands. As mentioned above, the scent might feel a bit heavy in midsummer.

Packaging: The delivery box was unique. It was designed to minimize tape usage, opening like a snack box, which I found amusing. Upon closer inspection of the sunstick inside, I could tell this was an eco-friendly company. It made me feel good about my purchase. 2. Scent: The vanilla fragrance is strong. It's reminiscent of a Bio Candy vanilla flavor, perhaps? It's a bit more intense than the scent of Malang Cow. The sweet aroma is quite pleasant. 3. Application: Being a stick format, it didn't feel overly greasy. While I can't directly verify its UV protection, the SPF50 rating gives me confidence. The stick format and compact size make it convenient to carry around and apply quickly. Plus, the trendy yellow sunstick adds to its appeal.
ConsThere aren't many downsides to mention. As it's a sunscreen, it can feel like there's a film on your skin, which might feel a bit heavy for some people.

The stick format is great - you just swipe it on quickly, which is super convenient. The size is about as big as my index finger, making it perfect for carrying around and reapplying. What I really appreciate is that it's environmentally friendly! As for the scent, it might be a hit or miss for some. It's a sweet coconut or vanilla fragrance, which could feel a bit heavy as the weather gets warmer. The application is smooth, and it leaves a slight glow on the skin.
ConsHmm... while it applies well and seems suitable for the face, it feels a bit rich. Even though I have dry skin that's less prone to dryness in summer, I noticed it left quite an oily feeling as it melted into my skin. Because of this, my face started to feel uncomfortable as time passed. I think it might be better suited for use in autumn or winter rather than summer!

When I first opened it, it had a homemade feel to it. The texture becomes slightly runny when applied and feels moisturizing. As mentioned on the product page, there's no stickiness or white cast, which is great. Though it's yellow, it goes on clear. The fragrance is like coconut oil mixed with a hint of packaging scent. I got to try this for free, and that's my experience so far. I'll need to use it more to know for sure, but so far, no major issues! The package arrived in eco-friendly packaging too!
ConsThe amount is really small... It feels like the least amount I've seen in any sunstick. While there's no stickiness or white cast, it feels too oily. The shine does fade over time, but it leaves a heavy feeling on the skin. It's impossible to use this for the whole body; it seems more suited for face use. Also, the package was a bit difficult to open.
TipNo need for multiple applications, just swipe it on in one go!

This product applies smoothly, making it easy to use whether I'm heading out or just got home. It's small enough to fit in the palm of a woman's hand, which is perfect for carrying around and applying on-the-go. It has a coconut scent, which I actually enjoyed even though I'm not usually sensitive to smells. Surprisingly, it didn't cause my makeup to pill when applied beforehand.
ConsWhen I applied it to my face during summer, it felt sticky and heavy. I did experience some whiteheads, but they disappeared after washing my face. It might be more suitable for winter use or for those with dry skin, even during summer months.
TipIt's great for traveling or carrying with you when you're out, allowing for quick and easy application.

Cons☑️ The inherent heaviness of sunstick formulas Inevitably feels a bit heavy if you apply too much, since you can't see how much you've applied by color However, sunsticks have a clear purpose, so it's good for application without getting your hands messy ☑️ Not a powdery finish (A powdery finish would apply more stiffly) After application, you can feel the sunstick on your skin, making it difficult to touch your neck or face
Tip✔️ Patting with a puff or your hands after application gives a more comfortable finish

It has a pleasant scent and is gentle on the skin. Plus, it's so easy to use! I always make sure to apply sunscreen before my morning workouts, and this one is great because I can quickly swipe it on. It's super convenient! What's particularly nice is that even when applied after washing my face, it has a naturally rich feel, so I can use it without experiencing any dryness. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I once tried a drying sunscreen that led to excess oil production, blemishes, and irritated skin. So I prefer moisturizing sunscreens! The La Roche sunstick feels rich when first applied, but it doesn't look greasy. Over time, it transitions from an oily sensation to a pleasantly hydrated feel.
ConsWhile it's great for applying on bare skin, if you try to use it over makeup, it causes pilling. I'm not sure if it's because the La Roche sunstick feels more stiff than smooth when applying, but it seems difficult to use over makeup. Also, while it might be fine for spring, fall, and winter, I think it might feel too heavy on the face during summer. After application, there's enough richness that your hair might stick to your face, but it's not an uncomfortable heaviness.
TipIt doesn't apply well right after opening the cap! Try rubbing it on the back of your hand first to soften it up, then apply. It works much better that way!
