Pros
The way it absorbs and its absorption rate are average, and it doesn't seem to irritate my skin.
Cons
I'm a bit disappointed with how it applies and absorbs. After applying, it doesn't sink in right away and feels like it's just sitting on top of my skin.

Pros
Absorption was quick and there was no irritation. Retinol is great for beginners to use as an introductory product.
Cons
I recommend that oily skin types try and use the Hwahae Testers.

Pros
It's amazing that you can try retinol at this price point! It spreads well even with a small amount, offering great value for money. Since I started using it, I feel like the rough texture of my skin has improved a bit. The low irritation makes it relatively easy for retinol beginners to use.
Cons

Great value for money, especially at just 5000 won! The fragrance is pleasantly rich and deep. After application, it leaves the skin feeling quite hydrated. The low retinol concentration means it's gentle and non-irritating.
Cons
While the concept of low retinol content is intentional, and it seems to be marketed as an entry-level product, it's worth noting that typical beginner retinol concentrations are usually around 0.075-0.1%. This product, however, contains only 0.05%. Of course, one could argue 'what do you expect for 5000 won?', but the concentration is lower than I anticipated. Due to this, I probably won't repurchase.

Pros
Despite its affordable price, this product absorbs well. Perhaps due to its low retinol content, I didn't experience any irritation while using it. It has just the right amount of richness, so I used it as the final step in my skincare routine.
Cons

1. Affordable price 2. No significant irritation even for sensitive skin... Maybe it's due to the low concentration that some say requires an adjustment period? 3. Not overly heavy texture Consistency feels like a middle ground between a hydrating and moisturizing cream Spreads incredibly well 4. Cons
The scent is really... unpleasant... It's more of a medicinal smell rather than a cosmetic fragrance. Being sensitive to smells, I found this quite off-putting. It feels somewhat greasy, so I recommend using lighter products in your earlier skincare steps. If applied too heavily, it doesn't absorb well and seems to just sit on top of the skin.
Tip
1. Apply in thin layers, building up gradually. I usually apply about 3 layers. 2. Since this is a retinol product, I'm a bit concerned about potential conflicts with other ingredients. Retinol is known to work well with ingredients famous for hydration and barrier support! e.g. peptides, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, panthenol, etc.

Pros
First time trying retinol! My skin must be pretty tough because I didn't experience any irritation at all. The texture is rich and slightly oily. Not sure about the retinol effects yet - guess I'll have to keep using it to find out!
Cons
The scent... oh boy. It's like an old-fashioned men's aftershave. The smell is really strong and doesn't fade away. It's quite overpowering.
