Dad says he loves it! I got it for him because he was concerned about age spots and blemishes. Looking at his face now, I can definitely see that his dark spots and imperfections have become noticeably less visible. While they haven't completely disappeared, the improvement is clear and impressive. Dad's thrilled that his skin feels more hydrated and firm. I've tried it a couple of times myself and I'm quite satisfied with how well it absorbs and how smoothly it applies.
ConsSince I prefer fragrance-free cosmetics, I'm a bit disappointed that this has added fragrance. It smells exactly like that Q-cure or red ampoule, just more subtle. Personally, I don't find the scent particularly pleasant, but my dad doesn't mind it.
TipIt's recommended to start with the 250 Vitamin Retinol Cream before moving on to the 500 version (to help your skin adapt).

The product case claims it improves elasticity and lifting after just one use, but I'm a bit skeptical about that. It seems to absorb well, so I've been applying a thin layer and using it only in the evenings for now. My skin feels soft when I cleanse in the morning, but I'm not sure if it's because of this cream or not.
ConsFor me, the biggest drawback is definitely the scent. The fragrance is certainly polarizing - I personally wasn't a fan.
TipIf you have a cream you're already using, I think it works well to mix them in a 1:1 ratio.

A pharmacist told me it's incredibly cheap for its concentration, so I bought it. For a 5000 won product, it's got a lot in it, but probably not enough to see significant effects. Still, it's generally usable.
ConsIt's mostly fine to use, but the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong. At first, I felt like I might throw up after applying it. I can't help but wonder why they added so much fragrance.

I prefer creams that don't feel oily, absorb quickly with a fresh and moisturizing feel! Scent: The best way to describe it is 'dad's aftershave'. It's like a masculine cologne scent you've smelled before, or perhaps a medicinal aroma? It's quite artificial and strong, so those with sensitive noses might find it overpowering. I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, so it was tolerable for me. Texture & Application: It's a slightly thick cream with a rich, nourishing texture. It spreads easily and moisturizes well, but feels a bit oily. As someone with oily-prone skin, I'm not a fan of products that leave any greasy residue, so this wasn't ideal for me. When my skin wasn't at its best, I'd apply it at night and wake up with excess oil and occasional small blemishes. It also causes pilling when applied under makeup. Effectiveness & Irritation: I bought this because I heard retinol helps with pores, but I'm not sure if it made a difference. Perhaps due to the low retinol content, there was no irritation, but also no noticeable effects. I'm now using the remainder on my neck. Since retinol is also good for wrinkles, it seems fine for neck application! It does provide good hydration too.
ConsIt's disappointing that I didn't see any results, and the slightly oily texture combined with the strong scent were drawbacks for me.
TipDespite the low retinol content, when used with The Hwahae Testers, it definitely caused irritation! Please don't use them together. I unknowingly used both and my skin reacted badly, becoming sensitive and red for a while.

That's incredible value! As someone who's used high-concentration retinol creams before, I didn't experience any irritation at all. I recommend using it after toner, followed by retinol serum, then this cream. It's not a thick, sticky cream, but rather has a fresh, lightweight feel.
Cons✓ Unpleasant scent ✓ Limited effect on pores The scent is quite artificial and cosmetic-like... it might be polarizing for some users. While I'll need to use it consistently to see long-term results, it doesn't seem to have a significant impact on pore elasticity. However, it's still a decent, affordable option for everyday use.

As a retinol beginner, I opted for a lower concentration and more affordable option. I'm pleased to report that I've been able to incorporate it into my daily routine without any noticeable side effects.
ConsDue to the low concentration, the effectiveness isn't particularly remarkable. Also, there's a somewhat medicinal scent that isn't very appealing.

No significant irritation even for sensitive skin... Maybe it's due to the low concentration that some say requires an adjustment period? 3. Not overly heavy texture Consistency feels like a middle ground between a hydrating and moisturizing cream Spreads incredibly well 4. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I felt a slight oiliness Might pill if applied before makeup
ConsThe scent is really... unpleasant... It's more of a medicinal smell rather than a cosmetic fragrance. Being sensitive to smells, I found this quite off-putting. It feels somewhat greasy, so I recommend using lighter products in your earlier skincare steps. If applied too heavily, it doesn't absorb well and seems to just sit on top of the skin.
Tip1. Apply in thin layers, building up gradually. I usually apply about 3 layers. 2. Since this is a retinol product, I'm a bit concerned about potential conflicts with other ingredients. Retinol is known to work well with ingredients famous for hydration and barrier support! e.g. peptides, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, panthenol, etc.

The hydration is good too. I need to use it more to be sure, but there's a big downside...
ConsThe scent is overwhelmingly masculine, which makes me hesitant to use it. Surprisingly, fragrance isn't even listed on the box.
TipDespite its moisturizing properties, the strong scent might be a deal-breaker for those sensitive to fragrances.
