I prefer creams that don't feel oily, absorb quickly with a fresh and moisturizing feel! Scent: The best way to describe it is 'dad's aftershave'. It's like a masculine cologne scent you've smelled before, or perhaps a medicinal aroma? It's quite artificial and strong, so those with sensitive noses might find it overpowering. I'm not particularly sensitive to scents, so it was tolerable for me. Texture & Application: It's a slightly thick cream with a rich, nourishing texture. It spreads easily and moisturizes well, but feels a bit oily. As someone with oily-prone skin, I'm not a fan of products that leave any greasy residue, so this wasn't ideal for me. When my skin wasn't at its best, I'd apply it at night and wake up with excess oil and occasional small blemishes. It also causes pilling when applied under makeup. Effectiveness & Irritation: I bought this because I heard retinol helps with pores, but I'm not sure if it made a difference. Perhaps due to the low retinol content, there was no irritation, but also no noticeable effects. I'm now using the remainder on my neck. Since retinol is also good for wrinkles, it seems fine for neck application! It does provide good hydration too.
ConsIt's disappointing that I didn't see any results, and the slightly oily texture combined with the strong scent were drawbacks for me.
TipDespite the low retinol content, when used with The Hwahae Testers, it definitely caused irritation! Please don't use them together. I unknowingly used both and my skin reacted badly, becoming sensitive and red for a while.

No significant irritation even for sensitive skin... Maybe it's due to the low concentration that some say requires an adjustment period? 3. Not overly heavy texture Consistency feels like a middle ground between a hydrating and moisturizing cream Spreads incredibly well 4. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I felt a slight oiliness Might pill if applied before makeup
ConsThe scent is really... unpleasant... It's more of a medicinal smell rather than a cosmetic fragrance. Being sensitive to smells, I found this quite off-putting. It feels somewhat greasy, so I recommend using lighter products in your earlier skincare steps. If applied too heavily, it doesn't absorb well and seems to just sit on top of the skin.
Tip1. Apply in thin layers, building up gradually. I usually apply about 3 layers. 2. Since this is a retinol product, I'm a bit concerned about potential conflicts with other ingredients. Retinol is known to work well with ingredients famous for hydration and barrier support! e.g. peptides, hyaluronic acid, ceramides, panthenol, etc.
