  Pros

  I was already familiar with Amélie's eyeshadows, so I knew about their pigmentation! Excited to try this, I applied it with a brush. After layering it a few times, it seemed to build up nicely. I hadn't looked closely at the powder before using it, but while doing my makeup, I noticed a subtle glow. Upon closer inspection, I realized it had fine shimmer particles! I loved that it wasn't overwhelming. Just remember, if you apply too much, the entire area might become luminous, so moderation is key for the best result.

  Cons

  The powder didn't seem to have long-lasting staying power. By the time I got home, there was only a bit of shimmer left, and it felt like my skin's natural oils were coming through. One downside was that there's no separate compartment for the puff, so you have to place it directly on the product. Because of this, I'd recommend using a brush when applying it at home.

  Tip

  This would be great to use when you want just the right amount of subtle shimmer, not too much!

  Pros

  This powder has more of a light lavender color rather than light pink. It has a subtle purple tint. Surprisingly, this helps to make the complexion look brighter and clearer. The shimmer is very fine and not excessive. As time passes, it allows just the right amount of natural oils to come through, maintaining a radiant look without making the skin tone appear dull. I love its compact design, making it perfect to carry when going out. It fits well even in small bags!

  Cons

  From my experience with the beige powder from the same brand, I noticed that being a baked powder, there are some cracks around the edges. After using it for several days, I've observed similar small cracks forming around the edges of this one too. There's also some excess powder that tends to fly off. Surprisingly, the puff tends to accumulate oil quickly. It would be nice if they included an extra one.

  Tip

  To avoid clumping, it's best to buff it in well at first, then adjust the amount by patting with your palm or fingertips. I recommend buying the 5-piece puff set available on Ameli's official website for convenience. The brush is just okay.
