Since I knew it was good, I applied it with a brush and found that it built up nicely with a few layers, creating a solid coverage. I had been using the powder without examining it closely, but as I was applying my makeup, I noticed a subtle glow - turns out there are micro-pearls in it as well! The amount was just right and not overpowering. Using too much can cause the entire applied area to become overly shimmery, so moderation is key for the best results.
ConsThe powder didn't seem to last very long. When I got home, there was still some pearl left, but it felt like the oil was coming through. There was no area to press the puff, so I had to apply it directly. I would recommend using a brush at home instead.
TipThis would be great to use when you want just the right amount of subtle pearl without going overboard!!

There is a purple hue to it. However, surprisingly, this helps to make the skin tone look a bit more refined and radiant. There is a very fine pearl finish, but it is not excessive. As time passes, an appropriate amount of oil comes through, but the skin tone does not look dull, and the radiance is maintained, which I liked. And the compact design means I always take it with me when I go out. It fits well even in a small bag!
ConsPersonally, when I used the beige-colored powder from the same brand, being a baked powder, there were cracks along the edges. After using it for a few days, I noticed the same small cracks appearing along the edges. And there is a bit of powder fallout. Surprisingly, the puff gets oily quite quickly. Adding one more puff would be helpful.
TipIf you gently pat and adjust the amount on your palm first before applying, it won't clump or anything. The Amelie brand sells a puff set of 5 on their website, which would be convenient to use. The brush is just so-so.
