For my preferred skin look, I favor a neat, powder-finished appearance rather than an ultra-dewy glow. That's why I always finish with powder, and this product is great for easy application. The case is also travel-friendly with its large mirror. Among the three Ameli powders I own (including white and violet), this is my most-used product. I was initially concerned it might look too white or shimmery, but it actually gives a lovely brightening effect and adds vitality to my complexion! It also controls oil well. With its ability to set makeup while providing a radiant, polished skin look, it's perfect for my needs.
ConsThe puff might get dirty quickly, and since it's not a washable type, it doesn't seem very cost-effective!
TipI find using a brush works best for applying all over the face, while the puff is great for spot-touching and blending in specific areas.

I had assumed it was just a powder, but I loved how it left my skin looking bright and matte. The subtle shimmer gave my complexion a beautiful glow that I really enjoyed!
ConsHowever, I wouldn't recommend this for those who like to apply powder all over their face. The shimmer is quite noticeable, and you might end up looking like you've applied highlighter everywhere. Also, like many other reviewers, I found the puff disappointing. It's too thin, doesn't pick up the powder well, and there's no separate compartment to store it, which raises hygiene concerns.

When I saw it available through The Hwahae Testers, I jumped at the chance to apply! After using it for a week, I totally understand why my friend praised it so much. • As soon as I got the product, I applied it with my fingers and it felt incredibly soft. The particles are extremely lightweight and fine. Whether you use the included puff or a brush, it doesn't clump at all when you pat it on. The powder is so finely milled and tightly packed that it should last a long time, as long as you don't accidentally drop it while carrying it around. • Despite having a cool complexion with a yellow undertone, when I apply this powder over my makeup, its light pink shade brightens my skin tone and makes it look more radiant. It really makes my skin look great... There's also a subtle shimmer that's not overwhelming, but gives a gentle glow. You'd have to look really closely to even notice the shimmer! • The case is absolutely gorgeous. It's the perfect size for carrying around too.
ConsThe included puff isn't as soft and plush as I'd like, and it's thinner compared to other powder puffs. When I first tried to apply the powder using my usual patting motion, it felt a bit harsh on my face.
TipI'm keeping the protective film and using it to store the puff on top of the powder. It seems like this might be a more hygienic way to use it!

It stays put even when you sweat or wear it for hours - no caking or sliding off.
ConsIt doesn't cover pores completely, so you might want to use a primer first. There's no protective barrier between the built-in puff and the product, so you'll need to be mindful of hygiene.
TipEven if you have yellow undertones, this can give you a cool-toned, healthy glow. It's perfect for pink makeup looks. As time passes, your natural oils actually blend with it, making it look even more natural. You only need to touch up once or twice for good coverage.

However, I'm a bit concerned it might be fragile and prone to shattering if dropped. Color: While the violet shade is well-known, this new light pink is just as radiant! As someone who adores shimmer, I'm thrilled with the subtle, delicate pearls in this product. It's perfect for those who want something between a powder and a highlighter. Ingredients: Despite having sensitive skin, I experienced no blemishes or irritation! Packaging: As someone who considers design when choosing cosmetics, I absolutely love the case! Unlike typical round plastic powder compacts, this one has a sleek, flat design that's both practical for carrying and less likely to slip from your hands. (Am I the only one who frequently drops round compacts?)
ConsPuff: The puff is quite firm and elastic, which causes the powder to clump. I think a softer, more pliable puff would be an improvement.
TipPro tip: Instead of using the included puff, try applying with a powder brush for a smooth, thin layer that adheres beautifully to your skin without clumping!

The pearl content is higher than expected, giving it a strong highlighter effect. When applied to the skin, it creates a nice luminous glow rather than a completely matte finish. It's perfect for those who love the 'Inner Glow' look but still want to set their makeup with powder. It also has a brightening effect, which could be great for yellow or dull complexions. Despite the shimmer, it applies smoothly without emphasizing pores or creating patchiness. Just remember to use a moderate amount, as overdoing it can lead to caking with any powder.
ConsWhen applied all over the face, it can make you look like you're covered in shimmer in low light conditions. The pearl effect is much more noticeable than I anticipated, so it might be better suited as a highlighter rather than an all-over setting powder. Also, the puff that comes with it is disappointing, which seems to be a common complaint in reviews. I understood why as soon as I tried it - it's too thin and doesn't pick up the powder well. Plus, there's no separate compartment for the puff, so you have to store it separately, which is quite inconvenient.

The light pink shade of the powder itself is a major plus, as it brightens up dull complexions overall, giving you that radiant look! Being a baked powder, it's less drying than regular powder products and has significantly less excess. It sits incredibly thin on the skin, which I absolutely love. It truly allows for that soft-focus, 'cloud-like' makeup look! As for Ameli's packaging, it goes without saying, but I adore how simple and pretty it is. Its compact size fits perfectly in your hand, making it super convenient for on-the-go touch-ups.
ConsI had a hunch the included puff wouldn't be great based on reviews, and sure enough, it tends to cake up the product when applied. Considering you can't store the puff in the case and its durability seems questionable, it doesn't seem particularly necessary.
TipWhile using a brush to apply powder is quite common, for this particular powder, I highly recommend using a brush. It allows for an even thinner and more uniform application, giving you that flawless finish.

This product's standout features are its color correction and fine pearl particles. The powder is incredibly fine-milled. During my recent university finals week, I was too lazy for a full face of makeup and just used sunscreen with powder. This product worked wonderfully. It naturally evens skin tone, and for a powder, it's not drying. Even after hours of wear, I didn't experience any deep dryness. However, I wouldn't consider it a full-setting powder. My usual go-to is the Banila Co Primer Powder, which is really drying. It keeps makeup in place all day on oily areas like the T-zone, but emphasizes dead skin cells around drier areas like the eyes and nose. The Ameli product isn't as drying, providing a more natural-looking finish. I loved how it didn't emphasize flakiness or cause dryness over time. Plus, the packaging is so compact and pretty - totally my style!
ConsThe included puff applies the product too heavily. Using a brush gives a more even and beautiful application.
TipIt's best to apply with a brush.

It's perfect for highlighting and gives a natural, radiant glow that seems to seep into the skin. When caught in lighting or sunlight, the subtle pink beam creates an elegant effect. The color is a beautiful blend between pink and light purple. Unfortunately, photos don't do it justice - I tried to capture it in a video but couldn't upload it here.
ConsThe puff that comes with Ameli is a bit disappointing. When applying with the puff, it tends to create a slightly cakey finish.
TipFor best results, use this as a highlighter rather than on its own.

It has a subtle purple tint. Surprisingly, this helps to make the complexion look brighter and clearer. The shimmer is very fine and not excessive. As time passes, it allows just the right amount of natural oils to come through, maintaining a radiant look without making the skin tone appear dull. I love its compact design, making it perfect to carry when going out. It fits well even in small bags!
ConsFrom my experience with the beige powder from the same brand, I noticed that being a baked powder, there are some cracks around the edges. After using it for several days, I've observed similar small cracks forming around the edges of this one too. There's also some excess powder that tends to fly off. Surprisingly, the puff tends to accumulate oil quickly. It would be nice if they included an extra one.
TipTo avoid clumping, it's best to buff it in well at first, then adjust the amount by patting with your palm or fingertips. I recommend buying the 5-piece puff set available on Ameli's official website for convenience. The brush is just okay.
