This would be perfect for those with oily skin types.
ConsAs someone with extremely dry and sensitive skin, I found this product a bit harsh. With its capsules and four different types of exfoliants, it was quite irritating for me. After washing, my skin felt quite parched.
TipI'd recommend this for those with oily skin and a strong skin barrier.

It has a subtle tea tree scent that's not overpowering, which I really like! 2. Since it's also a mask, my skin feels incredibly hydrated after cleansing, with no deep dryness at all! (I'm using it more as a moisturizing cleansing balm that effectively removes dead skin cells rather than as a mask!) 3. When I scoop it out with the spoon, it seems quite thick, but once I apply it to my face, it spreads smoothly and has a pleasantly rich texture that absorbs well. I'm very satisfied!
Cons1. As many people have mentioned, the packaging could be improved. Having to unscrew the lid and use a spoon is a bit inconvenient. There's no designated spot for the spoon, so it's easy to misplace. I wonder why they didn't opt for a tube format, which would eliminate the need for a spoon entirely and be much more user-friendly. 2. The small granules in the product might be slightly irritating for those with super sensitive skin! (However, this is somewhat unavoidable with scrub products, and compared to others, it's not particularly harsh, so I think it's okay!)
TipAlthough this is a cleansing product, I recommend doing a light first cleanse before using it! It doesn't remove eye makeup very effectively.

It has a very wholesome aroma that really lifted my mood! The fragrance is reminiscent of a mild mint toothpaste - a subtle, refreshing scent that I found quite pleasant. The texture is similar to a cleansing balm, but with small granules mixed in. What's interesting is that when you add water and massage it, it transforms into a foam-like consistency, much like a cleansing foam! It produces a generous amount of lather, comparable to a regular cleansing foam, which suggests good cleansing effectiveness. I appreciate that the small particles in the balm seem to provide gentle exfoliation. This means you don't have to worry about separately addressing dead skin cells, which is a nice bonus.
ConsThere are more of these tiny granules than I expected, so if you have super sensitive skin, frequent use might potentially cause some irritation.
TipIn my experience, it seems to cleanse well and offer some exfoliation benefits. I've been using it every 2-3 days or on days when I've worn heavy makeup or touched up frequently, as part of my skin care routine.

Scent: It has a tea tree aroma! It feels more like an herbal scent rather than a refreshing one. I don't think it will be too polarizing. Consistency: It's closer to a cleansing balm texture rather than being thick and chewy like gelato!
ConsApplication: Due to the scrub particles, it can be irritating if you massage it for too long like other cleansing products. Packaging: It's not convenient to store the spatula.

It produces a rich, abundant lather. 2. A little goes a long way, so it'll last for ages. 3. As a tea tree scent lover, I'm all for it! 4. It comes with a spatula.
Cons1. While they provide a spatula, it's tricky to store and might end up tossed after a few uses. I wish it came in a squeeze tube with a wide nozzle instead of a jar - that would be so much more convenient. 2. Even after rinsing it off as a mask, it felt like I still had cleansing foam on my face. 3. It might be a bit harsh for daily use on sensitive, acne-prone skin. I'd recommend it more as a special care treatment!
TipThe scrub effect leaves your skin feeling refreshed. Follow up with a sheet mask or modeling mask, and your skin will drink it right up! Using a bubble net to create ample foam helps reduce irritation during cleansing.

Even eyeliner comes off when I massage it with the foam. The inner eye area is trickier to clean, so you might need to use a cotton swab or makeup remover first, but it easily removes eyeliner on the lash line and wings. It cleanses well without over-drying, and the tiny particles provide gentle exfoliation, leaving skin soft after washing. You might not even need a separate exfoliator! If the small particles feel a bit harsh sometimes, just wet your hands and rub them together - problem solved! It also lathers up nicely, making cleansing a breeze.
ConsI wish the packaging had a squeeze bottle instead - it would've been more convenient to use. I usually wash my hands before cleansing, but when my hands are wet, it's hard to spread the product. Also, the exfoliating particles were a bit harsh for my skin, which is disappointing.
TipIf the particles feel a bit harsh, just wet your hands and rub them together - they'll soften up. It also creates a rich lather! Cleansing with the foam works even better!

This product can be used as both a mask and a cleanser in one. It comes in a jar and needs to be applied with a spatula, which might be a bit inconvenient for daily cleansing. With tea tree as the main ingredient, it has a refreshing tea tree scent that makes you feel like it's cleaning more effectively. It has small particles that can help with dead skin cell removal when gently massaged during cleansing. Containing AHA, BHA, PHA, and LHA, it seems great for oily skin types dealing with excess sebum, dead skin cells, and oiliness. I liked that it didn't leave my skin feeling too dry after rinsing, but maintained a nice level of hydration.
ConsThe jar packaging makes application a bit cumbersome. However, if you're using it once or twice a week for maintenance, it should be fine. Those with super sensitive skin should use caution as it may cause irritation!

Skin Texture: This is what I found most impressive about this product! My skin texture became noticeably smoother! I think with consistent use, this soft skin texture could be maintained.
ConsJar Packaging: It would be best if it came in a squeeze tube. If not, it would be nice to have a place to store the spatula. Slightly Irritating: The scrub particles are present and not very fine, so it was a bit irritating for my skin.
TipFor sensitive or blemish-prone skin, it might be better to use this once or twice a week initially, monitoring your skin's reaction before increasing frequency. In my case, after using it as a mask, I applied a cool aloe gel for about 10 minutes, then rinsed it off with water before continuing with my skincare routine. This method worked well for me!

I've been using this product for about a week, and I'm happy to report that I didn't experience any uncomfortable irritation or burning sensation. It felt gentle and soothing on my skin. With the weather suddenly heating up, my skin had been producing excess oil, leading to clogged pores and a breakout of blemishes due to wearing makeup. Ugh! The most noticeable effects were in oil control and blackhead reduction. I focused on rolling it around my nose area, and after rinsing, I was thrilled to see a significant lightening of my blackheads. I'm very satisfied with the results! This will definitely be my go-to product for managing oily skin and blackheads throughout the summer.
ConsOne potential drawback is that the exfoliating particles in the product might be a bit harsh for those with super sensitive skin, as it provides physical exfoliation. For these individuals, I'd recommend applying it to slightly damp skin and gently rolling it on for a milder effect.
TipI found that spending a bit more time rolling the product on areas where excess oil is a concern really helps to dissolve sebum more effectively.

The cleansing effectiveness is great, removing most makeup. (I don't wear heavy makeup, so that might be why.) Still, double cleansing is a must for eye makeup! 2. The tea tree ingredient works well for me, so I didn't experience any blemishes. The scent is also pleasant. 3. I personally love that squeaky clean feeling after washing, and this delivers! As I have oily skin, products that leave me feeling too moisturized make me feel like there's residual oil. This doesn't do that, which I appreciate. 4. It's thick, but becomes soft when it comes in contact with water. 5. The granules seem like they'd help with dead skin cell removal.
Cons1. Cleansing is a daily routine, but using this every day feels too cumbersome. 2. The granules might be too harsh for sensitive skin to use daily. 3. It's not very hygienic. I think I would have used it more if it came in a tube format.
