Upon reflection, I realized that the strong tea tree scent is similar to many other tea tree products I've encountered. Personally, I enjoy this natural fragrance. The texture is more like a cream or balm, rather than the dense, gelato-like consistency one might expect. It has a soft, spreadable quality, almost like a gentle bar soap. It cleanses my skin refreshingly, and a small amount is sufficient for cleansing. It feels like using a facial mask and cleanser simultaneously, which I find quite pleasant.
ConsThe scent may be disliked by some. The tea tree fragrance is not subtle, but rather has a strong, pronounced presence that could be overbearing for some. Additionally, the balm-like texture, while moisturizing, can feel a bit heavy when used without water. It's probably best not to use it for an extended period.

The texture: It was in a solid form! You can scoop it out with a spatula to use. The lather was nicely dense and thick. And it has some granules in it. Fragrance: The tea tree scent is not too strong, so it seems like anyone can use it without much preference. Usage: I thought it would make my skin super squeaky clean after using it, but it wasn't that intense. However, using it daily might irritate the skin, so that's something to be cautious about.
ConsThe size of the included spatula was quite large, so I had to store it separately. This was a bit inconvenient. As for making the lather, I tried using one of those lather makers from the dollar store, but the dense lather felt a bit suffocating to me. This isn't a big issue if you make the lather by hand, as it will be lighter, but you should find the method that works best for you. After cleansing, my skin felt smooth, but I'm not sure if it was very effective for blackheads. Checking the ingredients on Hwahae, there are 5 components that may not be great for sensitive skin, so very sensitive individuals should double-check.
TipIf you really like that dense, creamy lather, you might want to try using one of those lather maker products (the pink one shown in the picture). The first one is just lather made by hand, and the next one is the lather made with the pink lather maker product.
