I wanted to try a cleansing milk.
As I have oily skin, I needed a product with good cleansing power.
This product is a balm-to-milk type, so I bought it because it was said to have good cleansing power, and in the end, I was satisfied.
At first, I was worried whether I was cleaning properly and if I should do a second cleansing, so I wiped my face with the Bioderma cleansing water, but nothing came off and it was all cleansed.
I thought it was too gentle, so I was worried if the cleansing was done properly.
So I massage and emulsify with this and wash it off well, and I don't do a second cleansing separately.

For years, I've been using cleansing oil exclusively, but I tried the Cleansing Milk Balm from Hwahae, the brand I trust. 
I don't usually like to change products because of my skin type, but I've been stressed for years due to persistent dehydration, so I thought the oil might be the problem and decided to try something new.
Turns out, the cleansing oil was indeed the culprit. It's not that oil is inherently bad, but I was so determined to remove all the sebum that I would scrub my skin excessively, which ended up really damaging it.
Switching to this Cleansing Milk Balm is much gentler, so the dehydration has improved significantly. I'm so grateful - Hwahae's product not only cleanses gently but also effectively removes sebum without much effort. I'm going to use this forever!

I wish it came in a larger size. I hope they release a high-capacity version as well.

The cleansing power is good and it applies smoothly. There is no tightness after cleansing.

Using it always requires removing and replacing the plastic cover, which can be a bit of a hassle.

Among the cleansing balms I've tried, the one with the best finish and feel was great. When you first massage it onto your face, then add water and massage again, and then rinse it off, it leaves you feeling so refreshed.
I'd recommend this to those with dry or oily skin types.

Hwahae oil is more effective at removing blackheads than cleansing oil, so it's best to pay extra attention to rolling the nose area when washing your face!

Though I've been using it generously, the product is not the best value for the price. It would be great if a larger size product was released!

I first encountered and used the Hwahae Instagram group purchase through Ms. Joy. Previously, as I have oily skin, I always did a double cleanse with 'cleansing oil + mildly alkaline foam cleanser'. I was worried that using just the Hwahae Milk Balm for cleansing would cause breakouts, but the cleansing power is sufficient and my skin actually feels more comfortable. Waterproof mascara (I'm currently using the Holika Holika mascara) and heavy eye makeup also get removed cleanly. I have one at my parents' home as well, and even my mom, who has dry skin, is extremely satisfied with it!

Using a sponge or cleansing sponge allows for a more thorough Hwahae!

if you don't properly roll or cleanse, there may be cases where mascara or pearl doesn't get removed as thoroughly! you'll need to wipe it off carefully!

I have trouble-prone, sensitive skin!

1. Usage experience
It feels great - it has just the right amount of moisturizing, effectively removes sebum, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth! It's not that the cleansing power is poor or that it causes skin troubles, so it's extremely comfortable and pleasant to use.

2. Cleansing power
It's an all-in-one product that can remove mascara, eyeliner, and even glitter! I used to find it such a hassle to do eye and lip makeup removal, cleansing oil, and cleansing foam at home, but this product can handle lip and eye makeup removal as well as cleansing oil, and there's no residue left on my face, which is great! As long as you use it properly, it's an incredibly convenient product.

3. Texture
The balm-like texture makes it easy to control the amount and convenient to store. There's little risk of it running down my arms or dripping into my eyes while using it, which I really appreciate.

4. Post-use moisturization
I sometimes found cleansing oils too heavy and cleansing waters too drying, but this product provides just the right amount of moisturization, leaving my skin feeling as comfortable as after applying a moisturizer.

5. Sebum removal
Diligent rolling action helps draw out the sebum, and with consistent use, I can feel my nose area gradually becoming cleaner.

In my opinion, there does not seem to be any shortcomings yet.

As someone who regularly uses Hwahae Cleansing Milk or the plain mung bean line, I find this product to be incredibly innovative and appealing.
As soon as the balm touches the skin, it transforms into a milk texture, and there is no irritation at all when rolling it on.
During and after use, there is no irritation, and the cleansing power is strong, so double cleansing is unnecessary - this product alone can complete the cleansing step in one go.

I'm a bit concerned about the hygiene when using a spatula. It's more of a hassle than just squeezing and applying.

So far, it removes sebum better than the cleansing oils I've used. It's less slippery and has a softer feel compared to cleansing oils. Although it's a solid, it melts into a liquid-like texture when applied.

It's best to keep the white cover on and leave it in place.
