But this milk balm gently melts at skin temperature, effectively removes makeup, and feels like it's drawing out sebum and dead skin cells without irritation! It's truly a life-quality improving product.
ConsThere's a scooping spoon-like tool inside the lid, but the support that holds it in place is a bit weak. It's a bit inconvenient when the tool falls onto the milk balm when closing the lid.
TipThe milk balm cleanser seems to be a gentle yet effective alternative to traditional oil cleansers, particularly suitable for those with sensitive skin or those prone to irritation. It appears to offer a thorough cleanse without the need for harsh scrubbing, which can be beneficial for maintaining skin health. The product's ability to melt at skin temperature suggests it might be easy to use and comfortable to apply. However, the packaging design could be improved to prevent the applicator from falling into the product, which could potentially compromise hygiene and ease of use.

I know that oil is the best at removing oily sebum, and it's the most effective for sebum removal! I've tried sebum-controlling products, but they just irritate my skin without really removing the sebum. I've used about 3 different cleansing balms in my life, but they didn't remove the sebum well and even caused more breakouts. For the past 3 months, I've fallen in love with the Beplain Milk Balm... - Its texture is heavier than oil cleansers, so it seems to remove sebum very effectively - It requires fewer rounds of massaging compared to oil cleansers, so it feels less irritating - There's still some residue left after the first cleanse, but it's much lighter than the oily residue from oil cleansers - After the second cleanse, my skin feels smooth and supple! While oil cleansers just feel like shampooing, the Milk Balm leaves a treatment-like finish. - And I haven't experienced any breakouts. I've tried many oil cleansers, but this is the first time I've found a product that I like better than oils, so I couldn't help but write a review.
ConsThe amount is too small... It's probably because I use it a lot, but I'd like if you could increase the amount.. But then the price would go up, right? As with the cleansing balm, the jar-type container that needs to be scooped out is disappointing. The inconvenience of having to wash the spatula every time and carefully manage not to lose the inner lid is... The cleansing power does seem to be a bit less than oil. I'd recommend using the lip and eye remover first, and then using it for mascara removal!
TipThis also requires an emulsification process just like the cleansing oil!

Previously, as I have oily skin, I always did a double cleanse with 'cleansing oil + mildly alkaline foam cleanser'. I was worried that using just the cleansing balm might cause blemishes, but it's actually quite effective at cleansing and leaves my skin feeling more comfortable. It even removes waterproof mascara (I use Holika Holika mascara) and heavy eye makeup cleanly. I've also left one at my parents' house, and my mom, who has dry skin, is extremely satisfied with it!
ConsAs I tend to use it generously, it's not exactly a budget-friendly product in terms of price-to-performance ratio. It would be great if they released a larger size version!
TipI feel it's even more effective at removing blackheads than cleansing oil, so it's beneficial to pay extra attention to rolling it on the nose area while cleansing!

Texture It's wonderfully moisturizing, effectively removes sebum, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth! The cleansing effectiveness is great without causing any skin irritation, making it incredibly comfortable to use! 2. Cleansing power This is a multi-tasking marvel that even removes mascara, eyeliner, and glitter! I used to dread going through lip and eye remover, cleansing oil, and foam cleanser after coming home, but this product alone takes care of everything from lip and eye makeup to oil cleansing, leaving no residue on my face! If you use it correctly, it's an incredibly convenient product! 3. Formula The cleansing balm-like texture makes it easy to control the amount and store. I love that it doesn't drip down my arms or get into my eyes while using it! 4. Post-cleanse hydration I've found cleansing oils too heavy and cleansing waters too drying, but this product leaves my skin feeling comfortably moisturized, as if I've applied a hydrating cream! 5. Sebum removal When I massage it thoroughly, I can feel the sebum being drawn out. With consistent use, I notice my nose becoming cleaner and clearer!
ConsIf you don't massage or emulsify it properly, mascara or glitter might not be completely removed! You need to be thorough with your cleansing!
TipUsing a cleansing sponge or konjac sponge can help you achieve an even more thorough cleanse!

Oh wow, it definitely cleanses better than the oil! As someone who's used the mung bean oil before, I'd highly recommend the balm instead. While it doesn't magically remove all blackheads, it's noticeably more effective than the oil, and it's great for whiteheads too. It's also fantastic for removing makeup! I gently massaged it on my eyes, and it easily removed my mascara. From now on, I'm switching from the oil to this balm. I'm absolutely thrilled with it!
ConsThe fact that you can't touch it with wet hands... And since you need to massage it in before emulsifying, it's quite tricky to use in the shower...
TipAfter exfoliating, gently massaging with this cleansing balm helps remove sebum even more effectively.

Gentle Despite my oily skin concerns, even when I took time to massage it, I didn't feel any burning or irritation. I believe the product was intentionally formulated for sensitive skin, and it seems they've succeeded in that goal. Even with extended massaging, there's no irritation, making it suitable for those with super sensitive skin. 2. Product Innovation A cleansing milk that transforms into a balm... As soon as I saw it, I thought, 'Oh my, I must have this!' and bought it right away. Additional note: I'd recommend this to those with sensitive skin who are concerned about excess oil but don't have large blackheads or whiteheads, and who rarely wear makeup. If foam cleansers are too drying for you, this could be a good option. Regarding its cleansing effectiveness, it's actually my first time using a cleansing milk, and I was surprised that it wasn't as effective as I expected. More details below...
ConsCleansing Effectiveness Apparently, this was only sold in Japan before being introduced to Korea... Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I tested it on waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and eyebrow products, and it only removed about 70% of the makeup. (Of course, I spent adequate time massaging and emulsifying. Naturally, we'd use an eye makeup remover for these, but still...) If you're feeling lazy, this product alone won't be enough to remove your makeup completely. Moreover, compared to other products I've used, it didn't seem to effectively remove excess oil, which left me feeling uncomfortable. It doesn't seem suitable for those with oilier skin like mine. Texture and Feel Whether I rinse with lukewarm or warm water after using this product, I always feel a slick, oily residue at the end, which I personally don't prefer. It seems to necessitate double cleansing, but the issue is that even after double cleansing, while the slickness disappears, the excess oil remains unmanaged. (If you're going to use a cleansing oil for oil control after using an oil-based cleanser, there's really no reason to use this product...) Additional note: It's not that it doesn't remove any excess oil at all! There's just a lot left behind... for me at least. Even I was able to remove oil effectively when using cleansing balms or oils...
TipIf you're looking for a gentle product, I recommend this one. However, double cleansing seems essential when using it.

However, I felt like there were still some makeup residues left, so I decided to try this product after hearing about its effective cleansing power. I must say, it really does remove makeup well! On days when I only wore sunscreen, one application of this cleansing milk balm was enough for a thorough cleanse. Even on days when I wore cushion foundation, just two applications did the trick.
ConsThe balm format is slightly less convenient compared to pump-type cleansers, and it can be a bit tricky to control the amount you use. Oh, and the scent initially reminded me of cooking oil, which was a bit off-putting. But I got used to it eventually, and it's not so bad now.

It's still quite popular on Instagram, Olive Young, and Hwahae. I trust B.plane products, so I decided to give it a try again. Just like the reviews say, it gently removes dead skin cells and doesn't leave my skin feeling dry afterwards, which is great. I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily on my chin if I use the wrong product, but I didn't have any issues with this. If you massage it for a longer time, it's also effective at removing stubborn dead skin cells, so it's a convenient way to exfoliate without needing other treatments. Since I use it daily, I'll probably go through the product quickly, even though there's a decent amount.
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked about it. I was particularly impressed that even when I rubbed it around my eyes for a while, there was no stinging sensation.

The texture transforms into a cleansing milk, making it easy to emulsify. As you massage it in, you can feel it drawing out sebum.
ConsThe quantity is a bit small for the price. I'd love to make this my go-to product, but the cost is a bit steep.
TipAfter applying the product, if you massage it for about a minute, you can feel the sebum being drawn out. It's great for taking care of both sebum and dead skin cells as an added bonus!

I used to find twisting caps to open and close annoying, but this product is easy to open and close. Plus, the spatula is attached to the lid, making it super user-friendly. - It's incredibly gentle with excellent cleansing effectiveness. It effortlessly removes heavy base makeup and even tints (except waterproof products), which is so convenient. The texture is between a cleansing balm and cleansing milk, making it incredibly soft and lightweight.
Cons- I haven't really noticed any downsides while using this product so far.
