I'm on my second jar, and it's the ultimate cleansing balm for sensitive, blemish-prone skin. There's zero irritation, the quantity is surprisingly generous, and it cleanses incredibly well. You absolutely must try it! I've found my holy grail cleanser with this one.
ConsAs you get close to finishing the product, the built-in spatula doesn't stay attached very well and keeps feeling like it's about to fall off.
TipI'm a fan of thorough cleansing, so after using this cleansing balm, I follow up with B.plain's Mung Bean Cleansing Foam. This double-cleanse routine really helps achieve that perfectly clean skin.

I know that oil is the best at removing oily sebum, and it's the most effective for sebum removal! I've tried sebum-controlling products, but they just irritate my skin without really removing the sebum. I've used about 3 different cleansing balms in my life, but they didn't remove the sebum well and even caused more breakouts. For the past 3 months, I've fallen in love with the Beplain Milk Balm... - Its texture is heavier than oil cleansers, so it seems to remove sebum very effectively - It requires fewer rounds of massaging compared to oil cleansers, so it feels less irritating - There's still some residue left after the first cleanse, but it's much lighter than the oily residue from oil cleansers - After the second cleanse, my skin feels smooth and supple! While oil cleansers just feel like shampooing, the Milk Balm leaves a treatment-like finish. - And I haven't experienced any breakouts. I've tried many oil cleansers, but this is the first time I've found a product that I like better than oils, so I couldn't help but write a review.
ConsThe amount is too small... It's probably because I use it a lot, but I'd like if you could increase the amount.. But then the price would go up, right? As with the cleansing balm, the jar-type container that needs to be scooped out is disappointing. The inconvenience of having to wash the spatula every time and carefully manage not to lose the inner lid is... The cleansing power does seem to be a bit less than oil. I'd recommend using the lip and eye remover first, and then using it for mascara removal!
TipThis also requires an emulsification process just like the cleansing oil!

ConsThe only downside is that it comes in a jar, so you need to use a tool to apply it, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Unlike oil cleansers, you don't have to worry much about emulsification, which makes it so convenient to use. Definitely a plus in my book!
ConsThe only slight drawback is that it comes in a jar due to its balm-like texture, but that's just the nature of the formula, so it's not really a big issue.

It's less slippery and feels gentler than typical oils. Though it starts as a solid, it melts into a liquid-like consistency when applied.
ConsI'm a bit concerned about hygiene since it requires a spatula. It's also more cumbersome to use compared to products you can simply squeeze out.

Then I discovered this milk balm cleanser, and it's been a game-changer! → No need for a separate makeup remover → Being a milk formula, it's suitable even for oily skin types → Gentle and less irritating Pro tip: Start by massaging it onto dry skin, then add water and emulsify for at least 30 seconds for best results!
ConsThe jar packaging might raise some hygiene concerns, but given the unique formula, it seems unavoidable!
TipKeep the white lid on to maintain freshness and cleanliness.

I love that it has gentle ingredients. It comes with a spatula, which is great for hygiene, and you can even attach it to the lid - though it occasionally falls off if not secured properly. The texture is creamy, and it melts smoothly on your skin when you warm it up in your hands. It emulsifies well and seems to have good cleansing effectiveness. Being a milk cleansing balm, it leaves your skin feeling different from a foaming cleanser. Instead of that squeaky-clean feeling, it leaves a smooth, slightly rich finish. If you have super sensitive skin or don't like that rich feeling, I'd recommend a cleansing water instead of this product! ***** I wanted to add a satisfied update after using this product! Before using this, my routine involved using a lip and eye remover first, then cleansing oil, followed by a foaming cleanser. With this product, one step is enough!!! I use waterproof mascara, and one time I forgot to use my usual remover and just used this milk cleansing balm. When I finished washing my face and went to use the remover, I realized the mascara was already gone!?!? It seems I don't even need a separate lip and eye remover anymore - this cleansing balm is sufficient. When I feel I need extra cleansing, I follow up with a foaming cleanser. For any tiny bits of eyeshadow left near the eye area, I just use a cotton swab. I'm really satisfied with this cleanser!
ConsThe jar packaging is a bit inconvenient compared to pump bottles for oils or squeeze tubes for foaming cleansers. Having to open the lid and use the spatula each time is a bit of a hassle. However, given its gentle ingredients and good performance, I plan to keep using it.
TipTo use, open the lid and scoop out about a 100 won coin size amount for heavy makeup, or a 50 won coin size for bare face cleansing. Place it on your palm. Rub it between your hands to melt it into a milky texture. Apply it all over your face, then gradually add water to emulsify it. Once it's somewhat dissolved, rinse thoroughly with water - at least 10 splashes. I sometimes use just the milk balm, but if you feel like you need more cleansing, follow up with a foaming cleanser.

My skin is super sensitive, and if I use the wrong cleansing product, it goes completely haywire. But this one is gentle and cleanses effectively.
ConsHmm... the only downside? The spatula keeps falling off. Other than that, I had no issues at all.
TipTry rolling it intensively on areas with excess sebum. You'll see the oil come out.
