I really loved how milky it was, but when mixed it's not just a balm, it's like a whole oily routine! I think it would've been even better if it came in a twist-up format...! The product's milky texture is appealing, but its consistency changes when mixed with other products. While the current packaging works, a twist-up format could potentially improve ease of use and application. - on******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 10, 2025
I'd like to highlight two main points: 1. Performance It effectively removes makeup, leaving skin clean. I feel like about 10% remains, especially with sunscreen. That's why I usually follow up with a second cleanse. 2. Spoon Provided & Hygienic Spoon Holder The spoon holder design really impressed me. While it's common to have a spoon that fits into the top of the container, this one has an inward-folding part that securely holds the spoon in place. This deserves praise. I've had issues with some products where the spoon doesn't stay put, which can be quite inconvenient. Since then, how well a product secures its spoon or spatula has become a deciding factor in whether I like it or not. 1. Blemishes I heard it was less irritating than oil cleansers, but maybe because I have super sensitive skin and a damaged skin barrier, I experienced some blemishes after using this... It just seems like an average product to me. - aa****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJun 1, 2025
Its cleansing effectiveness is so good that it removes even mascara completely. I expected it to be gentle since it's a milk cleanser, but perhaps due to its strong cleansing power, it's not as non-irritating as I thought. It's good for use only when wearing full makeup. The product effectively cleanses while potentially causing some skin sensitivity. It's particularly useful for removing heavy makeup, but may not be suitable for daily use on sensitive skin. - jh****Dry SkinRecommendedMay 29, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is great! Even after washing, my skin doesn't feel dry, so it's especially good for those with dry skin. Since it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after cleansing, sometimes I wonder if I've cleaned my face thoroughly enough. - z5********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 28, 2025
When I use oil for cleansing, my skin temperature rises a lot, and I hate the feeling of oil residue even after wiping it off, so I end up scrubbing with cleansing foam. But this milk balm gently melts at skin temperature, effectively removes makeup, and feels like it's drawing out sebum and dead skin cells without irritation! It's truly a life-quality improving product. There's a scooping spoon-like tool inside the lid, but the support that holds it in place is a bit weak. It's a bit inconvenient when the tool falls onto the milk balm when closing the lid. The milk balm cleanser seems to be a gentle yet effective alternative to traditional oil cleansers, particularly suitable for those with sensitive skin or those prone to irritation. It appears to offer a thorough cleanse without the need for harsh scrubbing, which can be beneficial for maintaining skin health. The product's ability to melt at skin temperature suggests it might be easy to use and comfortable to apply. However, the packaging design could be improved to prevent the applicator from falling into the product, which could potentially compromise hygiene and ease of use. - rh*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 27, 2025
I absolutely adore this product! I'm on my second jar, and it's the ultimate cleansing balm for sensitive, blemish-prone skin. There's zero irritation, the quantity is surprisingly generous, and it cleanses incredibly well. You absolutely must try it! I've found my holy grail cleanser with this one. As you get close to finishing the product, the built-in spatula doesn't stay attached very well and keeps feeling like it's about to fall off. I'm a fan of thorough cleansing, so after using this cleansing balm, I follow up with B.plain's Mung Bean Cleansing Foam. This double-cleanse routine really helps achieve that perfectly clean skin. - yo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2025
Holy moly, this stuff even wipes away Kiss Me mascara completely. It's absolutely incredible! Getting the product out isn't exactly a walk in the park... Opening the inner protective lid, scooping it out, and closing it again is a bit of a hassle. But since it's reduced my cleansing routine from triple to double cleansing, I can let it slide. - tn*******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I really liked the unique packaging - it made for a clean and tidy application experience. The texture was a bit disappointing as it left a residual feeling on my face after use. - ji********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 20, 2025
Even though it's milk-based, since it's a night-time formula, it removes even waterproof mascara well, which I like. It's gentle and moisturizing, and good for removing makeup all at once. I'd recommend it to those who want to try a new cleansing product. i wish the price was a bit more affordable. it seems burdensome to continue using it. - rl********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 19, 2025
I have extremely oily skin and my pores produce a lot of sebum, so I regularly do oil cleansing even without wearing makeup. I know that oil is the best at removing oily sebum, and it's the most effective for sebum removal! I've tried sebum-controlling products, but they just irritate my skin without really removing the sebum. I've used about 3 different cleansing balms in my life, but they didn't remove the sebum well and even caused more breakouts. For the past 3 months, I've fallen in love with the Beplain Milk Balm... - Its texture is heavier than oil cleansers, so it seems to remove sebum very effectively - It requires fewer rounds of massaging compared to oil cleansers, so it feels less irritating - There's still some residue left after the first cleanse, but it's much lighter than the oily residue from oil cleansers - After the second cleanse, my skin feels smooth and supple! While oil cleansers just feel like shampooing, the Milk Balm leaves a treatment-like finish. - And I haven't experienced any breakouts. I've tried many oil cleansers, but this is the first time I've found a product that I like better than oils, so I couldn't help but write a review. The amount is too small... It's probably because I use it a lot, but I'd like if you could increase the amount.. But then the price would go up, right? As with the cleansing balm, the jar-type container that needs to be scooped out is disappointing. The inconvenience of having to wash the spatula every time and carefully manage not to lose the inner lid is... The cleansing power does seem to be a bit less than oil. I'd recommend using the lip and eye remover first, and then using it for mascara removal! This also requires an emulsification process just like the cleansing oil!
