It lathers up nicely, and while some mentioned a tingling sensation, it's not bothersome enough to worry about. I'm not sure about its effectiveness. After using it for a month, I didn't notice any significant changes. It's available in department stores, and pharmacists recommend it for its effectiveness and low irritation potential, which is why I applied for it! As someone with combination dehydrated and super sensitive skin, I was particularly drawn to this product because it claims to exclude allergens and harmful ingredients. This gave me confidence and high expectations even before using it. My skin is so sensitive that even using just Riddle Shot from the Spicule line can cause blemishes, but knowing this product has passed low-irritation tests gave me peace of mind. Despite being a cell turnover product, I felt no irritation at all. Usually, when removing dead skin cells, there can be some discomfort, but this product had zero side effects. The needle-shaped Spicules are 100% pure natural extracts from deep-sea sponges, free of impurities. They penetrate the skin to help with exfoliation and pore cleansing, leaving the skin texture smooth! Apparently, it's a material often used in dermatology clinics for peeling treatments? That certainly boosts its credibility! With all the hype around products like Riddle Shot these days, Spicule seems to be a natural option that's great for those with sensitive skin to use without worry. As you can see in the photo, the texture doesn't flow at all and feels a bit stiff. Like A*de, Cen* Perfect Whip Foam Cleanser, or most deep cleansers, you need to mix it with water to properly apply it to your face. Also, I found the scent to be quite strong for my liking. While it has a herbal or medicinal scent that isn't off-putting, it's more intense than subtle. Due to its thick consistency, first mix the product with lukewarm water and gently massage it onto your skin. You might feel a slight tingling sensation from the Spicules, but that's just the natural process of dead skin cells being removed. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes, so there's no need to worry! I've been cleansing with a bit of pressure to allow the Spicules to penetrate better. After cleansing, I recommend applying a generous amount of a PDRN product (extracted from salmon for skin regeneration) to enhance the absorption of active ingredients and boost skin regeneration. A well-known pharmacy PDRN product is Rejuvenex cream. Personally, I've been using a PDRN-containing ampoule after the Spicule Cica Foam Cleanser. The next day, my skin definitely feels firmer and more hydrated. I'm confident that with consistent use, there will be noticeable improvements in skin texture.

This seems to significantly reduce makeup pilling. - Despite containing cica, which made me worry it might be irritating, when I used it there was only slight redness that quickly subsided. As the dead skin cells sloughed off, my complexion seemed brighter! For those with super sensitive skin, using this product daily might cause irritation. Personally, I didn't find the spicules irritating, so it wasn't harsh on my skin. It lathers up nicely and has great cleansing effectiveness. Thanks to the exfoliating ingredients, I can feel a smoothness that I couldn't achieve with other cleansing foams! It leaves my skin feeling so silky smooth that I keep wanting to use it. I think I'll definitely repurchase when I run out! As for downsides... there aren't really any! Those with super sensitive skin might find the spicules a bit tingling. I liked that it came in a tube, which made it convenient to use. Initially, I thought it wasn't bad, but after using it consistently for a few weeks, I noticed some skin tightness. Even though I use an exfoliating peeling gel weekly, I found that more dead skin cells were coming off than usual. It seems this product didn't suit my skin type. Skin Type I have thick skin with an oily T-zone, large pores with sebum, and rarely get blemishes. Texture & Scent It starts as a white, solid texture, but as you rub it with your hands, it gradually forms soft, fluffy bubbles that spread smoothly. The scent is very subtle and refreshing. It's kind of minty? Not strong, so it's not overwhelming. Cleansing & After-feel After cleansing, it feels like it removes oil effectively, leaving skin squeaky clean! I felt like my skin was becoming more refined. Even when my skin wasn't in the best condition, I didn't experience any tingling, so I could use it with peace of mind. Positives It has good cleansing effectiveness for removing impurities, but in my opinion, it's not very irritating. After use, my skin feels smooth and refined. It seems to cleanse thoroughly, even deep into the pores. Overall Impression Overall, I was satisfied because it gave a proper squeaky-clean feeling. It might be a bit strong for those with super sensitive skin?? If you take care to moisturize well after cleansing, it's suitable for daily use. On days when your skin is sensitive, you might feel a very slight tingling, so I recommend testing it first before regular use. Fortunately, that wasn't the case, and I was amazed by its cleansing effectiveness! I've tried many cleansing foams, but usually, when I think one works well for me, I soon discover drawbacks and stop using it. This product, however, had no such issues. The more I used it, the more I noticed my pores improving, and I felt it had more advantages than disadvantages! I highly recommend this product for those who need proper skin care! The cleansing effectiveness was a bit disappointing, but it's still similar to regular cleansing foams! For the best makeup removal, first use an oil or cleansing balm, then follow up with this cleansing foam. It works hard to remove all traces of makeup!
