I received the product on October 2nd and have been using it since. Please note that this review is based on my experience during the changing seasons when my skin was particularly sensitive. Ingredients: This product has passed sensitivity tests for sensitive skin and received the highest 'excellent' rating from German derma tests, so you can use it with confidence in terms of ingredients. However, I noticed that the ingredient list includes some aromatic oils that could potentially cause skin irritation, so those sensitive to these should avoid it. Texture and Application: It's a 2-step gel mask. The ampoule, being the first step, didn't cause much tingling. The gel mask felt more firm than cool. It adheres well to the skin, but there's a slight tendency to slip immediately after application. It's best to wait until it sets a bit before going about your activities. As it's targeted for pore care, it feels more nourishing in terms of tightening pores rather than soothing or hydrating. While pore issues are challenging even for dermatologists, I didn't have high expectations. However, immediately after use, I felt like my pores appeared slightly filled.
ConsIngredients: Despite passing derma certifications and sensitivity tests, it doesn't feel particularly gentle. When I applied the ampoule with hands affected by eczema, it stung. During use, some areas felt itchy, and after removing the mask, I noticed redness in those spots. (I recommend avoiding use when your skin is in poor condition or already irritated.) Effectiveness: Right after use, I was pleased with the temporary pore-filling effect, but it seemed to work mainly on smaller pores around the cheeks. The effect on the nose area, where pores are larger, was less satisfying and seemed temporary. It doesn't address uneven skin texture. (Note that the product I received for this review event was the Spicule 1000, designed for mild pore care. The Spicule 3000 might potentially offer more satisfaction.) Price: At 5,000 won per mask including the 2-step ampoule, it's not unreasonably priced for a gel mask. However, personally, I might feel a bit disappointed if I paid full price for a single sheet. Still, as it's more of a periodic treatment rather than a daily use product, it could be worth trying during promotional events.
TipSince the Spicule 1000 and 3000 products are priced the same, next time I might opt for the 3000 for potentially better results. (The packaging looks identical, so be sure to check carefully.) It's best to use this when your skin is in good condition.

The next day, it felt like my makeup applied more smoothly. The packaging was clean and simple too! This would make a great gift for a friend who's into masks. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else to say!
ConsI gave it 3 stars because it takes way too long to become transparent, which is when you're supposed to remove it. My boyfriend only kept it on for about 10-15 minutes before taking it off, saying his face was itchy (though he does have sensitive skin). Also, it seems quite expensive compared to the masks I usually use. And the mask tends to slip down, which is unusual - my regular masks stay put even when I'm moving around. That's why I'm giving it 3 stars.
TipTry putting it in the fridge for 10 minutes before use - the cooling effect is no joke!

It's so practical because you don't need to buy a separate ampoule. The amount of ampoule is just perfect for a single use. The scent isn't overpowering, so it's not bothersome at all. In fact, after a while, you might even forget there was a scent. The mask adheres perfectly to your face, allowing you to work while wearing it without it sliding off.
ConsI was hoping the mask would become transparent as it gets absorbed, but it doesn't seem to absorb well! Although it says it can take up to 40 minutes, if you leave it on for longer than that, your face starts to feel itchy.
TipRather than using it now when it's getting cooler, I think it would be great to keep it in the fridge during summer. It could really help tighten up those enlarged pores!

Here's how it works: STEP 1: Apply the ampoule STEP 2: Put on the mask The ampoule tingles a bit when you apply it, but it feels like it's working its magic on your skin, which is exciting! After spreading the tingling ampoule evenly, I applied the mask. It was a bit tricky to put on at first, I'll admit. The mask has a chewy, soft texture, like jelly. It felt like I was wearing a face brace, which was kind of fun! Right after removing the mask, I didn't notice a huge difference - maybe just a bit more hydration? But the next day, my skin was transformed! My makeup went on incredibly smoothly too. At around $5 per sheet, it's not the cheapest option, but I'd definitely repurchase! It seems perfect for using before important events. I'll mention the downsides below, but one thing to note is that you need to lie down quietly while wearing the mask. Still, it felt like I was getting a spa treatment, which was nice!
ConsThere are some clear drawbacks: 1. The tingling sensation might be too much for those with sensitive skin. I have pretty tough skin (I barely feel microneedling at the dermatologist's), and this was just mildly itchy for me. But it could be shocking for first-timers. Despite the product claiming to be suitable for sensitive skin, I wouldn't recommend it for super sensitive types. 2. The tingling lasts for a day or two! I couldn't use it daily while testing for this review. The sensation made me hesitant to apply anything else, especially around the eyes where the mask doesn't adhere as well and the skin is thinner. 3. This rubber-like mask was new to me after using only sheet masks. It's heavy and tends to slide down if you're not lying down. You absolutely must lie still while wearing it. Sitting up makes it feel like your face is melting off! 4. The wear time is quite long! Most sheet masks are around 20 minutes, but this one suggests 30 minutes (some people even go over 40). The instructions say to wait until it becomes transparent, which is vague. Even after 40-50 minutes, I couldn't tell if it was 'transparent' enough. I even tried it on my leg afterwards and still couldn't figure it out! 5. The application instructions could be clearer. As a sheet mask user, the separated top and bottom pieces confused me at first. I even put the chin part on my forehead by mistake! The mask comes between two plastic sheets, and I'm still not sure which side goes on the skin or why the plastic is there. Better instructions would have been helpful. Oh, and the packaging was so hard to open, I almost cut the mask trying to get it out!

It also felt like it was providing systematic care, which I appreciated. Though I didn't use it for an extended period, after about two weeks of consistent use, I could see my sagging pores (thanks, summer) becoming more taut! The mask is separated into upper and lower parts, so it wraps around the face better. I love that the mask becomes transparent when it's fully absorbed, making it easy to visually check its effectiveness!
ConsMake sure to let the ampoule absorb fully before applying the mask, or it might fall off! The cheek area absorbed less product, so when I left it on for longer, the part near my jawline got a bit itchy. It wasn't severe though, just something to keep in mind.
TipI recommend placing the eye area pieces over your nasolabial folds to eliminate any gaps. For those with dry skin, apply an additional layer of cream after removing the mask.

I've been interested in needle shots, and it seems spicules have a similar effect. The generous amount of ampoule was great, and it felt like I was getting a professional treatment at a dermatologist's office.
ConsThe sheet mask was smaller than expected, even though I don't have a large face. It was fine for me, but my boyfriend said it started to itch after about 30 minutes, though it was okay for the first 20. If you have sensitive skin, you might want to remove it earlier than 30 minutes. Also, even though I have oily skin, some areas felt surprisingly dry after removing the mask. Lastly, the rather high price is a bit disappointing.
TipSince there was plenty of ampoule, I applied a suitable amount before using the sheet mask. I used the remaining ampoule the next night before my skin and emulsion routine, which seemed to work well. The mask has detachable parts for the eyes and mouth area. Instead of throwing these away, try placing them on your neck for added benefits!
