As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually avoid harsh products. However, the positive reviews and intriguing spicule technology of this product caught my attention. Despite my past experiences with Mediheal products not agreeing with my skin, I decided to give it a try. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it worked for me. Here's my review after using 4 masks: First off, I love the silicone-like texture of the mask. It adheres perfectly to the skin without causing any irritation. On the first day, I noticed a slight redness, which made me worry about potential irritation. But the real magic happened from the second day onwards. My skin felt deeply hydrated and plump, and I could see a noticeable improvement in my skin texture. The effects seem to last for about a week after each use. On the downside, unlike other sheet masks, the eye and mouth areas aren't pre-cut, so you need to tear them yourself, which can be a bit inconvenient. I use these cut-out pieces on my smile lines to maximize usage. Also, there are protective sheets on both sides of the mask that need to be removed, which is a bit fiddly. During this process, some of the essence drips off, which feels a bit wasteful. While it's on the pricier side, I think it's worth picking up when it's on sale. Given how sensitive and dry my skin is, I've found that using this mask once every two months works best for me. I'm quite satisfied with this frequency. After removing the Step 2 mask, I gently pat my face to absorb the remaining essence, as my skin feels a bit tingly if I tap too hard. I appreciate that you can make good use of the leftover mask essence, and that the sheet mask stays in place without sliding off. As for the effectiveness, I'll need to use it a few more times to really tell. The initial application of the cream causes a bit of a tingling sensation. I think it's due to individual skin differences. Personally, I feel that when there's a slight tingling, it might actually be a sign that the product is working. However, if you have super sensitive skin, it's probably best to be cautious. When using this product, those with sensitive skin should do a patch test first. The tingling sensation might indicate that the active ingredients are working, but it's important to distinguish between normal tingling and potential irritation. This product offers a two-step care routine with a spicule and gel-type mask. After cleansing, I applied the spicule treatment, which was surprisingly gentle and not as tingling as I expected. I have combination dehydrated skin with noticeable pores, so I bought this hoping for pore reduction. While I didn't see immediate pore-minimizing effects, I did feel a slight tightening sensation after removing the mask, which I had left on for about 30 minutes. It gave my skin a subtle, bouncy feeling. I think even those with super sensitive skin could use this comfortably, as I didn't experience any irritation from the spicules. The gel mask did slip a bit when first applied, but it settled nicely after a few minutes, allowing me to go about my business without any issues. Being a gel-type mask, I had to be careful when removing the backing sheet. Although the mask didn't tear, it did require delicate handling. The mask size wasn't particularly generous, with the nose area being a bit short and leaving gaps around the sides of the nose. To address the gaps around the nose, I used the eye gel patches to cover those areas, which worked perfectly. Placing the lip patch on as well left my skin feeling noticeably more hydrated after removing the mask.

I was even more surprised to find out it contains spicule essence at such a reasonable price. The essence texture isn't overly hydrating, but it absorbs well, making it comfortable to wear. I was worried the spicules might cause a tingling sensation, but it was actually quite gentle, which I appreciated. The instructions said to leave it on for 40 minutes, but I kept it on for an hour and a half, and it still felt hydrating. After removing it, I was amazed to see that my pores looked slightly more refined and smaller. It exceeded my expectations and I'm very satisfied! There wasn't really anything disappointing about it. I'm happy with both the price and the mask! Although it's recommended to use for 40 minutes, I left it on for about an hour and a half until it felt mostly absorbed. With gel masks, I find it's better to keep them on longer than the suggested 30 minutes - until you see the mask color change and experience that tightening effect before removing it.

It had a significant impact on my skin texture, including those pesky little bumps. My skin felt incredibly smooth, and I could feel the difference from the moment I washed my face the next morning! This product really works hard to tighten up those enlarged pores! The Madecassoside serum with spicules applies in a thin, even layer, and when followed up with the mask gel pack, it maximizes the effects! I wish I could keep it on longer, but my skin absorbs it so quickly! This could be seen as either a pro or a con depending on the person. Overall, the effectiveness is truly impressive. After applying the spicule serum, I layered on a hyaluronic acid serum before putting on the mask gel pack. This spicule mask provides just the right amount of stimulation. Its gel texture makes it easy to use, and you'll notice your skin feels softer the next day. Unfortunately, I didn't see any noticeable improvement in my complexion, which was a bit disappointing. I was worried it might be too harsh on my skin, but there was no redness or adverse reactions. After getting used to it, it felt better than expected. 2) Gel mask - It adheres well to the face without lifting, which is great. However, due to its thickness, it may slide down slightly if you're not lying down. 3) The tingling sensation persisted until the next morning after cleansing and applying basic skincare. Keep this in mind! Texture: 1) Ampoule - It's a hydrating type of ampoule. 2) Gel mask - Feels like applying soft pudding to your face. The smooth, silky texture is oddly addictive... Scent: Ampoule - Fragrance-free Gel mask - A subtle rice water scent...? It's familiar, like something I've smelled before. The scent wasn't off-putting, so I used it comfortably. Effects: I observed changes in the pores on my nose and T-zone. The T-zone seemed to have improved skin texture and refined pores. As for the nose, since it has more pores, I think I need to use it longer to see noticeable effects... After applying the gel mask to your face, it tends to slide down when touched and crumbles easily! So I recommend lying down after application if possible. After removing the gel mask, finishing with a moisturizing cream that forms a protective barrier gives an overnight pore-care effect...!
