I was worried that using a brightening moisturizer instead of sunscreen might make my skin look too pale. But when I actually applied it, it was fine even with a generous amount. It doesn't make you look awkwardly white! I realized I could skip the separate sunscreen. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, there's no white cast, which is great. It applies smoothly and feels light, so the texture is really nice! It naturally evens out my skin tone and lightly covers blemishes, making it perfect for those days when heavy makeup feels like too much. I also tried layering a thin coat of BB cream over the brightening moisturizer, and it looked moisturized and natural. In the photo, the left side shows where I applied the brightening moisturizer, and the right side is without it.
ConsThe scent was quite artificial, which I didn't like. Sometimes I felt a slight tingling on my face while using it.

It's perfect for when you don't want to wear foundation but don't want to go bare-faced either. - Highly recommended for dry and very dry skin types. As mentioned, it has a rich feel that prevents excessive dryness, and it leaves skin feeling slightly powdery without being heavy. Plus, it gives your skin a glow that makes it look healthy.
Cons- I'm not sure what the scent is, but personally, I don't like the cosmetic smell. - As mentioned in several reviews, the cream and oil layers separate, so if you don't shake it well, a lot of oil comes out. - Due to its rich texture, it's not recommended for combination or oily skin. I also wouldn't recommend it for those who, like me, have dry skin but with oily areas on the nose, chin, and forehead.
Tip- Make sure to shake well before use to mix the oil and cream layers - After application, set with powder on the forehead, sides of the nose, and chin - If the rich texture feels too heavy, try applying it on your neck or arms

Although it claims to be foundation-free, it has almost no coverage and feels more like a brightening moisturizer. The color gives a natural tone-up effect without looking unnatural. The fluid texture applies smoothly without pilling or floating. When I applied it on my hand, it seemed a bit oily, but on my face, it wasn't too greasy and provided just the right amount of hydration. Even when I applied cushion foundation over it, it didn't pill or slide, and actually made my skin feel more matte. Overall, I was quite satisfied with it.
ConsThe downside is the scent. I personally didn't like the fragrance...

It's not unnatural, giving a subtle 'bare skin' effect that's great for casual outings.
ConsWhile it's not actually greasy, it feels rich on the skin, like it's sitting on top rather than absorbing well. It doesn't seem to fully sink in, so those without very dry skin might find it too rich. The artificial fragrance is quite strong, so I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to scents.
TipGently patting it on seems to be the best way to spread it evenly.

While it might not replace foundation, it absorbs well and feels hydrating, making it a great base before applying foundation. I love how smoothly it goes on, and the packaging is really pretty!
ConsThe scent... it smells like plastic toy cosmetics. Personally, I really disliked the fragrance.
TipIt's great that it absorbs well even when you apply a generous amount!

ConsIt doesn't cover blemishes at all, and it pills slightly even when I only used toner and emulsion underneath. Above all, the scent is really off-putting - it's like a strange mix of musty laundry with a hint of floral fragrance

The texture is like a hydrating emulsion, very moisturizing at first. It applies well even with fingers, but I recommend using a puff, especially for tricky areas like around the nose to avoid clumping. For a brightening moisturizer, the tone-up effect is quite subtle, which might appeal to those wanting a natural look. It did a decent job of smoothing out my pores and blemishes. With powder on top, it kept my skin feeling fresh all day. The ingredients seem gentle, which is great for sensitive skin.
ConsThe scent is a mix of laundry soap and an unidentifiable chemical smell. It wasn't too bad during application, but it kept bothering me afterwards. I personally didn't like it. Despite applying thinly, it felt strangely heavy on my skin, probably due to its rich texture. I definitely couldn't use this without setting powder. When I tried it as a makeup base, it was too oily for me and caused my makeup to pill. I'll have to test it again when the weather gets colder and drier.
TipMake sure to shake the product well before use, as many reviews mention it can separate! While it applies okay with fingers, using a puff is recommended for a more even application. This might work best for those with dry skin who don't need much coverage and want a light, everyday look.

The texture feels like applying a slightly viscous essence. It doesn't drip after squeezing. ☑️ Ingredients - As someone with super sensitive skin, ingredients are crucial. This sunscreen has a fairly neutral composition without particularly problematic ingredients. It's suitable for everyday use. When my skin was in poor condition, everything stung, but that wasn't this product's fault. ☑️ Moderate Brightening Effect - With a skin tone of 22-23, I don't like overly bright tone-up effects. This product brightens by about half a shade at most, which is pleasantly natural. ☑️ Comfortably Moisturizing Finish - This can vary person to person. For me, it finishes with a nice level of hydration, not drying out my skin. Even after some time, it doesn't feel parched. Unlike typical mineral sunscreens that tend to dry out over time, this one less so. However, some might find it less moisturizing and others might find it too rich or sticky. ☑️ Bottle Tip - The pointed tip makes it easy to control the amount and use hygienically. ☑️ Sleek Packaging - The clean, luxurious exterior is great for using in public and versatile enough for any situation. ☑️ Transfer-Resistant - As a tinted sunscreen, transfer resistance is important. Despite applying generously and rubbing my hands on black pants, it didn't transfer. It only showed minimal transfer when blotting sweat with a tissue. Overall, it performs well in this aspect. ☑️ Relatively Small Size - Compact for a sunscreen, making it very convenient to carry in a bag.
Cons☑️ Scent - This aspect can vary greatly from person to person. While fragrance is listed near the end of the ingredients, suggesting a low concentration, as someone very sensitive to scents, I found it noticeable until I removed the product. It's like a typical cosmetic smell... or the taste of accidentally getting cosmetics in your mouth. I'm not sure if it's the natural scent of the ingredients, but I personally disliked it. ☑️ Typical Mineral Sunscreen 'Film' Feeling - Unlike chemical or hybrid sunscreens, this mineral product has that characteristic 'coated' feeling. It's typical of mineral sunscreens I've tried before. While it's not unbearable for someone who dislikes feeling like there's a layer on their face, I'm mentioning it as a potential drawback. ☑️ Eye Irritation - This can vary greatly between individuals. As someone with particularly sensitive eyes, I often experience irritation. Despite claims of minimal eye irritation, I still felt it with this product. Avoiding the eye area helps, but it's not practical to skip sunscreen there. I've been enduring the irritation while using it. ☑️ Longevity - It might be unreasonable to expect long-lasting tone-up effects from a sunscreen, but I'll comment on it briefly. Without reapplication, the initial brightening effect doesn't last until removal. I didn't track exactly how many hours it lasts. If you want maintained tone-up throughout the day, I recommend reapplying every few hours. ☑️ Coverage - Don't expect good coverage as it's not a thick foundation-like texture. It might conceal light blemishes, but won't cover scabs or dark spots. For those areas, I recommend using a concealer.

It has a nice pink brightening effect that naturally illuminates the skin without looking artificial. If you already have great skin, the subtle brightening effect could give you that radiant, foundation-free look.
ConsUnfortunately, it has an old-fashioned scent reminiscent of my mother's cosmetics that lingers on my face all day. The persistent fragrance gave me a headache. It initially feels moisturizing, but later makes my skin feel matte. Despite thorough moisturizing beforehand, it doesn't blend well with foundation, clumps up, and leaves my skin feeling extremely dry by the end of the day. I probably won't be using this again. It's a really disappointing product.

When first squeezed out, it appeared slightly separated with an oily layer, which gave it a rich feel, but it absorbed well. My skin has been dry lately, but with excess oil. So I've been applying a thorough skincare routine followed by a matte cushion foundation. With this sunscreen, I noticed more shine than usual, so the next time I applied makeup, I lightened up on my skincare, used this sunscreen, then the matte cushion - it helped control the oil better. It seems perfect for those with dry skin. For combination dehydrated skin like mine, it's suitable for winter and spring, but might be too much for summer use.
ConsThe formula separates when squeezed out. The fragrance smells quite artificial. Due to its rich texture, it might be challenging for those with oily skin to use.
TipShake well before use to minimize formula separation. It would be great for achieving a dewy makeup look in the depths of winter!
