My skin is oily but dehydrated, with excess oil in the T-zone and dryness in the U-zone. I have super sensitive skin that reacts quickly to external irritants, sometimes getting red... It's really a challenging skin type to manage, so I can't just apply any product. However, this product didn't irritate my sensitive skin at all. It even helped calm my skin that tends to get a bit red. I was worried it might make my T-zone oilier, but that wasn't the case. Plus, the added sun protection is a great bonus. The texture is incredibly creamy, which makes it absorb beautifully and smoothly. After application, it adheres naturally to the skin and gives a glow. But it's not an overpowering shine - just a natural Inner Glow. To sum up: It absorbs well and suits all skin types, even those with super sensitive skin can use it with confidence. It applies thinly, absorbs well, looks natural, and gives a slight glow! It's perfect for quick outings, easy to apply and reapply whenever needed.
ConsThe scent is a bit disappointing. It smells like old-fashioned foundation...
TipAs it's truly a brightening moisturizer, it doesn't provide coverage or long-lasting effects. When I need to wear makeup, I apply this product first, then lightly dust on my usual powder, and it works wonderfully!

The LYS sunscreen has a pink undertone that naturally brightens the complexion. With its high sun protection factor, it's perfect for a quick application before heading out in the midday sun.
ConsHaving super sensitive skin that reacts to fragrances, I found the scent of this cosmetic product disappointing.
TipFor a natural, 'no-makeup' makeup look, I recommend using this along with a concealer.

You can achieve a glowing complexion too. The lightweight, fluid formula allows for a thin application without feeling suffocating. While the color looks natural, it provides decent coverage, enhancing your skin texture. Even with my super sensitive skin, the gentle ingredients mean I can use it without any blemishes popping up - that's a big plus!
ConsThe brightening effect is too subtle. For my skin, which is lighter than shade 21, there wasn't really any noticeable tone evening. It would be great if it came in different shade options! The scent isn't great either - I think an unscented version would be better.
TipFor products in this type of container, it's best to shake well before use!

I was worried that using a brightening moisturizer instead of sunscreen might make my skin look too pale. But when I actually applied it, it was fine even with a generous amount. It doesn't make you look awkwardly white! I realized I could skip the separate sunscreen. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, there's no white cast, which is great. It applies smoothly and feels light, so the texture is really nice! It naturally evens out my skin tone and lightly covers blemishes, making it perfect for those days when heavy makeup feels like too much. I also tried layering a thin coat of BB cream over the brightening moisturizer, and it looked moisturized and natural. In the photo, the left side shows where I applied the brightening moisturizer, and the right side is without it.
ConsThe scent was quite artificial, which I didn't like. Sometimes I felt a slight tingling on my face while using it.

However, this product struck a nice balance. It spreads smoothly without clumping or feeling stiff, making it great for daily use. I've been using it for over a week and haven't experienced any blemishes. While it offers minimal coverage, it naturally evens skin tone, making my skin look better. The smooth and hydrated finish seems to be why I've been getting compliments on my complexion.
ConsAlthough I'm not sensitive to fragrances, the scent isn't particularly pleasant, so those with sensitivities might not like it. It also seems a bit on the pricey side. If you're looking for high coverage, you might be very disappointed.
TipI found it works great for a natural, bare-skin look when you just use concealer for spot coverage!

Even though I have combination dehydrated skin and don't usually go for overly hydrating base products, this leaves my skin feeling comfortably moisturized with a balanced oil and moisture balance, not matte at all. Brightening effect - It doesn't make your face look unnaturally white, but gives a subtle, natural brightening effect that's about one shade lighter. If you're looking for a dramatic brightening effect, this might not be enough. However, it's perfect as a base before makeup - it's adequately moisturizing, applies thinly without being too thick, doesn't cause pilling, and creates an ideal canvas for makeup application!
ConsCoverage - There's no coverage at all, it just slightly brightens the skin tone. As someone hoping for a foundation-free look, this was a bit disappointing. However, if you have flawless skin without blemishes, this would look beautifully sheer and clean on you. Richness - After application, it's not excessively sticky, but there's a slight rich feeling. If you have oily skin or prefer a matte finish, you might need to blot with oil-absorbing sheets. Scent - Personally, I'm not a fan of the fragrance... It has a strong, old-fashioned scent that reminds me of my mother's old cosmetics.

It's perfect for when you don't want to wear foundation but don't want to go bare-faced either. - Highly recommended for dry and very dry skin types. As mentioned, it has a rich feel that prevents excessive dryness, and it leaves skin feeling slightly powdery without being heavy. Plus, it gives your skin a glow that makes it look healthy.
Cons- I'm not sure what the scent is, but personally, I don't like the cosmetic smell. - As mentioned in several reviews, the cream and oil layers separate, so if you don't shake it well, a lot of oil comes out. - Due to its rich texture, it's not recommended for combination or oily skin. I also wouldn't recommend it for those who, like me, have dry skin but with oily areas on the nose, chin, and forehead.
Tip- Make sure to shake well before use to mix the oil and cream layers - After application, set with powder on the forehead, sides of the nose, and chin - If the rich texture feels too heavy, try applying it on your neck or arms

It doesn't splatter when dispensing, which is great. The packaging allows for direct application to the face. ✔️ Texture: Unlike some brightening moisturizers that can feel a bit stiff, this one isn't stiff at all. It's not matte, but rather a beige-tinted hydrating sunscreen that feels incredibly moisturizing with a lightweight, water-rich formula. ✔️ Application: The hydrating formula spreads easily. You can smooth it out with your hands, pat it in, and it absorbs quickly. It's so easy to apply that even a quick application spreads evenly. It's so hydrating that it feels more like a moisturizing sunscreen than a typical brightening moisturizer! ✔️ Feel on skin: Don't compare this to other brightening moisturizers. Due to its hydrating formula, rather than providing heavy coverage or whitening, it naturally evens out the complexion overall. It slightly covers redness, but doesn't conceal other blemishes or dark spots. ✔️ Despite its hydrating formula, after application it gives an all-over glow to the skin. However, if you apply too much, it can look a bit oily and make the skin appear shiny. Therefore, it's better suited for those with dry skin rather than oily skin. ✔️ Although it has a beige tint, I was surprised that it didn't transfer much. When I pressed a tissue against my skin, only a tiny amount came off. ✔️ I found it works better when mixed with a matte foundation rather than used alone. It balances out the matte finish, improves application, reduces settling into pores around the nose, and provides a subtle inner glow. It pairs well with matte foundations!
Cons✔️ Scent: The fragrance is really unpleasant. I'm not usually sensitive to scents, but when I spread this on my face, the strong smell immediately made me go 'ugh'. It has a scent similar to cooking oil, which made me wince every time I applied it. Fortunately, the smell doesn't linger after application. ✔️ If you apply too much, it can look more oily than glowy, so it's best to use just the right amount.
Tip✔️ Due to its thin and hydrating formula, make sure to shake well before use! ✔️ Mixing it with a matte foundation improves application, reduces dryness, and adds a subtle glow. ✔️ Applying a small amount before foundation works well as a makeup base and gives the skin a beautiful inner glow. Alternatively, you can apply it partially on areas like the cheekbones and forehead for a glowing complexion.

It sinks in naturally, and even reapplying doesn't leave a greasy feeling or heavy layer. Unlike other sunscreens that can leave a white cast when reapplied, this one feels comfortable without any heaviness. There's minimal residue on your hands after application, which is a plus. It gives a subtle brightening effect, similar to a makeup base. I found that applying a thin layer of BB cream over it provides just the right amount of blemish coverage. After a week of use, I didn't experience any blemishes or breakouts. It didn't cause any eye irritation either. Overall, the skin feel is excellent.
ConsThe fragrance isn't to my taste. Personally, I'd prefer if it were unscented.

Although it's advertised as a foundation-free product, it's a bit weak in coverage to be used as such, and it gives off quite a glow. It seems perfect for those with dry skin who find it bothersome to apply both a brightening moisturizer and sunscreen separately in summer. Even though I have oily skin, I found it works well as a makeup base before foundation! As the weather's been getting cooler, I've noticed my skin feeling a bit drier, but using this alone as a substitute for sunscreen and makeup base is convenient and effective!
ConsThe scent is not great. It has a slightly old perfume-like smell, but it does dissipate after a while.
