Personally, I love that the pads are small. While there's no fragrance, they cleanse really well. It gives me a comfortable feeling. Try as I might, I can't find any downsides to this product. I'll keep using it happily! You probably all know this trick already - leaving the pad on your skin for a bit works even better! - fl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
I've been enjoying the Hue Calm mask pack, so I decided to try their pads too. Fingers crossed they work well for me! I'm still on the fence about these. If I experience any discomfort while using them, I'll update my review. - du********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 9, 2025
■Recommended skin types Dry, combination, super sensitive skin, oily, and normal skin types. I have combination skin and it worked well for me. People with sensitive and oily skin also used it without any blemishes. ■Texture If you like products that are hydrating and fresh without being sticky, you'll love this type. The cotton pads are thick, allowing for use as a mask, and are the epitome of hydration. Sometimes Houttuynia Cordata works for me, and sometimes it doesn't. But this product suited me well without causing any blemishes. After use, it even seemed to have a brightening effect, making my skin look more radiant. There wasn't really anything disappointing about it, except that the clip attached to the lid keeps falling off while using it. Other than that, I have no complaints about the product itself. It's all good! For even better results, apply it generously and then follow up with your regular skincare routine. - bo*****Dry SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2025
It's gentle on the skin without irritation and does a decent job of removing dead skin cells, which I really like. There's not really anything to complain about, but it would be great if refills were available. - ah******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
The dead skin cell removal is definitely effective. It absorbs well and doesn't feel sticky, which is great. I love how it leaves my skin feeling moisturized without any stickiness. The downside is that it absorbs so quickly that the pad dries out fast while using it. Also, it's a bit smaller than the pads I used before, which is slightly disappointing. I have dry skin on my body, and without oil and body emulsion, I get itchy with dead skin cells everywhere - on my underwear and clothes. But this pad alone works for my whole body - it's amazing! It removes all the dead skin cells from rough, dark areas, leaving only hydration behind. Especially for areas like the buttocks and panty lines, if you leave it on for about 3 minutes before wiping, it calms any bumps, leaving the skin soft without drying it out. - ru*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 4, 2025Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The pad was a bit rough, but since it's specifically designed for exfoliation, I highly recommend it! The downside is that it's slightly smaller compared to other brands' pads... And I wish there was more of the ampoule solution in the case. It feels less hydrating than other brands' pads... The lower part that's soaked in the ampoule is noticeably more moisturizing... You can use it not just for exfoliation, but also for skin soothing. If you're not using it as an exfoliating toner, try storing it in the fridge and applying it to your skin when it's irritated or needs calming. It works wonders! - wj*********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDec 30, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The other side is smooth, ideal for regular toning. Using the smooth side first, then flipping to the textured side for exfoliation works wonders! The quality of the pads is subpar. When using them with exfoliating toners, the fibers start to come loose, which might actually be harmful to the skin. As most of you probably know, using the smooth side for toning and then flipping to the embossed side for exfoliation is absolutely brilliant for your skin care routine. - yi******Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedDec 29, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

First off, it's a product that really drinks up toner, so I was able to use it for a nice hydrating effect. I used it more as a 'doctor' (spot treatment) than a 'pack' (all-over mask) because there wasn't quite enough for a full mask. What I absolutely loved was that it doesn't have any particular scent! I'm sensitive to fragrances, so this is important to me, and I was pleased that there were no unpleasant odors. It also leaves my skin feeling moisturized, which helps my makeup apply smoothly. Recently, with the weather being what it is, my skin has been so dry that my makeup was flaking and pilling like crazy. But because this product provides so much hydration, it creates a nice, firm base that prevents my makeup from sliding around - it just adheres beautifully. I highly recommend this for those with dry skin! Even if you don't have particularly dry skin, I'd recommend it to anyone who thinks, 'My skin feels dry, and I'm worried about my makeup not sitting well.' I'm sure you'll be satisfied using it! I was so satisfied using this that I didn't really have any complaints. If I had to pick one thing, it might be that the pads are a bit small, and in contrast, the container is quite large, which makes storage a little inconvenient. Also, because the pads are thick, it might be a bit challenging to tear them apart for use. This has become my favorite pre-makeup routine lately! I use the Hwahae pads as a spot treatment, then layer my usual toner about 3 times, followed by whatever serum I'm using. This creates an incredibly firm, hydrated base for your skin. To lock in the moisture, apply a hydrating cream or moisturizer, then sunscreen, and finish with cushion foundation or liquid foundation. Your makeup will adhere beautifully and have great staying power (don't forget to set with powder!). Even as time passes, it doesn't flake and maintains well. If you have dry skin, you absolutely must try this method! - tj********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 28, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

The sleek packaging is attractive and practical, making it easy to use anywhere. 2. As a PHA product, it seems to work well for me. 3. Its small size makes it perfect as a spot treatment, though it might be inconvenient as a full-face mask. 4. Price-wise, it's quite reasonable, starting from just over 10,000 won on Hwahae. 5. The included applicator is great for clumsy users like me. I love this idea, as I used to feel uneasy applying previous products directly with my hands. As mentioned earlier, it's too small for use as a full-face mask. Personally, I find it slightly lacking in hydration. I'm not sure if it would be suitable for those with dry skin. - rk********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 27, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

They're circular with one side embossed, making them slightly thicker than average. While I usually prefer thinner pads for toners and skin packs for better adherence, I think these Hwahae peeling pads are more effective for wiping rather than leaving on the face. ✔️User Experience Containing the holy trinity of peeling ingredients - AHA, BHA, and PHA - plus the 4th generation, low-irritation LHA, these pads focus on removing dead skin cells and excess sebum. I used them in the morning before makeup and at night as the first step in my skincare routine. The results were noticeable - my skin texture became visibly smoother! In the mornings, my makeup applied better, and at night, it removed any leftover impurities my cleanser missed. It's become an essential part of my routine. Despite containing soothing ingredients like Houttuynia Cordata and Centella Asiatica, which prevented irritation, remember you're still physically exfoliating your face, so be gentle! I regularly use AHA/BHA toners and occasionally use Stridex for blemishes and dead skin cells, so I didn't find these pads irritating at all. However, skin sensitivity varies, so I strongly recommend patch testing first! Lastly, these pads are nearly fragrance-free, making them suitable for those sensitive to scents. The circular pads are slightly smaller than average toner pads. They don't fully cover one cheek, so you might need to use two for complete coverage, which is a bit disappointing. My skin tends to act up in summer, so I always focus on reducing skin heat. I keep these pads in the refrigerator for an extra cooling effect.
