I've been using this product for about 10 months, applying it whenever I felt my skin texture was damaged or dead skin cells were building up. The product has almost no scent and has a clay-like texture that's thicker than cream. It also contains natural, eco-friendly particles. 1. While the product feels slightly more solid now (after 10 months) compared to when I first used it, it hasn't affected its application at all. 2. Although it doesn't remove dead skin cells as thoroughly as a dedicated exfoliating product, you can visibly see how it makes your skin smoother and brighter after use, which is impressive for a mask. 3. The clay mask contains particles that provide a skin massage effect and help remove dead skin cells when you gently rub your face while rinsing. 4. While I'm not sure about its pore-cleansing effectiveness, it immediately brightens the complexion and improves makeup application, making your skin look better right after use. 5. Made with mung beans, it seems to have a cooling effect. After rinsing, my skin doesn't feel overly dry, and I can still feel some hydration even without applying moisturizer right away. 6. The included spatula is perfectly sized, allowing you to cover your entire face with just one scoop, preventing product waste. 1. The clay mask doesn't rinse off easily, requiring a lot of facial massage (I deducted one star because it takes a while to remove). 2. The particles in the product can potentially clog your sink, making cleanup a bit troublesome. 3. Your skin starts to feel tight after 10-15 minutes of application. If you want to leave the mask on longer for better results, you need to apply a thicker layer, which makes it even harder to remove. 1. Since removing the mask can take longer than expected, using lukewarm water can help speed up the process. 2. To prevent the product from drying out unevenly, make sure to clean off any residue on the container walls. For best results, use the product stuck to the sides immediately. 3. To prevent the product from drying out, I recommend purchasing the 120ml size rather than the larger 200ml option. - k6*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 28, 2025
I've used about 3 tubes of this, and I often reach for it when I notice dead skin cells or slight flakiness on my face. My skin isn't super sensitive, so I feel like the exfoliation works well when I massage it with the little granules in the mung bean pack. Even when it's not about dead skin cells, if my skin feels heated or I occasionally have a buildup of sebum, using this pack and rolling it around solves everything at once - that's why I've gone through 3 tubes! I'm still using it now, and I'll probably keep using it as long as it doesn't get discontinued like the Shrek pack. It doesn't rinse off very easily with water, so you definitely need to cleanse multiple times. Since I have dry skin, I leave the pack on for about 20 minutes and then roll it off with water. For those with oily skin, I'd recommend about 30 minutes. If you find it hard to rinse off after rolling, using a facial cloth (like a round towel) while cleansing makes it easier to wash off completely. - wl********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 21, 2025
I love that this clay mask only takes 5 minutes, unlike others that need 15. It feels moisturizing when applied, and doesn't flake or crumble when it dries. The price is a bit steep. It would be perfect if it cost about two-thirds of what it does now. - go*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
Exceeded expectations! Bought it at Olive Young and it makes my face feel so soft and smooth... Love it! It doesn't dramatically reduce pores. Also, you need to wash really thoroughly for a long time, even your neck, to get rid of all the particles. - gk*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 13, 2025
I've been using this for about 6 months now. It's a clay mask with little mung bean granules embedded in it. Using the included spatula, I scoop it out and apply a thick layer to my face. After 10-15 minutes, I use the flat side of the spatula to remove the clay. I've been treating myself to this mask on special occasions. What I love is that it doesn't harden and crack over time, allowing me to finish the application with my skin feeling hydrated throughout. There's nothing particularly bad about it. While it gives a pore-tightening sensation, the effect isn't permanent. - wh********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 9, 2025
I use this often because I can clearly see my skin brightening after application It's great as long as you don't use it when your skin is irritated or sensitive, due to the exfoliating particles. However, I'm not sure about its effectiveness on pores - en******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 21, 2025
The mung bean granules seem to act as a scrub when rinsing off! After using the mask, my skin feels smooth and it seems to tighten my pores nicely. The area around my eyes feels a bit sensitive. It's also a bit tricky to apply around the nose. - wl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 15, 2025
I stumbled upon this pore care gem after watching Leo J's YouTube channel, where they're serious about pore management. I was so enchanted by their recommendation that I couldn't resist buying it! They claimed it could manage dead skin cells and sebum without stressing the skin. The packaging was incredibly cute, so I ended up purchasing two! It's supposed to remove impurities from pores without irritation, effectively shrinking them. After consistently using up one container, I can say my pores do seem a bit smaller! First off, the texture is smooth and hydrating, making it easy to apply. It doesn't dry out even when left on for a while, which is great. After rinsing, my skin feels plump and moisturized, which is very satisfying. You can really feel how soft and smooth your skin becomes post-cleanse. It's perfect for use 1-2 times a week. Since it's a wash-off mask, if you're feeling lazy, you can apply it while showering or when you're doing a hair treatment or mask. The moisturizing effect after masking felt so good that I used it three times a week, but it ran out too quickly. Use it sparingly! - pp******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 15, 2024
I've been using this product for 3 years straight. It's great at absorbing excess oil quickly. After using it, my complexion definitely brightens up and my skin feels soft and smooth. It's also excellent for daily dead skin cell removal. It can be a bit irritating. If your skin barrier is compromised or you're experiencing extreme dryness, it might cause a tingling sensation, especially around the philtrum area. For those with super sensitive skin, try reducing the frequency of use. - bl******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 23, 2024
As I entered my 30s after cruising through my 20s without ever feeling like my pores were expanding, this summer's heat and excessive sweating made me notice my pores visibly enlarging, along with a hot sensation on my skin. So I decided to try the famous mung bean pore clay mask. Using it throughout the summer, I was blown away by its cooling effect! My skin used to suffer from redness and heat during summer, but after cleansing thoroughly and applying this mask, both the heat and redness diminished, and my pores visibly tightened. What's even better is that the clay texture doesn't drip, making it easy to apply and maintain for 3 minutes without any mess. Highly recommended! Oh, and it contains mung bean, which helps with dead skin cell removal without being harsh. I absolutely love it! The only downside was that the tube packaging made it difficult to squeeze out the product at times, which was a bit inconvenient. For clay masks, it's better to apply them with your hands rather than using a brush - it spreads more evenly that way!
