My skin had been feeling quite dry lately, but in the evening after using this, my skin felt incredibly smooth. I was wondering what I had used - it was this product!
ConsThe fragrance seems a bit strong for my taste. I generally prefer foam cleansers with a milder scent, and this one smells quite artificial to me. However, after talking to others, I've realized that some people actually prefer this kind of scent. It seems to be a fragrance that people either love or hate.

It's definitely a formula well-suited for removing impurities. I loved that it creates fine bubbles instead of large ones, making it easy to massage into the skin while cleansing. As someone prone to periodic blackheads, I noticed that when I thoroughly cleansed my nose area with this, the sebum didn't oxidize and turn black. The product also contains small particles which were great for cleansing whiteheads on my chin!
ConsPersonally, I didn't care for the scent. It felt a bit artificial, like a chemical fragrance. Also, when using enough product to massage (about a thumbprint size), it took quite a while to rinse off with water. That was a bit inconvenient.

I truly understand why it's called 'rice cake' cotton. It becomes more elastic as you touch it, with a pleasant feel. It's like handling slightly sticky clay. There's no irritation. While individual experiences may vary, considering its ability to remove blackheads and dirt from pores and dead skin cells, it's remarkably gentle. There are small granules that feel like straw or rice, which might cause slight irritation for those with super sensitive skin. It's great for pore care. It effectively removes dirt and impurities from pores, leaving them clean and appearing smaller. The cleansing power is impressive. You can remove makeup without using cleansing oil or gel. It cleanses thoroughly with minimal skin tightness, which is fantastic. Blackheads disappear. It's particularly effective in removing blackheads. Gently rolling it on the nose area works especially well.
ConsIt has an artificial scent, reminiscent of old-fashioned cosmetics. The quantity seems a bit small for the price. The jar packaging compromises hygiene and convenience.
TipFor those with numerous blackheads, it's particularly effective when used concentratedly on the nose area.

However, I was pleased that it felt gentle on my skin without any irritation. The texture starts off thick, but it dissolves nicely when it comes into contact with water. After using it, I can feel my skin becoming softer. I also appreciate the spoon holder on the lid.
ConsAs of now, I don't have any major complaints, but the cleansing effectiveness might be a bit lacking if you only use this cleansing balm. Also, I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike scooping out products. The scent is reminiscent of butter cookie dough, which might be polarizing for some people.

What's great is you can use this as both a daily cleanser and a mask. When mixed with water to create foam, it works as a daily cleanser. Applied thickly, it becomes an effective mask - very versatile! It contains almond seed powder which removes impurities without being too harsh on the skin. After use, my skin feels soft and smooth. What impressed me most was its effectiveness in clearing blackheads! Honestly, I've been skeptical of products claiming to remove blackheads, but this one really works. As a daily cleanser, it gently removes blackheads, and as a mask, the results are visibly noticeable - it clears almost all of them. That's why I highly recommend using it as a mask.
ConsThe scent is quite strong, reminiscent of intense men's cologne. Even after rinsing and until bedtime, the fragrance lingers on my face, which is disappointing. If only it would dissipate quickly, it wouldn't be such an issue. Also, it seems to run out rather quickly with regular use.
TipIf you want to see real results for blackheads, make sure to try it as a mask!

I was so excited to be chosen! I really put my heart into testing this. Actually, I've been using the blue cleansing bar that I bought with my own money, so I was curious about the green one too! First off, the scent is pretty much the same, but the cleansing effectiveness is absolutely top-notch! I thought a pack cleanser might not clean well, but even with just one cleanse, it removed everything completely. As for skin types... I think it's fine for all except super sensitive skin!
ConsHowever... On the third day of using this Arencia cleansing bar, I experienced a lot of blemishes and my skin reacted badly. So, I definitely don't recommend it for those with sensitive skin! Also, the fragrance is quite artificial, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who dislike synthetic scents either.
TipI didn't really use it much as a pack, but even just using it as a regular cleanser, I think it's worth the money!

The texture is true to its name - it's really thick and chewy, just like a rice cake! Because of its dense consistency, it goes on quite thick, making it feel almost like a mask cleanser. There are small granules mixed in, which can be useful for exfoliating dead skin cells. However, I wouldn't recommend this for those with super sensitive skin.
ConsThe scent is a bit artificial, like a sweet mugwort rice cake. It's definitely a love-it-or-hate-it fragrance - personally, I wasn't a fan. In terms of cleansing effectiveness, it's not strong enough for heavy makeup days. It's more suitable for morning cleansing or days with light makeup. After rinsing, your skin doesn't feel squeaky clean, but rather moisturized. The packaging includes a built-in spatula for application, which I found a bit inconvenient. As mentioned earlier, the small granules in the soap might cause irritation when washing. Those with sensitive skin should keep this in mind before purchasing. In conclusion, while I'm glad I got to try it as a Hwahae Tester, I wouldn't spend my own money to use this product again.
TipIf you apply it like a pack and then gently massage with a bit of water, your face feels more hydrated after cleansing!

I'm prone to blemishes. I used this product every morning from March 19-24. Both photos are taken from the same angle - the first is before, the second is after. The color difference is likely due to lighting. 🔴Effects: Does it remove blackheads? Not quite. While the bumpy texture improved significantly, the dark spots remained as you can see in the photos. However, my skin became noticeably softer! The effects were mainly on skin texture and the nose area, with no impact elsewhere. 🔴User experience: The soap was a bit clumpy, making it slightly challenging to spread. Once you break it up though, it applies well. There are small particles in it, which caused a slight tingling sensation at first. Using a bit more product or gentler application should help! I kept my eyes closed during cleansing and rinsing, but when I opened them afterwards, they felt dry, slightly sore, and irritated. The scent isn't great - not overwhelming, but a somewhat artificial mugwort smell? It's not a fragrance I'd want to smell continuously. There's a slight tightness after washing. 🔴Design: There's an inner lid and a mini spatula inside. The spatula was too small to be useful - using your hands works better. The screw-on lid is a bit inconvenient.
ConsThe fragrance is somewhat artificial, and it irritates my eyes, making them dry and uncomfortable. The design is inconvenient.

Initially, it looks like a regular cream, but when it meets water, it changes into a unique, sticky texture reminiscent of natto. When dispensed, it feels like a moisturizing cream with granules, but adding water creates a viscous consistency that adheres to the face, enhancing its cleansing effectiveness. You can adjust the thickness by varying the amount of water added. Leaves skin clear and velvety smooth without irritation. I always used balm-type cleansers because oils didn't suit me for removing makeup, but I was worried about frequent allergic blemishes. Despite containing granules, this product cleared my skin and gradually removed excess sebum and dead skin cells. I first tested it on the back of my hand before using it on my face, and there was minimal irritation. The most satisfying aspect was how it made my skin soft and smooth. Cleansing power & user experience: It effectively removes most sunscreens and base makeup. However, excessive rolling may cause irritation, so it's best to adjust based on your skin condition. After use, it leaves a moisturized feeling without dryness, resulting in a refreshed finish. What I love most is how it removes excess oil while maintaining hydration! Fragrance & ingredients: While I'm very satisfied with the ingredients, the artificial scent was slightly bothersome. It's a typical cosmetic fragrance, but fortunately, it dissipates quickly after cleansing. I wish it were unscented or had a natural fragrance. Apart from this, it's such an impressive cleanser that I plan to try other unscented products in the lineup. This has become my holy grail cleanser. I'm looking forward to trying their body products too!
ConsThe artificial fragrance may be off-putting for some. The jar packaging is inconvenient for shower use or when traveling, like for swimming. I looked into the tube version, but the only option in the lineup contains LHA, which is too harsh for my skin. It would be great if other formulations were available in tube packaging as well.
TipGently rolling it like a massage helps remove dead skin cells and excess sebum. Depending on your skin condition, you can also use it as a pack by leaving it on for about a minute before rinsing. If you're concerned about irritation, you can reduce the viscosity by mixing it with plenty of water in your hands before applying. This allows for a gentler cleanse compared to creating lather directly on your face. It also works great as a body scrub, providing exfoliation benefits!

Usually, other products leave my skin feeling tight and itchy post-wash, but this one keeps it comfortably hydrated. Pore Care: I'm impressed that a cleansing foam can manage pores so effectively. Texture: Compared to the Arencia Artisan I've been using, this soap bar has smaller, softer particles. This makes for a gentler cleansing experience. Cleansing Effectiveness: It works wonders! Even on days with heavy eye makeup, after using my cleansing water, this product removes any remaining traces. I've used it for over a week without any blemishes, which speaks to its gentle yet effective formula.
ConsFragrance: The scent is more artificial compared to the Artisan product, which was a bit disappointing during use.
TipIf you're looking for a gentle cleanse, go for the soap bar. For a more intense cleanse, the Artisan might be your best bet.
