ConsIf you prefer that squeaky-clean feeling, you might need to follow up with a second cleanse. Being an oil-based product, it doesn't leave that super-clean sensation.
TipI highly recommend gently rolling it around the sides of your nose and T-zone. It's fantastic for managing excess sebum in those areas.

As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually struggle with thick cleansers and use mineral sunscreen, which is hard to remove with regular foam cleansers. It often leaves residue on my nose. But the Acnes Poha Cleansing Oil dissolves even the deepest sunscreen in my pores and nose with ease! I could even see little grains of sebum and impurities coming up as I massaged it in! The gentle exfoliation made my skin incredibly smooth, almost like I'd used a peeling gel or scrub. From day one, my skin texture has been so soft, and the next day my sunscreen and base makeup went on beautifully. I haven't used scrubs or peeling gels in ages due to winter sensitivity, but this gave me gentle exfoliation without irritation. Even my husband, who has blemish-prone skin, tried it and loved how smooth it made his skin without causing breakouts! The formula is much more watery and lightweight than other oils, so I was skeptical about its cleansing power. But wow, seeing the sebum come out proved its effectiveness. It seems to cause fewer blemishes than heavier formulas that can clog pores. I used Acnes foam cleanser for blemish control as a student, and it's still great! I recommend this for sensitive and blemish-prone skin types. The finish isn't super fresh, more of a slippery feel, so it's great for dry skin. If you have oily skin or prefer a matte finish, follow up with a second cleanser for a squeaky clean feel. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out!
ConsTo be completely honest, there wasn't anything I disliked! However, the finish is more slippery and oily rather than fresh, so those who don't like this type of finish might have mixed feelings about it. As someone with sensitive and dry skin, I prefer this smooth finish to a squeaky clean feel, so luckily, I love it! If you want a fresh finish, I'd recommend following up with a second cleanser that gives you that squeaky clean feeling.
TipOnce a week, try opening up your pores with a facial steamer, then massage with the Poha Cleansing Oil. It's great for pore and sebum management! A double cleanse definitely leaves your skin cleaner, so I recommend using the Poha Cleansing Oil as your first step, followed by a gentle foam, gel cleanser, or cleansing milk for your second cleanse.
