Feel: Compared to other cleansing oils, it feels lighter and doesn't leave a greasy film on your face. There's no slippery sensation, making it incredibly pleasant to use compared to other cleansing oils. It leaves a refreshing finish without any dryness, making it one of the best cleansing oils I've tried in terms of how it feels on the skin! Cleansing power: Effectively removes sunscreen, makeup base, and eyeliner. However, for mascara and eyeliner, it's best to use a dedicated eye makeup remover first, then follow with this cleansing oil for a thorough cleanse. Recommended for: Acne-prone skin, oily skin, combination skin

  Cons

  It would be nice if the price was a bit lower for the amount you get. Unfortunately, it contains two ingredients to be cautious of and three that might not be ideal for super sensitive skin.

  Tip

  Be careful not to leave it on your face for too long as it may clog pores. Once you've finished massaging it thoroughly, rinse off with lukewarm water!

  Experience powerful cleansing that effectively removes not only makeup but also sunscreen and waterproof products. With four types of hyaluronic acid, my dry skin felt completely satisfied as it didn't feel parched after cleansing! The texture is thinner and lighter than typical cleansing oils, allowing me to use it without worrying about blemishes. I'm also expecting that with consistent use, it will gently dissolve impurities in the pores, helping to manage blackheads.

  There wasn't anything particularly bad! If I had to pick something, some might find the formula a bit too thin.

  As someone with oily, acne-prone, and blemish-prone skin, I decided to try this oil after hearing it was made for people like me. I applied to be one of The Hwahae Testers to give it a go. First off, it's definitely a watery oil as described. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of oils and haven't tried many cleansing oils, but this is the lightest one I've experienced so far. It also contains my favorite BHA and PHA ingredients, which might be why my skin felt smoother and more refined after washing, as if it effectively dissolved sebum and dead skin cells. Initially, when I was rolling it on my face and emulsifying it, I was skeptical - the slippery feeling made me wonder if it was just another ordinary cleansing oil. However, after rinsing thoroughly and patting my face dry, I was pleasantly surprised. There was no lingering oily sensation; instead, my skin felt hydrated and my complexion looked clearer. Since I didn't experience any blemishes after use, I'm planning to incorporate this into my evening cleansing routine.

  As a woman in her 40s with normal skin, I've always been conscious about cleansing since I had oily skin in my 20s. Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent! Usually, I use a separate lip and eye makeup remover, but with this product, there's no need. It even removes mascara gently and thoroughly. No need to worry about irritation from rubbing. Texture: Though it's an oil, it's incredibly lightweight. It glides on smoothly without any stickiness, feeling fresh and gentle. Scent: It's unscented, but there's a very faint chemical smell. However, it's not bothersome at all. After cleansing: I love how well it rinses off with warm water. My skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated after cleansing. While it might be too much for daily use, I'll definitely reach for it on days when I wear heavy makeup or when there's a lot of fine dust in the air.

  You know how double cleansing used to be all the rage? Nowadays, we know it can actually damage your skin barrier. When you're wearing heavy makeup, cleansing with oil and then rinsing thoroughly with warm water is sufficient. However, even if you have oily skin, using oil cleansers daily can be risky. For days when you've only applied sunscreen, a regular cleansing foam should be enough. At first, I disliked the slippery feeling, but once I got used to it, it started to feel wonderfully hydrating.

  A lightweight hydrating cleansing oil 💧 Hate oily products? Even if you're a total oily skin type, there are times when foam cleansers just won't cut it for removing makeup, right? That's when you absolutely need a cleansing oil... While I don't use it daily, I do reach for cleansing oil about 3 times a week, either for sebum control or when I've put on a full face of makeup and want to remove it thoroughly. I usually use a deep cleansing oil, which can feel quite thick and heavy. But this Acne product has a much lighter texture, making it comfortable to use! The water-based formula is fascinating - it's a truly hydrating oil that feels suitable for daily use. Highly recommended!

  I've been using balm-type cleansers more than oil-based ones for my first cleanse after makeup. I thought I wouldn't reach for an oil cleanser, but this one isn't a heavy oil formula. It's actually a watery type, which makes it nice and light to use. The scent is pleasant too, not off-putting at all. After massaging it in and emulsifying, I rinsed it off. There doesn't seem to be any slippery residue left behind. Still, I did follow up with a foam cleanser for my second cleanse. With the weather changes lately, I've been getting some blemishes and dead skin cells, so I'm planning to use this Acnes oil as my daily cleanser for a while.

  Cleansing effectiveness: After full makeup, it's usually a hassle to use both eye makeup remover and makeup remover, but this cleansing oil's makeup removal power is so excellent that I loved how it cleanly removed makeup with just a follow-up cleansing foam! Texture: It has a light, water-like texture, which I think is one of the biggest advantages of the Acnes Cleansing Oil compared to other cleansing oils! Usually, when I use cleansing oils, they feel heavy and seem to clog my pores, so I had to wash multiple times, but this cleansing oil felt so light after use that I could feel my pores were free of impurities. Skin: My skin is dry and sensitive, so I prefer gentle, moisturizing products! For daily makeup, the cleansing oil alone was enough to remove makeup cleanly, so I used a combination of this cleansing oil and Dr. Lab Sulfur Powder Wash. I loved how it finished without any irritation to my skin and left it moisturized and refreshed! Overall: 5/5 Among the cleansing oils I've used, this one was the most satisfying in terms of finish and cleansing effectiveness! Especially for dry skin that remains dry even with thorough skincare, this moisturizing cleansing oil is like an oasis. I think I'll stick with this cleansing oil from now on!

  Blackhead and whitehead improvement: After using the cleansing oil, the improvement in blackheads and whiteheads wasn't noticeable enough to see with the naked eye! While it left no residue, I had to use it with other exfoliating products to see improvement.

  Tip

  If your goal is to improve dead skin cells, whiteheads, and blackheads, I recommend using an exfoliating product along with this cleansing oil!

The products I used back then seemed more suitable for those with dry skin. After a long time, I was lucky enough to win a trial and got to use the Acnes Cleansing Oil. This product is definitely a great cleansing oil for oily skin! Does that mean it's not good for dry skin? Not at all. It has a very light and watery feel, leaving the skin moisturized after use, making it suitable for all skin types. I usually wear sunscreen, cushion foundation, eyebrow makeup, and lip color, and it removes everything effectively. The cleansing power is excellent. Although I don't wear much eye makeup, I believe it would remove that well too. After massaging and emulsifying, when I wipe it off, I notice it's great at dissolving whiteheads and blackheads! This made me realize why people use cleansing oils. Acnes has long been known as a brand suitable for sensitive skin, and after actually using this cleansing product, I'm really impressed with how it feels^^ 🩵Summary A daily cleansing oil that's light enough for all skin types, including oily skin
