  Experience powerful cleansing that effectively removes not only makeup but also sunscreen and waterproof products. With four types of hyaluronic acid, my dry skin felt completely satisfied as it didn't feel parched after cleansing! The texture is thinner and lighter than typical cleansing oils, allowing me to use it without worrying about blemishes. I'm also expecting that with consistent use, it will gently dissolve impurities in the pores, helping to manage blackheads.

  I used this not only for removing makeup but also in the morning to control excess oil. It's the first time I've experienced such a light and gentle feeling with a cleansing oil. I had no blemishes while using it, and it emulsifies well, leaving me feeling refreshed after use. I'm prone to breakouts on my chin, but as I massage this in, I can actually see the sebum plugs coming out! I highly recommend this to those with oily skin who find cleansing oils heavy or suffocating. This product works hard for your skin!

  When cleansing waterproof products, you need to massage a bit more vigorously and for longer. It's a shame it doesn't finish the job in one go, but since I don't use waterproof products often, it's not a big issue for me.

  Tip

  To compare makeup removal, I only cleansed half my face. It effectively removes even waterproof mascara and eyeliner. However, since you need to rub a bit harder, it might be too harsh for the eye area. I recommend using a separate lip and eye makeup remover for those delicate areas.

I think it would be perfect for those with oily skin or anyone looking for a lightweight option during summer. Despite its light texture, I was pleasantly surprised by its cleansing effectiveness. It removed sebum well, emulsified nicely, and took off most of my makeup without a hitch. After using it for about a week, I didn't experience any significant blemishes.   I have combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, with a few blemishes at the moment. Here's what I like about this cleansing oil: 1. The texture is just right - not too heavy or light, but perfectly smooth. It's the ideal consistency for me, as overly thick oils can feel burdensome and very light ones make me question their cleansing effectiveness. 2. While I can't speak to how well it removes heavy makeup, it easily takes off my usual light routine of sunscreen, foundation, cushion, and lipstick. If you wear minimal makeup, this should be sufficient without needing a separate point remover. 3. I appreciate the inclusion of exfoliating ingredients. My skin is prone to blemishes, so I'm hopeful that the AHA, BHA, PHA, and LHA components will be beneficial. However, I've only used it for a short time, so it's too early to definitively comment on its effectiveness.

  As a woman in her 40s with normal skin, I've always been conscious about cleansing since I had oily skin in my 20s. Cleansing effectiveness: Excellent! Usually, I use a separate lip and eye makeup remover, but with this product, there's no need. It even removes mascara gently and thoroughly. No need to worry about irritation from rubbing. Texture: Though it's an oil, it's incredibly lightweight. It glides on smoothly without any stickiness, feeling fresh and gentle. Scent: It's unscented, but there's a very faint chemical smell. However, it's not bothersome at all. After cleansing: I love how well it rinses off with warm water. My skin feels incredibly soft and hydrated after cleansing. While it might be too much for daily use, I'll definitely reach for it on days when I wear heavy makeup or when there's a lot of fine dust in the air.

For days when you've only applied sunscreen, a regular cleansing foam should be enough. At first, I disliked the slippery feeling, but once I got used to it, it started to feel wonderfully hydrating.

  I've been using balm-type cleansers more than oil-based ones for my first cleanse after makeup. I thought I wouldn't reach for an oil cleanser, but this one isn't a heavy oil formula. It's actually a watery type, which makes it nice and light to use. The scent is pleasant too, not off-putting at all. After massaging it in and emulsifying, I rinsed it off. There doesn't seem to be any slippery residue left behind. Still, I did follow up with a foam cleanser for my second cleanse. With the weather changes lately, I've been getting some blemishes and dead skin cells, so I'm planning to use this Acnes oil as my daily cleanser for a while.

  Cleansing effectiveness: After full makeup, it's usually a hassle to use both eye makeup remover and makeup remover, but this cleansing oil's makeup removal power is so excellent that I loved how it cleanly removed makeup with just a follow-up cleansing foam! Texture: It has a light, water-like texture, which I think is one of the biggest advantages of the Acnes Cleansing Oil compared to other cleansing oils! Usually, when I use cleansing oils, they feel heavy and seem to clog my pores, so I had to wash multiple times, but this cleansing oil felt so light after use that I could feel my pores were free of impurities. Skin: My skin is dry and sensitive, so I prefer gentle, moisturizing products! For daily makeup, the cleansing oil alone was enough to remove makeup cleanly, so I used a combination of this cleansing oil and Dr. Lab Sulfur Powder Wash. I loved how it finished without any irritation to my skin and left it moisturized and refreshed! Overall: 5/5 Among the cleansing oils I've used, this one was the most satisfying in terms of finish and cleansing effectiveness! Especially for dry skin that remains dry even with thorough skincare, this moisturizing cleansing oil is like an oasis. I think I'll stick with this cleansing oil from now on!

  Blackhead and whitehead improvement: After using the cleansing oil, the improvement in blackheads and whiteheads wasn't noticeable enough to see with the naked eye! While it left no residue, I had to use it with other exfoliating products to see improvement.

  Tip

  If your goal is to improve dead skin cells, whiteheads, and blackheads, I recommend using an exfoliating product along with this cleansing oil!

However, the Acnes Cleansing Oil easily removed even the hard-to-remove Clio eyeliner! Many cleansing oils don't emulsify properly, leaving an oily residue after rinsing. The Acnes Cleansing Oil doesn't have this issue at all. Its texture is smooth, and it emulsifies nicely, leaving skin feeling fresh without the need for an additional cleansing foam. No blemishes! This ties in with how well it emulsifies. True to the Acnes brand's reputation for acne and blemish care, I didn't experience any breakouts even with continued use.
