I've tried various cleansing foams, balms, and oils, but never a water-based cleanser, so I was half excited, half worried. Surprisingly, it turned out to be quite good! O Texture The bubbles are incredibly gentle. Being a water-based formula, it doesn't have the rich lather of a cleansing foam, but it absorbs into the skin effortlessly. O Feel on skin It leaves a refreshing finish without any oily residue, which I love. O Packaging The luxurious packaging and generous size are top-notch!
ConsX Eye irritation & cleansing effectiveness It causes some irritation when it gets into the eyes, making it less suitable for removing point makeup. While it can handle eyeliner reasonably well, it struggles with mascara. It's probably best for light makeup days or morning cleansing.
TipI recommend using this when you need a light cleanse or want a fresh finish to your skincare routine.

Makeup worn: Light BB cream + serum foundation, mascara, blush, powder, eyeshadow, and eyeliner - the full works! I've always been a fan of using cleansing water in a Daiso foam dispenser, but this product is specifically designed for foam dispensers. The foam lasts longer, making it easier to massage and cleanse my face!
ConsI experienced slight irritation with this product. It didn't easily remove point makeup like eyeliner or mascara. Be careful - it stings if it gets in your eyes!

Unlike oil cleansers, it's a foam cleanser, so I thought its cleansing effectiveness might be lower, but it's actually quite good! After using it, my skin feels firm and my overall skin condition has improved. I had been experiencing continuous blemishes, but they seem to have calmed down and my skin texture has gotten better. That's why I'm using it for cleansing even when I'm not wearing makeup.
ConsPersonally, because it's foam, it turns into water when it touches the skin and you rub it, which made me want to pump out more. Also, like with other products, I found it's better to remove mascara separately before cleansing with this.
TipIf you massage the foam gently without letting it collapse, you can cleanse without it turning into water as quickly!

First off, I loved the initial impression - the pump design makes it so convenient to use, and since it's a foam type, I could cleanse directly with my hands without needing cotton pads. Unlike regular cleansing waters, it doesn't drip since it's foam, and it doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes, so I felt safe using it around my sensitive eye area. As someone with super sensitive skin who carefully checks ingredients, I appreciated that this product has almost no scent and feels less artificial. It removes makeup pretty well too - while it may not tackle waterproof mascara or tints, it effectively cleanses base makeup and sunscreen. Above all, I loved that there was no tightness or dryness after use - my skin actually felt hydrated post-cleanse. Usually cleansing products leave my skin feeling tight, but this one doesn't at all - I don't even need to rush to apply moisturizer right after. The foam is so fine and soft that cleansing feels like giving myself a relaxing facial massage. Even on makeup-free days, using it lightly to remove impurities left my skin feeling more refined and seemed to reduce blemishes. I highly recommend this for those with sensitive skin or anyone looking for a gentle product. From its gentleness and lack of irritation to its effective cleansing and moisturizing finish, I was truly satisfied with this product.
ConsWhile overall it was a gentle and decent product, there were definitely some downsides. The first thing I noticed was the cleansing power. Since it's a foam cleansing water designed for sensitive skin, its cleansing effectiveness isn't super strong. Heavy makeup, especially waterproof mascara or matte lip products, didn't come off in one go and required multiple rounds of rubbing. While the foam doesn't drip, you need to keep it on your face longer for proper cleansing, which actually made the process a bit time-consuming, and the repeated rubbing could potentially cause irritation. Controlling the amount was also a bit tricky. One or two pumps weren't enough, and it took 3-4 pumps to get sufficient foam to cover the whole face. This made it feel like the product was being used up quickly compared to its volume. I felt like I needed to use it sparingly, which made it feel a bit burdensome for daily use. Another downside was that, being a foam, you can't use it with cotton pads like a regular cleansing water. While some might find this convenient, it could be inconvenient for those who prefer wiping off makeup with cotton pads in one go after going out. While it has the advantage of being gentle and soft, its weakness against heavy makeup, quick depletion, and the need for additional products for perfect cleansing were noticeable drawbacks.

It's easy to apply directly and roll onto the skin, but I find it's even more effective when used with a cotton pad - less dripping and mess. This seems perfect for those who wear light makeup or sunscreen as a first step in their cleansing routine.
ConsBeing a cleansing water, its cleansing effectiveness on waterproof mascara and similar products leaves a bit to be desired.

But this cleansing water is different! Its bubble texture cleanses without irritation, probably thanks to the Vitamin K that helps soothe the skin. I love how it gently dissolves makeup residue when removing my makeup. The large size means it lasts a long time, and it's hygienic too, which is great!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it's that being a cleansing water, you'll need to double cleanse if you're wearing waterproof makeup or heavy foundation. Its cleansing effectiveness isn't super strong.
TipTry cleansing once, then apply it again like a foam mask and rinse off. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated!

First off, I'm the type who always does a double cleanse when wearing makeup, but I absolutely hate anything tedious. So I have a high preference for convenient products like this, and I was thrilled to be selected for The Hwahae Testers this time. I liked that this product overcomes the drawback of watery cleansers being too runny to use without cotton pads. The fact that you don't need to rinse it off with water afterwards seems to be the advantage of water cleansing. Also, over the 10 days, I didn't experience any blemishes or itching from cleansing, and it left my skin feeling slightly moisturized after use, living up to its name.
ConsIf there's one downside, it's the scent. I prefer unscented products if the fragrance isn't pleasant, and for those sensitive to scents, this might smell beyond tea tree and more like men's skincare. As always, I find that these water cleansers can't beat mascara. It always needs oil to be removed, so I didn't expect much and wasn't too disappointed. Still, apart from mascara and point makeup, the rest of my makeup came off cleanly with the first cleanse, so I didn't need to scrub hard during the second cleanse, which is a plus.
TipIf you use mascara, I'd recommend using an eye makeup remover first and then using this as your second cleanser. I'd like to recommend this to those looking for a product that can cleanse gently for sensitive skin regardless of the season.

Cons* Cleansing effectiveness: Above average - Cleanses more thoroughly than expected - Doesn't remove long-lasting products like eyeliner and tightliner well (eye makeup remover necessary) - Effectively removes base makeup like concealer * Blemishes: None - Zero irritation, highly recommended for those with super sensitive skin!
Tip* Recommended for: All skin types - The formula provides hydration + a slight moisturizing effect, making it suitable for all skin types - Especially great for summer use * Repurchase intention: 100% - Would repurchase due to its complete lack of irritation

After creating plenty of foam, place it on your face and massage with the bubbles to remove makeup. The foam isn't extremely dense, but interestingly, it doesn't disappear quickly. I've tried using cleansing water in a bubble maker before, but the foam disappeared too quickly, so I had to keep pumping and applying it to my face while washing. Since this foam doesn't vanish easily, it's comfortable to roll it around. After massaging thoroughly for over a minute, wet your hands with lukewarm water and rinse off bit by bit, and your skin feels smooth. A few more rinses, and your skin becomes squeaky clean. It definitely felt like a gentle cleansing suitable for sensitive skin, removing makeup without irritation.
ConsThe cleansing power seems quite weak. I usually wear sunscreen, base makeup, eyebrow makeup, and mascara. The instructions say to leave the foam on for a while for heavy makeup, so I tried that method and even massaged quite a bit, enduring the eye stinging, but the mascara doesn't come off. To remove it, I had to use it on dry skin first, wipe off with lukewarm water, then create more foam to clean the stubborn areas again before it finally came off. This cleanser is recommended only for those who wear very light makeup, like just sunscreen. Also, it stings my eyes so badly that I can't open them. I have to fumble for the faucet because I literally can't open my eyes at all.
TipIf the cleansing isn't thorough enough, try washing again with foam on your wet face after the first cleanse for a more complete cleansing.

Here's my review after using it for a week! Texture and Feel: - It feels incredibly fresh and cool on the skin. - The foam formula makes it feel less irritating. I think those with super sensitive skin would be satisfied. I didn't experience any blemishes, and it even seemed to calm redness. - The finish is moisturizing and refreshing. There's no stickiness at all; instead, it feels hydrating. Formulation: - It starts as a foam, but as you use it, the bubbles disappear and the texture changes. It becomes almost water-like. Quantity: - I think the amount is good for the price. At 300ml, the quantity seems decent, but this might vary from person to person.
ConsCleansing Power: It removed most makeup well, but personally, I found it didn't effectively remove mascara. If you wear heavy makeup, I'd recommend doing a first cleanse separately. Scent: It has a fresh, slightly herbal scent, but it's stronger than expected (noticeable as soon as you pump it). This might be hit or miss for some people. Formulation: Sometimes it comes out watery, so you might need to shake it before use. Sensitivity: It stings and feels cold if it gets in your eyes. Be careful when removing eye makeup.
TipOverall: I'd recommend this for those with super sensitive skin as it caused no irritation. However, the strong scent might be off-putting for those sensitive to fragrances. Also, if you prefer larger quantities, you might find the amount lacking. But if you prioritize a good user experience and a nice finish, you'll likely be very satisfied with this product.
