There are times when I've only applied sunscreen or light makeup, and it feels burdensome to do a double cleanse. This product, being water-based, was great for a light cleanse. Above all, its cleansing effectiveness was better than I expected! It removed simple makeup like concealer and eyeshadow. What I liked most about the formula is that it's a bubble type, so you don't need to lather it separately. After use, my skin felt less dry compared to other products. Other cleansers left my skin feeling completely parched, like paper. Anyway, I'm using it well without any new blemishes!
ConsThe scent is too strong, which makes it feel a bit overwhelming when using. I think they could have done without the artificial fragrance, which is disappointing.
TipIt's great to use on days when you're wearing light makeup.

Cons- Scent: Personally found the fragrance too strong (reminiscent of a cosmetic brush cleaner I used before) - Caution: May cause slight tingling when removing eye makeup

It removes makeup thoroughly and effortlessly. I was lucky enough to try it as part of The Hwahae Testers program, but I'd definitely consider repurchasing it in the future. No blemishes: After cleansing, I didn't experience any blemishes or irritation. Bubble foam: Unlike other cleansing waters that require cotton pads, which can be a hassle, this one foams up. You can simply dispense it into your hands and cleanse your face like a foam cleanser, which is super convenient.
ConsScent: Personally, I wasn't a fan of the fragrance. It had a somewhat artificial smell. I can't quite put my finger on what exactly it smells like, but the scent was a bit disappointing.

Now, I pump this 4 times into my hands and massage the foam directly onto my skin. It's gentle and reduces the amount of cleansing water absorbed by cotton pads. Non-irritating: The foam formula allows for gentle cleansing without irritation. My skin tolerates it well with no blemishes after use. I didn't even experience any eye discomfort. Maintains hydration: Using only this cleansing water to dissolve makeup and rinsing with water leaves a slight richness, preventing deep dryness. For a more thorough cleanse, rinse multiple times. Packaging: The biggest advantage is the container. Unlike traditional cleansing waters that require separate foaming bottles, this creates foam directly from the bottle, differing from DIY foam solutions.
ConsFragrance: From the moment I opened it, it had the strongest scent among recent cosmetics I've tried. The intense cosmetic smell was surprisingly potent, separate from its performance. Those sensitive to fragrances should be cautious.

Gentle feel + Strong cleansing power I usually apply brightening moisturizer and follow a cleansing oil + foam routine. After winning this product, I switched to cleansing water + foam. With oil cleansers, I'd often get blemishes after a few days, making me question my sunscreen choice. But since using this water cleanser, I haven't experienced any breakouts after applying sunscreen. 2. Delicate foam The foam comes out rich and creamy. Just pump it onto your face and gently massage - it cleanses effectively. I love that I don't need to use cotton pads. 3. So gentle...! I know I shouldn't experiment on my skin too much, but they say you don't need to rinse it off with water. So I tried it on my stress-induced back acne without showering. My back acne cleared up... it's great!
Cons1. The scent... Wow, it really has a strong cosmetic smell. As soon as I smelled it, I thought, 'Whoa... that's intense.'
TipIt's great that you don't need to use cotton pads when applying it to your face!

Each pump gives you the amount shown in the photo, so I used about four pumps per wash. I didn't feel any irritation at all. It's so gentle that you could even use it for morning cleansing. I liked that it rinsed off well with water without leaving any slippery residue.
ConsWhen I first used it, the scent was stronger than expected, which was off-putting. It's not a bad fragrance per se, but it was so intense that I rushed to rinse it off. From the second use, I got more accustomed to it, so it wasn't repulsive anymore, but I still couldn't shake off the impression of its strong scent. Personally, I really disliked the fragrance. The cleansing effectiveness was a bit disappointing. It's fine for me since I only wear sunscreen, but I don't think it would be suitable for removing makeup. I feel like the product is running out faster than expected. I use about four pumps per wash, and the amount seems to decrease rapidly, which is a bit disappointing.

Rich, creamy foam This is my first time using a foaming cleansing water, and it's much creamier than most foam products. I've been using toner products with foam pumps from Daiso lately, but this is far, far creamier. 2. Long-lasting foam I pumped twice and massaged it over my face. Usually, with cleansing waters, they evaporate quickly when applied with a cotton pad, leaving the skin feeling dry if left for a moment. However, this bubble cleansing water's foam remains on the face even after massaging, and it takes quite a while to disappear completely. 3. Gentle on skin Typically, using cotton pads with cleansing water can cause irritation from rubbing. With this bubble cleansing water, you can use cotton pads if you want, but it's not necessary. Simply massaging the creamy foam with your hands results in almost no irritation. I used to feel irritation around my eyes when using cotton pads, but with this product, there's noticeably less irritation when applying with hands and the foam acting as a buffer. 4. Cleansing effectiveness As you can see in the photo, it removes most of my everyday makeup products well, except for very strong pencil-type pearl products. Since I use lip and eye makeup remover for heavy makeup days and follow up with a cleansing foam anyway, this is a satisfactory cleanser for me. 5. Redness reduction Those with redness issues know that even slight irritation can easily cause flushing. This bubble cleansing water seems to cause less redness, probably because it's so gentle on the skin. However, the Hwahae Testers period was quite short, so I'd need to use it for longer to confirm if it significantly reduces redness over time.
Cons1. Scent The scent is strong from the moment you dispense it. It has a rather strong artificial fragrance instead of a natural one, so those sensitive to scents might want to consider this. 2. Foam breakdown During the Hwahae Testers period, I didn't use the bubble cleansing water for a few days. When I tried to use it again, the foam at the top of the container had broken down, so the first pump produced foam mixed with a lot of liquid instead of the creamy foam. It seems this product needs to be used consistently once opened. 3. Need for water rinse Since the foam lasts so long, even if you massage until it disappears, there's still a slight residual feeling. Although it's said that water rinsing isn't necessary, I can't help but feel the need to rinse off the makeup residue, especially since it's not being wiped away with a cotton pad. However, this isn't a major drawback since hardly anyone finishes cleansing with just cleansing water anyway.
TipI don't recommend using this as a regular cleansing water with cotton pads. The creamy foam doesn't absorb well into the cotton, and there's a lot of foam, so it's better to massage with your hands and rinse with lukewarm water. Also, this product can be used as a mask. You can apply it generously to your skin or a cotton pad, leave it on for 1 minute, then gently pat to absorb. It might be worth trying occasionally. I recommend this bubble cleansing water for those with dry skin and those looking for a gentle product due to sensitive skin!

However, as I've gotten older, I've lost both oil and moisture, so now my skin is dry. How to use: I was unsure whether to use it like a cleansing oil without water or like a cleansing foam with water. After trying both methods, using it without water like a cleansing oil seemed slightly more effective at cleansing. However, the difference wasn't significant, so it's best to use whichever method you prefer. When I wore sunscreen or more, I used this cleansing gel after my cleansing water for a double cleanse. Texture: Thanks to the foam dispenser, it comes out as a light foam with small particles. It's not a rich foam, but rather a light, easily-absorbed foam. I stopped using cleansing waters 5-6 years ago due to the irritation from wiping my face with cotton pads and the dryness I felt afterwards. Being in a foam dispenser, it can be used as a foam, giving the feeling of gently removing makeup without irritation, despite being a cleansing water. Whether I had light or heavy makeup on, I always worried about over-cleansing when using cleansing oils. However, using this cleansing water in foam form made me feel like I wasn't over-cleansing, which I appreciated. Usually, cleansing waters left my face feeling dry, but this product didn't cause any dryness at all, which was great. If I, with my dry skin, didn't feel any dryness, I think those with combination dehydrated or oily skin could use it without experiencing dryness as well. I recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle cleansing product to remove light makeup without irritation!
ConsIt stings if it gets in your eyes, so be careful to avoid eye contact when using it. There's a herbal or floral scent, but to me, it smells quite artificial and strong. I was worried the fragrance might irritate my skin, but it didn't cause any blemishes. However, I found the scent too strong for my liking.
TipOne pump is too little, while three pumps are too much and can get into your eyes, causing stinging. Two pumps seem to be the right amount. The foam quickly dissipates when rubbed with hands, so it's better to apply the foam directly to your face without lathering it in your hands.

First, let me describe my skin type: I have sensitive, oily, and atopic-prone skin. <Texture> The texture is truly unique and so easy to use! I typically use cleansing water, but I always had to buy a foam maker separately because using cotton pads to remove makeup can irritate my skin. I love that this product comes out as foam right from the start! <Experience> It's gentle! I didn't experience any tingling or allergic reactions. I think even those with super sensitive skin can use this product with peace of mind.
ConsFrom my perspective, there were quite a few disappointing aspects to this product... Firstly, the cleansing effectiveness is lacking. After using this product, it seems my base makeup wasn't removed properly, as I noticed blemishes appearing the very next day. Also, the strong fragrance was a bit overwhelming. I'm particularly sensitive to scents due to my fragrance allergy, and while fortunately I didn't have an allergic reaction, the scent was still quite challenging to deal with...
TipDue to its insufficient cleansing power for removing makeup, I've been using it in the morning. It seems to control oil well.

Fine foam texture I've always used cleansing oils, so this was my first time trying a cleansing water. I thought it might not cleanse as effectively as oil, but I was pleasantly surprised. Just one pump produces a lot of fine foam, giving the impression that it'll be gentle yet effective in cleansing. 2. Cleansing effectiveness I was worried it might foam well but not actually remove makeup properly. However, it cleanses thoroughly without needing a second cleanse with foam cleanser. It easily removes sunscreen, concealer, lip products, and more, leaving skin feeling clean and refreshed. Of course, I used a separate remover for heavy mascara, but considering how gentle the formula is, I'd say its cleansing power is quite impressive. 3. Low irritation Perhaps due to the gentle foam texture, it definitely feels less irritating on the skin. It's great for those with super sensitive skin.
ConsThe somewhat artificial scent can be off-putting. Also, this is just my personal preference, but I find flip-top lids inconvenient for products I keep by the sink. A one-piece cap would be more practical.
