Chemical sunscreens tend to make my skin feel hot, itchy, red, and cause white, fish roe-like blemishes. The ingredients in chemical sunscreens seem to be quite irritating for me. I was skeptical but decided to try this after watching Director Pi's YouTube review. I have to say, it's quite usable even for super sensitive skin like mine. While it's not completely irritation-free - I occasionally notice small blemishes in the evening - it's not problematic. There's no significant itching, and among the products I've tried, this one's pretty decent. I plan to keep using it.
ConsIt's not oil-free by any means. When applied, you can feel the richness to the point where your skin looks quite dewy. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, in summer, this provides enough moisture that I could finish my skincare routine with just a serum before applying this sunscreen. Also, it tends to pill when combined with certain incompatible formulas, like some moisturizers. You'll need to be careful if you're planning to apply makeup over it.
TipRemember to patch test any new sunscreen, especially if you have sensitive skin. It's also a good idea to layer your skincare products from thinnest to thickest consistency for better absorption and to minimize pilling.

There's absolutely no white cast, and it applies beautifully. It's perfect for those looking for a hydrating sunscreen without any chalkiness! I have dry, combination dehydrated skin that's super sensitive, and usually, my face reacts badly to products that don't suit me. However, this one didn't cause any breakouts, which was great! That said, you know that slight tingling sensation you get when applying emulsion to dry areas? I experienced a temporary feeling like that when using this sunscreen on drier parts of my face. Oh, and here's a really important tip! Before using, make sure the opening is facing upwards and give it a quick shake downwards. If you don't, the sunscreen might gush out when you open it, getting all over the cap and making it hard to control the amount. (Don't worry though, any product that gets on the cap dries up over time, making it easy to remove when you open it later.)
ConsThe watery consistency means that if you turn it upside down and open it, the product can spill out suddenly, which is a bit inconvenient. Also, while it's hydrating and contains organic UV filters, so there's a slight richness to it, I found that after the moisture absorbs, you're left with just the oily feeling on your face. It doesn't finish with that nice, powdery feel, which was a bit disappointing (it can feel a tad heavy because of this).
