  I had fond memories of using Scinic sunscreen before, so I was excited to try this one out. The small container makes it perfect for carrying around as a portable option. After trying it, I found it to be exactly the type of sunscreen formula I love, so I was quite satisfied. What I really appreciated was its non-whitening effect and how it lives up to its "sun essence" name with a hydrating texture. It's so easy to apply - you can just slather it on without worrying. The lightweight application gives you that "did I even put anything on?" feeling. If you're a fan of lightweight, hydrating sunscreens, I highly recommend this product. It's also great for applying before makeup!

  Pros

  Texture It's not so runny that it drips, but it does have a fluid consistency like an ampoule! It applies lightly on the skin. Feel I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it absorbs. The finish is quite fresh, so those with dry skin might not feel it's as moisturizing as they'd like. While I usually use a puff for sunscreen, I found applying this product with my hands works better. Using a puff caused some pilling with my makeup :( Blemishes I didn't experience any new blemishes while using this! No mosquito bite-like bumps or redness either!

  Cons

  In my experience, it doesn't pair well with puffs or sponges. It's best to let it fully absorb before applying makeup!

  Tip

  Even when adjusting the amount applied, it seems to cause some pilling during makeup application :( Even if it doesn't pill immediately, I noticed some lifting of the product later on!

  The absorbs is truly excellent. It applies lightly while leaving the skin feeling hydrated, resulting in a superior user experience. Moreover, it absorbs well, finishing with a fresh feel without any sticky residue. What's particularly nice is the subtle floral scent that lifts your mood during application. Given these qualities, I think many people could use this product without any strong likes or dislikes.

  Cons

  The 50ml volume might feel a bit small to some. Also, the round cap design doesn't allow it to stand upright, making it difficult to place on a vanity. You'll need to store it lying down.

  Tip

  When applying the essence, I use a flat foundation brush which gives a smooth application. Spreading it evenly across your entire face is most effective. It's particularly recommended to apply it 30 minutes before going out.

  First off, I have super sensitive, dry skin with some blemishes and acne scars, so I use products that target these concerns. 1. Feels like a skin emulsion When I first used this sun essence, I was really impressed by its water-like texture and how smoothly it applies. I'm not a fan of heavy products on my face, so I prefer gel-type creams or lightweight emulsions that provide good hydration. This product perfectly meets my needs with its fresh, light feel. 2. Moisturizing hydration I thought it might not feel as hydrating since it applies so lightly, but it actually provides a nice glow while functioning as a great hydrating essence. I went out wearing only the Hysinic Sun Essence for hours, and my skin didn't feel tight or dry at all! 3. Lightweight and portable packaging The container is so small and light, it fits easily into even a tiny purse! Portability is a key factor for me when buying sunscreen since I like to carry it around. The packaging is not only pretty but also black, which happens to be my style.   I've been using this product for about a week since receiving it. Scent: It has a clean fragrance that I don't think would be polarizing - I personally love it! It's really nice.   Forget about The Hwahae Testers, this is genuinely amazing. I'm the type to stock up on multiple bottles when I find a good sunscreen, and I'm settling on this one from now on. Texture: Light emulsion Hydration: Excellent As you can see from the photo, it feels just like applying an emulsion. It's moisturizing and lightweight. Unless you have extremely oily skin, this has a universally pleasing hydration level that everyone will appreciate. Sun Protection: Very Good SPF50, PA++++, and UV protection - it does its job effectively even with a thin layer. My skin burns easily in the sun, but this is definitely among the top performers in terms of protection among products on the market. User Experience: Outstanding I believe how a sunscreen feels after application is just as important as during. Some popular sunscreens feel heavy on the face no matter how thinly I apply them, but this one feels incredibly light without any discomfort. (This is what won me over.) I have dry skin, but it doesn't cause any uncomfortable dryness - it truly feels as soothing as applying an emulsion or essence. The price is also reasonable. Skin Reaction: Perfect When I go running, some sunscreens sting my eyes, but this doesn't at all. As you can see in the photo, there's absolutely no white cast. This means it has zero tone-up effect. As a result, it doesn't pill, making it great for frequent reapplication.
