  I had fond memories of using Scinic sunscreen before, so I was excited to try this one out. The small container makes it perfect for carrying around as a portable option. After trying it, I found it to be exactly the type of sunscreen formula I love, so I was quite satisfied. What I really appreciated was its non-whitening effect and how it lives up to its "sun essence" name with a hydrating texture. It's so easy to apply - you can just slather it on without worrying. The lightweight application gives you that "did I even put anything on?" feeling. If you're a fan of lightweight, hydrating sunscreens, I highly recommend this product. It's also great for applying before makeup!

  The absorbs well and isn't too sticky, which I absolutely loved! It feels just like applying a light moisturizer! I used to avoid sunscreens because while the very matte ones feel nice right after application, over time they would make the texture on my T-zone more noticeable. But this one doesn't get greasy at all. Instead, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated, which I'm really satisfied with!!!

  There weren't any downsides. I've been using it without any blemishes. Oh... the only disappointing thing was that the shape of the container means you can't stand it upright.

It's nearly fragrance-free with a light, refreshing feel that isn't heavy. Among sunscreens, this one has an exceptionally pleasant skin feel. Being an emulsion-type, it absorbs well and has great spreadability. It's neither drying nor greasy, but pleasantly moisturizing. Its hydrating quality makes it suitable for use before makeup. There was no pilling or eye irritation, and it's great for reapplication on-the-go. Perhaps due to its blue light protection and redness-calming effects, it didn't irritate my skin at all. With its gentle ingredients and non-irritating formula, I'm satisfied using this as my daily sunscreen!

Moreover, it absorbs well, finishing with a fresh feel without any sticky residue. What's particularly nice is the subtle floral scent that lifts your mood during application. Given these qualities, I think many people could use this product without any strong likes or dislikes.

  Cons

  The 50ml volume might feel a bit small to some. Also, the round cap design doesn't allow it to stand upright, making it difficult to place on a vanity. You'll need to store it lying down.

  As someone who swears by the original blue Scinic sunscreen as my holy grail, I naturally compared this new one to it. For my sensitive and dry skin, this sunscreen was a perfect match. No blemishes or redness popped up, so it passed the first test with flying colors! Being an essence, its texture is more fluid than the blue Scinic sunscreen. There's barely any scent, and it absorbs beautifully with a moisturizing, smooth application. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin, not heavy at all. Even when I layered it on (which I did because of its lightness), it never felt suffocating. One of the reasons I consider Scinic sunscreens my holy grail is how well makeup applies over them, and this Repair sunscreen doesn't disappoint in that department either. The glow it gives... oh my, it's stunningly beautiful. The black packaging looks sleek and luxurious. It's so pretty to carry around in your makeup pouch. Scinic sunscreens are truly the best!
