First off, I have combination dehydrated skin prone to acne! My skin is marked with blemishes and tends to flare up during my menstrual cycle, so I needed a cream to help with improving scars and pigmentation. I was lucky to try this product! Here's an honest list of the advantages I've noticed: ✅ Hygienic packaging I've used many creams before, and this type of packaging usually either lacks a spatula or requires separate storage. This product allows for internal storage, which is fantastic! Plus, the inner protective cap is integrated, allowing you to open and close it while keeping the spatula separate from the main product. I absolutely love this design! It feels like they've addressed all the hygiene concerns I've had with similar packaging. ✅ Vitamin capsules included As shown in the photo, it contains yellow vitamin capsules, which really fits the product name! Among products with this capsule formulation, some don't break easily when applied, but this one melts naturally as you spread it. No need to apply pressure - it spreads as smoothly as a regular cream, with the capsules dissolving effortlessly. ✅ Moisturizing effect The texture is closer to a rich nourishing cream than a lightweight moisturizer. It provides ample hydration when used alone, without any dryness. Yet it's not too heavy, making it perfect for evening use as a moisturizer! It doesn't leave an overly greasy feeling either. ✅ Pigmentation improvement It seems to have some effect on pigmentation, but I've only used it for a week, and it coincided with my menstrual cycle when my skin usually flares up, so I couldn't make a proper comparison. Hence, I didn't include skin photos. ✅ Gentle on blemish-prone skin Sometimes vitamin C products or rich creams can cause stinging or irritation if not used correctly, but this product was fine! I didn't experience any burning sensation. When applying, there was a very slight tingling typical of vitamin C products, but it wasn't irritating - rather, it felt like it contained a good amount of vitamin C. ❌ It might be quite rich for oily skin types in summer. For oily or combination dehydrated skin, it's great for spring and fall, but could be heavy in summer. It has perfect moisture content for dry skin types. As I have deep dryness, it didn't feel too heavy for me. ❌ The scent is a bit disappointing. It has a slightly mature fragrance, reminiscent of 'mom's cosmetics', which isn't really to my liking. There is a hint of the typical vitamin C scent, but it's somewhat overshadowed by the product's distinctive smell. It might be better to use this at night rather than during the day, considering the whitening and blemish-fighting effects of vitamin C! As I have blemish-prone skin, I'm using it alongside a blemish serum. The Bring Green Zinc Teca Serum tends to feel a bit drying when applied, so this product pairs well with it!
