Dalba never disappoints - it's a brand I can always count on! I'm such a fan of Dalba products that I always keep their mist in stock, purchased with my own money. This cream lives up to my expectations too. ✅ Application & Absorption Despite being packed with vitamin capsules, it glides on incredibly smoothly without any grittiness. I was worried it might feel heavy like a nourishing cream, but I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight it feels once applied. It absorbs well and keeps my skin feeling hydrated for a long time. Many creams in this category tend to pill, but this one doesn't - which is fantastic. ✅ Scent There's a subtle citrus aroma, probably due to the vitamin content. It's not overpowering, just noticeable while applying. Those who prefer completely unscented products might not love it, but as a citrus fan, I'm all for it! ✅ Results While it's too soon to see dramatic effects, I believe consistent use will yield positive results. I had been using a powdered vitamin product for brightening and complexion care, which was effective but tedious to use. I'm excited to switch to this more convenient option. I'm hoping it will help brighten my overall dull complexion. ✅ Packaging & Container I was genuinely impressed when I opened the container. Unlike most products where the spatula is separate and inconvenient to store, this one cleverly fits inside the lid. But what's even more amazing is that the protective cover is integrated with the jar! I used to discard the covers of other products because it was a hassle to remove and replace them, but this design is incredibly user-friendly. Absolutely brilliant idea! This cream is richer than I expected, so if you apply too much, it can be slow to absorb. I had to use less than I initially thought. It doesn't seem suitable for use before morning makeup - it's more appropriate as part of a nighttime routine. While it worked well for my extremely dry skin, those with oily skin might find it too rich. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 23, 2025
I recently had the opportunity to try out the d'Alba Vita Toning Capsule Cream as part of a product testing group for about a week. My skin tends to be quite dry and dull, so I've been on the lookout for a product that could provide both hydration and brightening effects. I'm thrilled to say this cream really hit the mark! First impressions were great - the packaging is luxurious, and the capsule formulation is quite innovative. It melts beautifully into the skin, absorbing well without feeling heavy. The moisturizing effect lasts for hours, which is perfect for my dehydrated skin. I especially loved using it in the morning before makeup - it creates a smooth base without any pilling, making it an ideal daily moisturizer. The cream contains vitamin C, glutathione, and niacinamide, which I believe contributed to a noticeable improvement in my complexion after just a few days of use. My skin looked clearer, and even my redness seemed to have calmed down a bit. What impressed me most was how gentle it was on my sensitive skin. There's hardly any artificial fragrance, and the low-irritation formula means even those with super sensitive skin can use it with confidence. While I was generally satisfied with the d'Alba Vita Toning Capsule Cream, there were a few minor drawbacks. The texture might be a bit rich for those with oily skin, potentially leading to a slightly greasy feel. The brightening effects aren't immediate - you'll need to use it consistently to see results. The price point is on the higher side, which might be a concern for budget-conscious shoppers. Lastly, with the tube packaging, sometimes it's tricky to get an even distribution of capsules. For best results, don't slather it on like a regular moisturizer. Instead, use a small, pea-sized amount and apply it in sections for better absorption. Try melting the capsules in your palms first before applying - this helps it spread more evenly and absorb faster. For all-day hydration, use a thin layer in the morning and a slightly more generous amount in the evening. When applying before makeup, remember that less is more - using too much could lead to pilling! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2025
As a member of The Hwahae Testers, I'll describe my honest experience with this product. Product: d'Alba Vita Toning Capsule Cream Skin type: Combination, oily T-zone & small blemishes Packaging: Let's talk about the container first. In terms of hygiene, it's a perfect 10 out of 10. As expected from d'Alba, it comes with an internal cap that's ideal for storing the spatula. This ensures you can use the cream without worrying about contamination! Texture: Cream type + Vita capsules. When you massage it in, the capsules burst and disappear without leaving any residue. Application: Upon initial application, it feels quite rich. It screams 'I'm full of moisture!' Although the texture before application is cream-like, the finish is more like an emulsion. This suggests it has excellent hydrating properties! Therefore, it seems perfect for nighttime care. Additionally, I have pigmentation, and I was prejudiced about frequent use of vitamin products due to concerns about skin irritation or peeling. I wasn't particularly drawn to vitamin ampoules or serums because of their unpleasant scent. However, this cream, despite containing vitamins, is fantastic to use without causing blemishes or irritation. The fragrance is also perfect - not unpleasant at all, which I love. As expected from d'Alba... The product is truly excellent, but the price is wicked. It's still difficult for me to purchase with my own money, so it seems like a brand more suitable for those with disposable income or middle-aged consumers. Also, due to its rich texture, it might feel heavy for those with oily skin. Highly recommended for nighttime care! - Given its rich texture and noticeable weight, it seems more suitable for nighttime care rather than daily use. - The vitamin content seems lower than expected, so using it with an ampoule or serum might help with brightening or spot care. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 9, 2025
First off, I received this in a jar form. The container itself feels smooth and luxurious, making it perfect for gifting. While jar products can sometimes raise hygiene concerns, this one comes with a spatula that fits neatly into its own compartment, which is reassuring. The formula is a white cream with little yellow beads embedded in it. Unlike some vitamin products that have an unpleasant scent, this one has a refreshing fragrance that I personally enjoyed. The yellow beads melt with your body heat and absorb into your skin without any irritation. I was pleasantly surprised by its moisturizing power. Unlike other vitamin products I've used that felt sticky or sat on top of the skin, this one provides ample hydration without any stickiness. It doesn't finish super light, but it keeps your skin feeling moisturized, which I appreciated. As for its brightening effects, while I didn't wake up with dramatically whiter skin, I did notice my complexion looked more radiant. It definitely gives a glow and makes your skin look more vibrant. Given that it's a rich, moisturizing cream, it does leave a bit of an oily feeling. The price point is on the higher side, so it might be best to grab it when it's on sale. It's also a product where you might want to take a closer look at the ingredients to check for any potential allergies or incompatibilities. Since it's a vitamin product and a heavier cream, I'd recommend using it as part of your night care routine rather than for everyday use. You can feel the beads bursting as you apply it, which seems to help it absorb better. The packaging and texture make it appealing to a wide range of age groups, and it would make a satisfying gift. I hope my review helps those considering purchasing this product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
- I have acne-prone, slightly oily, and dehydrated skin! - The product: Oh my, the product! I was amazed to see the spatula conveniently attached to the lid...😭 With other products, I often found the spatula inconvenient and ended up discarding it, using my fingers instead. But that would get messy and I didn't like it. From this point alone, I'm already so satisfied using it! The outer packaging also looks very luxurious and nice. - The contents: The scent is that of a high-end cosmetic. It's not like the 'grown-up' makeup smell from childhood, but more of a harmony between a mature scent and a baby scent...? It wasn't bad at all! When I first applied it to my skin, I was worried about feeling a grainy texture, but the yellow particles just seemed to find their place and absorb smoothly. I loved how it finished with a soft, silky feel while simultaneously making my skin feel firm deep down! As I'm getting older, I've been concerned about age spots and pores becoming more noticeable. I'm happy because I feel like my skin has improved thanks to the effect of those particles! If you apply too much, it can finish a bit oily... The skin feels quite rich. As a result, it can cause makeup to pill, If you take the time to spread it thinly, it finishes with a nice firmness. While it's fine now with the cool winds, it might be a bit heavy for summer use. Controlling the amount will be essential...! Since it's pricier compared to other lines, I find myself unconsciously applying it sparingly... - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMay 9, 2025
Usage Duration: Used daily in my night routine for 16 days! Packaging: The packaging looks truly luxurious and high-end! When you open it, there's a plastic cover separating the product and lid, and it even comes with a spoon - I really appreciated this attention to detail in the packaging! Application: Despite being a cream, it spreads surprisingly smoothly! It felt like it was giving my skin a firm, protective coating. I loved how it seemed to lock in the ingredients from the serums/ampoules applied in previous steps, enveloping the skin. The capsules burst naturally, blending the active ingredients nicely with the cream. Texture: It has a somewhat rich texture. It's perfect for a night routine rather than daytime use. Those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy. Even after waking up, my skin still had that unique coated feeling and retained its moisture! Ingredients: As someone with sensitive skin, this product was gentle on me. The texture is incredibly hydrating, which might be why my skin felt so comfortable! Effectiveness: After discontinuing another Vitamin C serum, this cream was the only brightening product in my routine for two weeks. My complexion definitely seems brighter and clearer! While I'm not sure if it's because I stopped using the other serum and then this cream helped brighten my skin again, I definitely noticed an improvement in my skin tone. Scent: The fragrance is subtle - a faint, fresh blend of herbs and lemon. Personally, I enjoyed the scent. Stickiness: This product definitely has a rich feel and stickiness, so keep that in mind if you don't like a tacky finish. Price: The price is quite hefty. I'm not sure it's worth buying at full price, but I would consider repurchasing when it's on sale. This works better in a nighttime skincare routine rather than in the morning. Since it contains vitamin ingredients, make sure to use sun protection during the day! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2025
Best features: There are so many yellow capsules in this cream! With other products I've used, sometimes you'd get a bunch of capsules and other times just white cream, which was disappointing. But with this Dalba cream, the capsules are evenly and generously distributed throughout. I love it. The packaging is also incredibly convenient, so I'll probably use this cream for my night care routine for a while. Texture: It has yellow capsules that you can feel when you first apply it, but as you spread it out, they dissolve completely, leaving an incredibly smooth application. After it's fully absorbed, it's not sticky at all and leaves your skin feeling hydrated, which I really like. Scent: I expected a citrusy scent typical of vitamin C creams, but it's not like that at all. It has a lovely, subtle fragrance similar to a nice hand cream. You can only really smell it when you're about to apply it, and after application, it's so faint that you have to really try to notice it. Even though I have a sensitive nose, I think this level of fragrance would be fine for those who are sensitive to scents. Packaging: It's absolutely amazing. I'm impressed every time I use it. As you can see in the third photo, the transparent cap is attached to the container, which is very hygienic. Instead of the usual small, clear spatula, it comes with a flat white one that fits perfectly on top of the hygiene cap. This means you don't have to rummage around to find the spatula every time you use it, which is super convenient. I really wish all cosmetic companies would do this like Dalba! Repurchase intention: If there's a big sale, I'll definitely buy it again! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I need to make sure I get enough hydration, and this cream satisfies both my vitamin and moisture needs. I think it'll be perfect for the upcoming summer. However, as someone in their 20s, the price is a bit steep. Other than the price, it's a flawless product! Drawbacks: So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes or issues while using it. However, it is quite rich, so I recommend using it like a sleeping pack at night. Recommendation: Although it's a bit pricey, I feel like I've seen good results, so I recommend it to those looking for a vitamin cream for summer night care! Even though it's a vitamin cream, it also functions as a hydrating moisturizer, so I especially recommend it for those with dry or combination dehydrated skin. Since it's on the pricier side, I think it's best to apply a small amount every night. I was satisfied with the results when I layered it a bit more on areas with pigmentation or slightly darker spots, as it seemed to brighten my overall complexion. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2025
Hydration power: I applied two layers before bed, and when I woke up in the morning, there was absolutely no deep dryness. It doesn't just make your skin look shiny on the surface, but gives a feeling of moisturizing deep down. It's perfect when used as a finishing touch like a sleeping mask. Application: It's quite fun to feel the capsules popping and mixing as you apply. When you warm it up in your hands and apply, it adheres smoothly without any pilling or stiffness. It spreads really softly when you're putting it on. Absorption: Although the texture is slightly rich, it quickly absorbs into the skin. Even when used before makeup, there's no pilling and foundation seems to apply well! (It can pill if you apply too much though..) This might be perfect for those who love that Inner Glow skin look. Subtle glow: It's not a shiny, glossy look on the surface, but rather a subtle, dewy glow that seems to come from within. The fragrance is a fresh citrus scent, making it pleasant and easy to use. Packaging details: When you open the lid, there's an inner protective cap attached to the main container, so you don't have to worry about losing it. It's easy to put back on after use, and the hygienic closing mechanism shows they've really put thought into the design. Might be slightly heavy for oily skin in summer: If you have oily skin, it might feel a bit rich during summer days. That's why I only use it at night. I think it would be fine for dry skin types all year round! It's great to use straight from the refrigerator for a nice cooling effect. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 8, 2025
Skin Type: I have generally dry skin, but with some oiliness in the T-zone. In summer, I use mostly lightweight hydrating creams, while in spring, fall, and winter, I opt for richer creams due to increased dryness. My skin is naturally fair, so I've been concerned about visible blemish marks, scars, and freckles that appear due to hormonal changes during my menstrual cycle. Previous Products: I've been a fan of Dalba products, using their sunscreen, mist, hand cream, and other items. For this review, I used only the Dalba Aromatic Mist Serum and this product. During particularly dry winter periods, I used the mist with Dalba Double Cream and was extremely satisfied. So, I had high expectations for this product! To sum it up, if you've been pleased with Dalba products before, I think you'll love this one too. Packaging: While I generally prefer tubes for hygiene reasons, jars are better for using up every last bit of product. This packaging satisfies both concerns with an inner lid for easy opening/closing, in addition to the outer lid and spatula. Application, Scent, Hydration/Richness: The white cream contains vitamin capsules that melt smoothly when applied. It spreads very easily and has a refreshing vitamin-like scent. Dalba products generally strike a great balance with fragrance - pleasant without being overwhelming. I have very dry skin in spring, fall, and winter, but good oil-moisture balance in summer. This product provided sufficient hydration and richness even for my dry skin in April. Those with less dry skin might find it a bit rich except during very dry periods. Improvement in Blemishes and Wrinkles: Being quite rich, I expected it to help with wrinkles. I applied it diligently to my neck, where I'm concerned about wrinkles, and surprisingly, I felt like it helped fill in some of the deeper lines. While it's difficult to improve existing neck wrinkles, it seemed effective in preventing further deterioration. As for my freckles and blemish marks, while the change wasn't dramatic, I noticed an overall brightening of my complexion which seemed to improve these concerns as well. Conclusion: - Recommended for those who experience significant dryness - Noticeable wrinkle improvement - Complexion improvement (skin looks clearer) I didn't find the price to be an issue, as it's in line with other Dalba products, which maintain high quality. It seemed appropriate for consumers in my age range (20s-30s). However, my skin is sensitive to pore-clogging ingredients. Whether due to my skin condition at the time or excess oiliness, I experienced some small blemishes on my cheeks - the kind that appear when pores get clogged. This wasn't an issue on other parts of my face or neck, just the cheeks and around the nose. I'll need to use it for a longer period to confirm if this is an ongoing concern. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinMay 7, 2025
I used this product intensively every evening for about 2 weeks from April 22nd to May 6th. I've often used d'Alba's famous mist line, but lately my complexion has been a bit dull. I heard their vitamin functional products were good, so I decided to give this a try! The main functional ingredients are for anti-aging, dark spots, wrinkles, and improving skin tone. It's a vitamin product that combines Vita capsules with a brightening moisturizer for effectiveness. It contains various ingredients like Vitamins E and K, glutathione, liposomal vitamins, etc. Personally, I have super sensitive skin, so I just hoped it wouldn't cause irritation. Since it's sensitive to UV rays, I only used it as part of my night care routine. - Packaging The product I used comes in a jar. It's packaged in a box with a separate lid. The good thing is that there's an additional built-in inner lid that's sturdy and perfectly designed to store the spatula, which was very convenient. - Scent and Texture When you first open the lid, you're greeted with a fresh citrusy scent, similar to yuzu. I've heard that fragrances in skincare products can cause irritation, but this level was pleasant when applying and didn't irritate my skin. The texture was easy to scoop with the spatula. I used about a coin-sized amount per application, which had a good balance of hydration and richness. Even those with combination dehydrated skin could comfortably apply this as part of their night care routine. - User Experience Personally, I find creams that are even slightly too rich can feel heavy and cause blemishes the next day. However, this product seems well-balanced. It absorbs well overnight, leaving my skin smooth and soft in the morning. It might feel a bit slick at first, but it absorbs quickly. The yellow capsules you see initially seem to melt into the skin, leaving only their fragrance behind! After two weeks of use, I noticed significant improvements in my skin tone, texture, and hydration. While I haven't seen effects on dark spots or anti-aging yet, I believe continued use will definitely help. Most importantly, as someone with super sensitive skin, I'm satisfied that I didn't experience any blemishes while using this functional product. Since it's a vitamin product, you need to be diligent with sun protection during the day. For men with combination dehydrated skin, it might feel a bit heavy for daily use, so I only used it for night care. I felt like it would be too rich if used during the day. While I found the scent just right, some people might have strong opinions about the citrus fragrance. The product's functionality and effectiveness seem really good, but the price is a bit high. It might be difficult to use consistently if purchasing at full price... As mentioned earlier, it's slightly rich, so after evening cleansing, I applied it in this order: Toner → Basic hydrating ampoule → d'Alba Vita Toning Cream This routine alone feels like using both a hydrating cream and a vitamin cream, so you can definitely experience the hydrating and brightening effects!
