My chin felt a bit itchy, and I ended up with one inflamed spot and one small bump there. I also got some inflamed bumps on my forehead. On the bright side, this sunscreen is definitely easier to remove compared to others, which I really appreciate. The brightening effect is also quite natural. After using a purple sunscreen that didn't look great on me, this green one was a significant improvement. The complexion it gives is so natural that on days when I'm too lazy to put on makeup, I can just apply this sunscreen and head out.
ConsI'm giving it 2 points because it caused blemishes. Also, after some time, the pores around my nose become really noticeable. I was shocked when I looked in the mirror.
TipWhen choosing a sunscreen, it's important to consider factors beyond just sun protection. While this product has some positive aspects like easy removal and a natural brightening effect, its tendency to cause blemishes and emphasize pores might be deal-breakers for those with sensitive or blemish-prone skin. Always patch test new products and pay attention to how your skin reacts over time.

I highly recommend it 🤍 It's rare for me to write such a strong review, but I really love it and strongly recommend it. The tone-up sunscreen I was using before was a department store brand, but now I'm going to switch to this one. I'll leave a review after using it for 2 weeks! ✔️ Tone-up function: It evens out my skin tone naturally, without looking artificial. It adheres well to my skin, and the redness from my slight flushing is perfectly covered, making my skin look brighter. The tone-up effect also seems to last quite well - even after just applying the sunscreen and going to work, the tone doesn't get darker by the time I leave the office. ✔️ Application: It applies smoothly without clogging pores. Even when applying a generous amount, it doesn't feel heavy or cakey. ✔️ Oil control: The low oil content is particularly pleasing to me. It doesn't have a completely matte finish, but it's not sticky or greasy either - it has a nice, supple finish. I was worried about oil buildup, but compared to other dewy tone-up sunscreens, the oil doesn't come through as much. By the end of the day, my T-zone does get a bit shiny, but it's more of a healthy glow rather than an oily mess, which is a big plus for my combination skin. ✔️ Makeup compatibility: It works well under makeup and doesn't cause pilling. The makeup also stays in place nicely. It's great for prepping the skin before makeup, helping to even out the tone, and has versatile uses.
ConsThe price seems a bit high compared to the quantity. I think I'll use it up quickly, but the price is a bit disappointing.

Tone-up Effect I prefer the green color tone-up as my flushing is quite severe, but it doesn't appear too pale and effectively covers the flushing!! 2. Application It applies smoothly at first!!!!! However, as time passes, the formula sets, so it's better to spread it thinly and quickly~ 3. Coverage The color itself is not ivory-toned, so the coverage is not very high, making it more suitable for lightly applying over cushion or foundation. It just helps to naturally reduce the appearance of flushing! 4. Irritation There was absolutely no irritation!! No feeling of heaviness on the skin. 5. Fragrance The fragrance is almost non-existent, so there was no disturbance at all!
ConsAt first, it feels adequately moist when applied, but as time passes during application, it becomes drying, making it difficult to spread evenly. I recommend squeezing out a small amount at a time rather than a large amount. When it becomes difficult to spread, there is a slightly uneven application, and it feels like it gets stuck in the pores around the nose (probably because of the large pores)... When the exfoliation is not done well, it clings to the skin...
TipApply a small amount at a time instead of applying a large amount all at once!

Skin type: Large pores, slightly flushed cheeks 1. Texture: The formula is very moisturizing, so it doesn't feel dry or flaky. When used after skincare, the skin doesn't feel tight or dull, so it seems like a good product for dry skin types. 2. Brightening: It finishes naturally and smoothly. Since it's green-tinted, it helps to naturally cover the redness on my flushed cheeks. 3. Longevity: The moisturizing effect definitely lasts a long time. My oily skin tends to get shiny later on, but the moisturizing feel persists quite well. 4. When layered, it doesn't feel thick or heavy on top of previous product. The brightening effect and dewy glow are maintained similarly to the initial application.
ConsAdmittedly, as the product is quite moisturizing and hydrating, the lasting power of the tone-up effect was a bit disappointing compared to the moisture level. After around 4 hours, the skin gradually reverts to its original complexion. The hydration is truly long-lasting, but the tone-up effect is a bit lacking.
TipFor skin like mine that is prone to oiliness, it's best to use blotting paper to remove excess oil before applying makeup. This will result in a much lighter application compared to applying powder first and then makeup.

I currently have a bit of whitening, so I may be feeling this way, but I am satisfied with this aspect.
Consi was hoping the green sunscreen would conceal the redness, but it didn't have much of an effect. haha. after all, it's still sunscreen. but it's still better than the non-green ones. overall, it seems to provide a natural-looking tone-up. i felt it was a bit drying. matte-like? you could say it's powdery in a good way or dry in a bad way. since the assessment might change when i use it in the summer, i'll hold off on that for now!

ConsAfter use, there was a feeling of oiliness in the T-zone. There was a slight eye irritation.
TipSpread it thinly and apply an additional layer on top, and it had great staying power!

It has an appropriate amount of moisture and oil, and the tone correction is not too noticeable, but it definitely makes a difference.🫠 Compared to the purple sunscreen, this one has a different tone-up and tone correction, which is great for days with a lot of redness or when you want a more natural tone-up and even skin tone.🤭 As shown in the product image, the soft green/light green color effectively neutralizes redness while providing a hydrating yet non-heavy formula, which I'm really satisfied with.🫶 I had previously loved the purple sunscreen too, so I don't have much more to say.ㅠ🥹 It seems the two have distinct advantages.😅 Depending on how I want to do my base makeup that day, I simply reach for the color that suits me best.😉 I always love using them.🤭
ConsI'm so satisfied that the only downside is that it's a bit inconvenient to open and close the lid by twisting it...🫣..that's all.
TipFor those who find it bothersome to apply products but are concerned about their skin, and know they should wear sunscreen but worry about it making their skin look shiny, I recommend trying a cushion foundation. As the weather is starting to get warmer, you can simply apply a green-tinted sunscreen and lightly dust on some powder for a natural, perfected complexion - an easy cushion foundation routine completed.

In addition to UV protection, it also effectively corrects skin tone. Yay! It provides a natural tone-up effect and a moisturizing application, especially suitable for warm-toned skin. ❤️Natural Tone-Up Effect: The full-color formula naturally corrects the skin's unevenness, making warm-toned skin appear more refined and organized. 💛Moisturizing Application and Refreshing Finish: The formula is as thin as an essence. It applies smoothly and finishes off without any stickiness, allowing it to be used as a pre-makeup step without any issues. 💚I've become particularly sensitive to sunscreens lately, but the Hwahae one didn't cause any trouble with milia and didn't irritate the eye area either. 👍
ConsIf you hastily apply makeup without first allowing the product to be absorbed into the skin, certain areas may experience a lifting or peeling effect.
TipApply in thin layers: Rather than applying a large amount at once, it is better to apply in multiple thin layers.

I was worried that the tone-up sunscreen with green tones would look artificial, but it doesn't look artificial or pale. It just evens out the redness nicely and gives a pretty tone-up effect. The tone-up level is just right and easy to adjust. When I apply it once, it subtly brightens my complexion, and when I apply it twice, it noticeably brightens. Compared to other tone-up sunscreens, this one has decent coverage.
Cons- If you rub it on, there will be clogged pores. When I applied it once, there was none, but since the tone-up effect was clear, I reapplied it and had clogged pores. I recommend patting it on like applying foundation. - It has a slight stickiness and oiliness. I have an oily skin type and like a matte finish, so I used it with powder. If you're looking for a product that finishes with a fresh, matte look, you may want to avoid this.

At first, I failed to adjust the amount properly and became a 'ghost egg' due to the intense brightening effect, which really flustered me. However, I had no time to wipe it off and reapply, so I went out as is. But as time passed, it became surprisingly natural-looking, and I even thought the skin expression looked great, as if I had only applied sunscreen (in the third photo). Therefore, I decided to give this sunscreen a passing grade. For the past 2 weeks, I've been using this sunscreen every time I go out, not only for the review but also because I've grown quite fond of it. The color-correcting effect of the green-tinted sunscreen helps control the redness, evening out the skin tone, and the brightening function makes the face look radiant. While it doesn't provide much coverage for blemishes, it actually creates a more natural, clear, and translucent skin appearance. Applying it feels like becoming a soft and chewy rice cake, which I really enjoy.
ConsOn the day I took the photos, it was the first time I applied this product. At first, I failed to control the amount and applied too much, which may have caused it to appear a bit uneven as time passed (4th photo). There was also some peeling of the skin. After adjusting the amount, the issue didn't become as severe, but the sunscreen still seems to leave some peeling, which is not ideal. It's also a bit disappointing that it creases a little on the eyebrows. The tone-up effect is quite noticeable, but this leads to a difference in color between my face, ears, and neck. While it blends in more naturally over time, the contrast was quite stark initially. Since I'm generally conscious of this issue, I use a separate tone-up cream without color for my neck.
TipThis product is good for using as a Hwahae-free tone-up sun cream. It creates the illusion that the clear, transparent, and radiant skin is my bare face, haha. However, it's better to pay a bit more attention to managing dead skin cells. I was satisfied even when I applied the sun cream and did a light powder treatment! The pretty look seems to last longer~
