Cons☑️ It sets quickly, so apply swiftly for even coverage! When I first used it, it felt a bit stiff and set rapidly. It was perfect when my skin was on the oilier side. Those with dry skin might find it matte or drying, so I'd recommend using it in summer or after a thorough skincare routine. Also, exfoliate or use products to smooth out dead skin cells before application to prevent flaking. ☑️ The scent is reminiscent of clay It doesn't seem to have added fragrance, making it suitable for those who dislike strong scents. Even as someone who's not fond of intense fragrances, I found it tolerable.
TipRecommended for oily skin types! Best used during summer! If you decide to use it, make sure to apply it over a solid skincare base! Instead of squeezing it onto the back of your hand and applying it all at once, I suggest layering it thinly on your face! It sets quite quickly, so applying small amounts works best! When I applied this sunscreen and then used a cushion foundation, it felt quite matte. When trying to cover pores on my cheekbones by pressing the cushion, it tended to pill a bit. It's better to pat the product on gently rather than rubbing it in.

Blemish marks are naturally covered, giving a natural 'bare face' look, yet the coverage is surprisingly good. 💜Excellent absorption. There is almost no sticky or heavy feeling after application, and the oil content is not excessive, making it perfect for daily use. It mixes well with other base products without pilling. 💜Even with my sensitive skin, I experienced no breakouts when using this product! I think this is a product that those with easily irritated skin can try without worry.
ConsThe capacity is 50ml, so it feels like it gets used up a bit quickly. The cost-effectiveness was a bit disappointing, and the texture was a bit watery, so as soon as you open the lid, a lot comes out... If you can't control it well, you may fail to control the amount.

The green one is much more moisturizing and has a better application. And since it contains cica ingredients, there's a refreshing sensation when applying it. My face immediately looks brighter, and the green color seems to do a great job of correcting yellow undertones. There's also a healthy glow to my skin! I think I'll continue using this until the summer arrives. Two layers provide a subtle yet effective coverage, so be sure to apply it evenly and let it absorb well!
ConsHwahae is a mixed sunscreen, so it has a bit more stickiness and greasiness compared to physical sunscreens. Additionally, as a tone-up sunscreen, the tone-up effect fades over time, so you need to reapply it before the tone-up function diminishes. As the weather gets warmer, oil quickly builds up on the face, so you need to use Hwahae in a way that effectively controls that oiliness.
TipTone-up sunscreens can easily cause breakouts if not removed properly. Double cleansing is an absolute must. I use a cleansing oil followed by a mildly alkaline cleansing foam for double cleansing, and this helps reduce breakouts. This product seems to cleanse well for a tone-up sunscreen, so I'm quite satisfied with it.

It was great that it corrected the color naturally without any white cast. I have very sensitive eyes, but there was no eye irritation at all, and it seems the centella asiatica ingredient that is suitable for my skin helped prevent any breakouts. It applies smoothly like a lotion and has good lasting power even on humid days.
ConsAlthough using a skincare product with high viscosity can cause clumping, other products did not have this issue. However, the same basic skincare product has resulted in the clumping problem.
TipSince my skin has become brighter, it's best to apply foundation thinly. Be quick when applying the product to avoid uneven coverage.

It has an appropriate amount of moisture and oil, and the tone correction is not too noticeable, but it definitely makes a difference.🫠 Compared to the purple sunscreen, this one has a different tone-up and tone correction, which is great for days with a lot of redness or when you want a more natural tone-up and even skin tone.🤭 As shown in the product image, the soft green/light green color effectively neutralizes redness while providing a hydrating yet non-heavy formula, which I'm really satisfied with.🫶 I had previously loved the purple sunscreen too, so I don't have much more to say.ㅠ🥹 It seems the two have distinct advantages.😅 Depending on how I want to do my base makeup that day, I simply reach for the color that suits me best.😉 I always love using them.🤭
ConsI'm so satisfied that the only downside is that it's a bit inconvenient to open and close the lid by twisting it...🫣..that's all.
TipFor those who find it bothersome to apply products but are concerned about their skin, and know they should wear sunscreen but worry about it making their skin look shiny, I recommend trying a cushion foundation. As the weather is starting to get warmer, you can simply apply a green-tinted sunscreen and lightly dust on some powder for a natural, perfected complexion - an easy cushion foundation routine completed.

In addition to UV protection, it also effectively corrects skin tone. Yay! It provides a natural tone-up effect and a moisturizing application, especially suitable for warm-toned skin. ❤️Natural Tone-Up Effect: The full-color formula naturally corrects the skin's unevenness, making warm-toned skin appear more refined and organized. 💛Moisturizing Application and Refreshing Finish: The formula is as thin as an essence. It applies smoothly and finishes off without any stickiness, allowing it to be used as a pre-makeup step without any issues. 💚I've become particularly sensitive to sunscreens lately, but the Hwahae one didn't cause any trouble with milia and didn't irritate the eye area either. 👍
ConsIf you hastily apply makeup without first allowing the product to be absorbed into the skin, certain areas may experience a lifting or peeling effect.
TipApply in thin layers: Rather than applying a large amount at once, it is better to apply in multiple thin layers.

Overall: It is moisturizing and has a definite tone-correcting effect. The lasting power is excellent! The downside is that it washes off easily with water and there is a possibility of oiliness appearing on oily or combination skin types, which is a bit disappointing.😢 1️⃣ Texture The product has a moisturizing and thinly spreadable texture. I tried applying it with my hands and with a spatula, and I found that using the spatula resulted in a more even application. Since the product is a mixed formula with a tone-correcting effect, when I applied it with my hands, there were some uneven patches. But when I spread it evenly on my skin with the spatula, it applied smoothly without any clumping. 2️⃣ Tone Correction & Lasting Power The tone-correcting effect was definitely noticeable (see photo reference). At first, the difference between my face and neck seemed quite stark, but over time, the product blended in well and the tone-up effect was not overpowering. I was particularly satisfied with the lasting power! There was no darkening or fading, and the tone-up effect was well-maintained. 3️⃣ Fragrance & Packaging The product is fragrance-free, so it should be suitable for those sensitive to scents. The packaging is an opaque container, so even when held up to the light, the contents are not visible. This means I can't visually check how much is left, but it also means the product is less exposed to sunlight, which is a positive.
ConsThe disappointing aspect was that it washed off easily in water. After brushing my teeth, the area around my mouth was completely wiped off...! And I have combination skin, but my skin produced excess oil after using this product. I had to blot the oil more frequently.😿

I was worried that the tone-up sunscreen with green tones would look artificial, but it doesn't look artificial or pale. It just evens out the redness nicely and gives a pretty tone-up effect. The tone-up level is just right and easy to adjust. When I apply it once, it subtly brightens my complexion, and when I apply it twice, it noticeably brightens. Compared to other tone-up sunscreens, this one has decent coverage.
Cons- If you rub it on, there will be clogged pores. When I applied it once, there was none, but since the tone-up effect was clear, I reapplied it and had clogged pores. I recommend patting it on like applying foundation. - It has a slight stickiness and oiliness. I have an oily skin type and like a matte finish, so I used it with powder. If you're looking for a product that finishes with a fresh, matte look, you may want to avoid this.

Cons*As summer approaches with its intense sunlight, applying a bit too much can lead to pilling or separation. *On dry days, even when you think you've applied enough moisturizer, the sunscreen can still clump up. *Because it absorbs so quickly, you need to apply a small amount in thin layers.
TipTip I've learned: Instead of patting, quickly spread small amounts on the cheeks, forehead, and chin in swift, sweeping motions for better absorption.

At first, I failed to adjust the amount properly and became a 'ghost egg' due to the intense brightening effect, which really flustered me. However, I had no time to wipe it off and reapply, so I went out as is. But as time passed, it became surprisingly natural-looking, and I even thought the skin expression looked great, as if I had only applied sunscreen (in the third photo). Therefore, I decided to give this sunscreen a passing grade. For the past 2 weeks, I've been using this sunscreen every time I go out, not only for the review but also because I've grown quite fond of it. The color-correcting effect of the green-tinted sunscreen helps control the redness, evening out the skin tone, and the brightening function makes the face look radiant. While it doesn't provide much coverage for blemishes, it actually creates a more natural, clear, and translucent skin appearance. Applying it feels like becoming a soft and chewy rice cake, which I really enjoy.
ConsOn the day I took the photos, it was the first time I applied this product. At first, I failed to control the amount and applied too much, which may have caused it to appear a bit uneven as time passed (4th photo). There was also some peeling of the skin. After adjusting the amount, the issue didn't become as severe, but the sunscreen still seems to leave some peeling, which is not ideal. It's also a bit disappointing that it creases a little on the eyebrows. The tone-up effect is quite noticeable, but this leads to a difference in color between my face, ears, and neck. While it blends in more naturally over time, the contrast was quite stark initially. Since I'm generally conscious of this issue, I use a separate tone-up cream without color for my neck.
TipThis product is good for using as a Hwahae-free tone-up sun cream. It creates the illusion that the clear, transparent, and radiant skin is my bare face, haha. However, it's better to pay a bit more attention to managing dead skin cells. I was satisfied even when I applied the sun cream and did a light powder treatment! The pretty look seems to last longer~
