I thought it would be a lightweight formula like a toner, but it's incredibly light yet also moisturizing! I've been using the Dokdo Toner, and that product's downside is that it's really watery, so it doesn't provide much moisturizing, but this serum has helped moisturize my skin from the very beginning! Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but while a toner alone isn't enough for sufficient moisture, this serum adheres to the skin refreshingly well, and I really liked that!
ConsIn fact, I had expected the cooling effect the most, but that was a bit disappointing. It adheres well to the skin, but I felt that it was lacking in lowering the temperature of my flushed face.
TipIn the summer, no matter how dry the skin is, when you apply cream and makeup, the sebum rises excessively, reducing the staying power, so you need to thoroughly moisturize and reduce the weight of the base. This product was a great help in doing that! The Dokdo Toner - just applying the Toridden Serum and finishing was making my face too dry, but after applying the Cellufusion Serum and then the Toridden Serum, my skin became light but moisturized! For extremely dry skin like mine, finishing with a moisturizing sunscreen like the Birch Sap Sunscreen results in a firm, perfectly-matched base skin!!!!!!

However, when I saw the event for Cellpion's Cooling Skin Booster Serum, I applied and won, and I would like to write a genuine review after using it for nearly 2 weeks. 🔹Spreadability The formula flows like water and spreads smoothly on the skin without any stickiness. 🔹Absorption With its watery formula, it absorbs into the skin immediately without any residue. Even when I apply it multiple times, it absorbs really well, so it seems like a great formula for the summer when heavy textures are difficult to use, helping to relieve the dryness inside. 🔹Redness, Pore Reduction I didn't see significant effects on redness or pore reduction. 🥹 Given my current poor skin condition, there was no noticeable improvement, but there was definitely a difference in the dryness inside when I used this product or not, so I find myself reaching for it whenever I do my skincare routine. 🔹Recommendation This is one of the few products that I can recommend for dry, oily, and combination skin types. I highly recommend it to those looking for a lightweight serum to address inner dryness. I first came across the Cellpion brand in 2017 through their cooling sheet mask, but I didn't use the brand much after that because the mask caused redness and irritation instead of calming. 🥹 However, this Cooling Skin Booster Serum has changed my perception of the Cellpion brand. Just as the name suggests, it effectively addresses the cooling and dryness, and I was able to use it without any irritation, which I really enjoyed. I recommend this to anyone looking for a lightweight skincare option for the summer.
ConsThere were no particular disappointments! It was an overall satisfactory product.

However, this product has a gentle, refreshing cooling effect without that feeling, which I really liked! And when I layer other products on top after applying this, I definitely notice a more plump, bouncy texture compared to my usual routine. I think this will be helpful in addressing any underlying dryness.
ConsWhen used alone, it feels fresh and good, but when applying the usual moisturizer or serum on top, it can feel a bit sticky. It becomes quite dense, so before it's fully absorbed, there's a sense of the hair sticking to it... It's kind of that kind of feeling.
TipSince I have dry skin, I usually don't use products that are extremely moisturizing, but I prefer using ones that are moisturizing while leaving a refreshing finish. However, I find that using those products is particularly nice on dry days.

I was surprised that the texture was different from what I had expected. I thought it would be a very lightweight spray type since there were keywords like 'cooling pores', but both were unexpected. First of all, it's a liquid that pours out smoothly, and while the texture does flow like water, it's not lightweight at all, which was perfect for my dry skin!! It's a formula that also provides moisture!! Since it cares for both moisture and pores, I apply 2-3 layers before makeup and it works great. It's not extremely hot yet, and my home is on the colder side, so I'm not sure about the dramatic cooling effect, but I think I'll be able to use it as a base step even in the peak of summer.
ConsI had wanted to spray it on like a mist, but... there must have been a reason why it was made for pumping~
TipWhen drying your hair, soak a cotton pad in it and place it on your face - this prevents your skin from becoming dry!!

First, my skin type is dry-combination, so when choosing a toner or serum, it is most important that it resolves dryness and has good absorption. The product name is Skin Boost Serum, but when used like a toner after cleansing, the advantages are: 1. The absorption is really good. So when applying the toner, there is a very dense, plump feeling. Because the absorption is good, even if applied multiple times, it all gets absorbed. I think it's difficult for the average person to measure pore reduction without specialized equipment. However, the dense, plump application makes my pores feel reduced, which feels very nice. 2. As the name suggests, there is a cooling sensation. At first, I was worried because I didn't like the toothpaste-like tingling sensation, but there is no chemical feeling, just a cool sensation, which will be perfect for the hot summer. The blue bottle color also makes me feel refreshed. My skin is dry-combination and I love taking hot showers, so my face is always red after showering. But when I layer this serum multiple times, the heat sensation is greatly soothed. 3. The large volume means I can use it for a long time.
ConsThere are no clear drawbacks. Personally, I just wish the packaging with the dropper or circular part where you press down to dispense the product was a bit better. But it's still better than regular toners (where the product just comes out when you open the lid) as it's more like a serum where you have to press down firmly to get the product out.
TipApplying the Cooling Skin Boost Serum to refine the skin texture, then layering Aloe Vera and saturating a cotton pad with the Cooling Skin Boost Serum to gently press onto the skin is excellent for soothing the skin and making it supple.

Although it was said to be dry and irritating, I really liked it even though I have sensitive, dry skin. It's moisturizing, reduces skin unevenness, and feels gentle and subtly cooling without any irritation! I'm really happy with it, and when I use it as a first serum and follow up with cleansing, my skin's moisture is quickly replenished and doesn't easily evaporate (of course, I also apply a cream and an additional serum). And the serum being between a water toner and a regular serum allows for very versatile use! 🧡Texture: It has a slightly more watery feel than a typical serum, but not as thin as a water toner 🧡Cooling: (Not a chemical cooling sensation) While it doesn't have a strong cooling effect like other skincare, there is a pleasant cooling sensation as the moisture is absorbed 🧡Skin type: Strongly recommended for oily/combination skin, and suitable for dry skin from now on (not sure about winter yet, but it doesn't seem to be drying with the cleansing step) 🧡Scent: Almost unscented (my sense of smell is a bit dull) 🧡Effects after application: Redness subsides, heat sensation decreases, dryness is relieved, skin condition is good the next day, and it helps control flaking/peeling
ConsThere were no particular shortcomings. I really liked it, so I think I'll buy it again.
TipIf you're worried that it might be dry or irritating, I'm afraid I need to cleanse my skin, so I need to exfoliate. If that's the case, I'll first apply an absorbent toner to my face and let it absorb, then use a cotton pad to gently exfoliate, and finally apply a serum with a thicker consistency. This will help replenish the moisture between the toner and serum!

[Skin Type] -Combination skin +Sensitive skin -Skin concerns: Dehydration, Blackheads, Pores [User Review ✍] ☆Texture Water-based ☆Fragrance Fragrance-free ☆Moisturization Suitable moisturization for oily skin [Pros/Cons] 😀It is a non-irritating cooling booster serum that is easy to use. When I used the same line's Post Alpha Cooling Pad, the pad had an excessive cooling sensation that felt irritating on my face. For sensitive skin, the Alpha Cooling Pad seemed too stimulating, but this serum seems to be a complementary product to address that issue. Though the serum lacks the cooling sensation, it is a suitable booster serum to use as the first step in a skincare routine for those who found the Alpha Cooling Pad too irritating.
ConsThe cooling sensation may be lacking. Compared to using the Alpha Cooling Pad, the Booster Serum had a significantly reduced cooling sensation. The serum provided a subtle, barely perceptible cooling sensation, which was disappointing.
TipThe Hwahae Testers recommend this for those who wanted a less irritating cooling sensation than the Cellpion Alpha Cooling Pad. We also recommend this as an unassuming skin booster serum for those looking for one.

ConsThere are no disappointing aspects, but I'm not sure about the pore elasticity effect^^ Pore home care with retinol or air shots is the best!
TipIt is better to store and use it in the refrigerator.

The application is smooth and soft. It has a nice cooling sensation, not too strong, so it's good for daily use without irritation. If you have flushed skin during summer skincare, I recommend trying this. And lately, my skin has been feeling quite dehydrated, almost like it's turned dry, but using this product, the dryness is gone, and my makeup applies well, and it pairs nicely with the other skincare products I use afterwards. I really enjoyed it.
ConsI wish I had a bit more cooling sensation. Since I tend to have a lot of heat in my skin, it was good to use it without any issues.
TipPump the Hwahae about 5 times on the cotton pad, then wipe your bare face clean. Proceed with your usual basic skincare routine, and then apply your base makeup products - your skin will look like a fried egg!

When I applied it after exercising, it had a cooling effect and the flushed feeling subsided a bit. The pump packaging was convenient to use, as I didn't have to open and close the container. Even though I have combination skin, there were no breakouts or irritation from the ingredients. When I layered the toner several times before makeup, it kept my skin moisturized for a long time and gave me a smooth, flawless complexion. While it didn't dramatically reduce the appearance of my pores, I did notice my pores looking less enlarged after using it for 2 weeks.
ConsThe formula was a fluid, water-like formula, so when I pumped it and used it, it flowed down, and it was more convenient to use it by applying it to cotton rather than using it with my hands. The pore-minimizing effect was negligible, and they said there would be a cooling effect, but when I applied it, there was a slight cooling sensation, though it was not as refreshing as I had expected.
TipIn the summer, if you put it in the refrigerator and use it covered in cotton, the cooling effect is much more immediate.
