It feels substantial without being overly sticky or thick, making it comfortable for everyday use. Application and Finish: This serum absorbs well into the skin, leaving no residue behind. While it's not overly sticky or thick, it provides a fresh finish that keeps your skin hydrated for hours. Skin Condition and Effects After Use: This ampoule is so effective at alleviating deep dryness that you could use it alone without layering. I keep it in my bathroom to apply right after showering or cleansing. Not only does it provide long-lasting hydration, but it also seems to enhance the absorption of subsequent products. I typically struggle with redness due to skin sensitivity, which gives my complexion a dark, flushed appearance. The Cell Fusion C Cooling Skin Booster Serum amazingly calmed my redness. After using it for about a week, I was thrilled to see my skin maintain a bright, pink-toned complexion instead of the usual redness. Irritation Level: I didn't experience any blemishes, tingling, or redness while using this product, so I felt confident using it regularly.
ConsThe low viscosity means it can run off your hands easily. Be careful when applying!

In reality, it's essentially the very first step, like a toner. It's not quite a watery formula, but it's not slimy either. It's slightly thinner than even the more fluid famous serums/ampoules out there. Perhaps because of this, you can layer it multiple times without feeling heavy, and it feels like pure hydration is being absorbed into the skin. It's incredibly lightweight and refreshing. I apply it alternating between four times on my face and three times on my neck, patting it in well for absorption. Apart from one or two minor blemishes (likely hormonal), there was absolutely no burning or tingling sensation that usually appears quickly when a product doesn't suit my skin. Since I started using this, assuming I apply enough and let it absorb properly, there have been many days where I don't feel any dryness even after 20 hours. I've definitely noticed an improvement in my overall skin texture too. I'm also using niacinamide and madecassoside serums, as well as a hyaluronic acid serum, but I think having such a good first step in my skincare routine has made a huge difference.
ConsThe price is quite steep at around $20 for 150ml. Even though it was developed by an influential beauty YouTuber and performs well, at this price point, I wouldn't repurchase it regularly. It's just too expensive... Despite having 'cooling' in its name, there's absolutely no cooling effect. Sure, if you kept it in the fridge and applied it right away it would be cooling, but is that really worthy of boldly including it in the product name? For dry skin, one or two layers aren't enough - you definitely need to layer it at least 3 times. With watery skin products like this, more is definitely better.

When applied, it feels cool and absorbs quickly without any stickiness, leaving the skin feeling fresh.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, but I feel it might be slightly lacking in hydration.
TipI think it works well when you layer it multiple times.

Since I have oily skin, I diligently use BHA, but I also need to ensure proper hydration. I prefer products that leave a fresh yet moisturizing finish. Firstly, although it's called a serum, it has a thinner consistency similar to a toner. Because of this, it seems to provide definite hydration, but there were a few aspects that left me wanting more. This product might be great for those who enjoy lightweight formulas and whose skin responds well to hyaluronic acid.
ConsI was excited to try the CellFusion C cooling pack and had high hopes for this booster, but honestly, I didn't really feel the cooling effect. It might be because it's not summer yet, but I felt more of a cooling sensation when using Stridex pads. Also, since my skin doesn't respond well to hyaluronic acid, I experienced some itching after using this product. Ultimately, I developed contact dermatitis after using this. If you don't tolerate hyaluronic acid well, please avoid this product. Conclusion: While it provided good hydration, the cooling effect was underwhelming. Not recommended for those who don't tolerate hyaluronic acid well.

It turned out to be amazing! Though it's called a serum, you can think of it as a skin toner. The cooling effect is just right for reducing skin heat without being uncomfortably cold or overwhelming. It finishes with a fresh feel due to its oil-free formula, and I didn't experience any dryness. I'd describe the finish as refreshingly hydrated. My first impression was - for those familiar with COSRX's 6 Peptide Skin Booster, it's like that product with an added cooling effect! It works well when layered thinly multiple times. I especially loved how it enhanced the absorption of subsequent skincare products, so I often applied it between other skincare steps. When applied thinly right before makeup, it made my base adhere perfectly, probably thanks to the cooling effect. Despite not feeling slippery on the hands at all, this product doesn't cause any deep dryness when applied. It feels like a lightweight yet robust formulation. If I had to pick the best thing about it, I'm extremely satisfied that this serum has significantly reduced my redness recently.
ConsI think it would be even better if the cooling effect was slightly stronger. Then it might completely eliminate redness... Oh, is this actually a positive point rather than a negative one?
TipAfter quickly wiping your face with a pad, make sure to apply this product first on your face. This seems to improve absorption and helps prevent pilling even when you apply multiple layers on top. Also, if you apply it right before makeup, your makeup will adhere even better.

When my skin feels overheated, applying this provides immediate soothing and deep hydration - I love it so much! 💙 Instantly cools skin temperature by -5.6°C 💙 Packed with soothing ingredients, suitable even for sensitive skin 💙 Non-sticky, refreshing moisture
ConsThe Hwahae was great for calming redness, and there were no particular downsides.

It helps the skin absorb the product, and when applied, the makeup adheres well. It also has a lightweight, cooling sensation, so I think it would be great to use in the summer!
ConsThose with dry skin should absolutely avoid this product. The moisture it provides is only slightly replenishing, so using it alone would leave the skin quite dehydrated.

It's a skin booster to use right after cleansing. The pump format makes it easy to apply quickly after washing. The texture is surprisingly refreshing and oil-free. There's no stickiness, and it absorbs quickly without leaving a film, so it doesn't interfere with the next skincare steps. Even at room temperature, it has a noticeable cooling effect that helps lower skin temperature. It provides a burst of hydration, so it works well as a quick hydrating toner or under a moisturizer. It's helpful for minimizing my skincare routine. As a dehydrated skin type, this suits me perfectly. I'm looking forward to using it chilled in the summer for an even more intense cooling sensation. I found it to be almost fragrance-free, which I prefer. The generous volume is also great.
ConsSo far, there are no disappointments! I'm just as pleased with the serum formulation.
