I hope this review will be helpful to many readers! Packaging: The plastic bottle is quite sturdy and doesn't flex much. For 150ml, it has a bit of heft to it. At first glance, I thought it was glass! I've included a size comparison photo. The packaging really emphasizes the cooling effect. Texture: When you shake the bottle, it seems to have some viscosity, but it's actually very watery like a liquid toner. The color is just clear. It absorbs faster than a typical water-based toner, and there's no stickiness or pilling, making it comfortable to use. The product description claims an 'instant cooling effect, -5.4°C reduction,' but I was surprised to feel almost no cooling when applying it once after cleansing. You can feel a slight cooling effect if you layer it 2-3 times or use it with other skincare products. Still, it's not -5°C... it's a very mild cooling sensation. I saw a YouTuber mention it was developed for a mild cooling effect... so what's with the '-5.4°C' claim in the product details? Scent: There's an extremely subtle mint-like fragrance. It's so faint that even those sensitive to scents like me should be able to use it comfortably. Unless you have a super-sensitive nose, it's practically unscented. Effects: It claims to improve pores, elasticity, brightening, and wrinkles. I didn't use other products with overlapping effects except for brightening. I used it as the first step in my skincare routine as directed. After 1 week: I used it whenever I felt deep dryness, as some reviews mentioned it helps with that. It definitely seems to alleviate deep dryness when layered. I focused on my T-zone where I have pore concerns, and I feel like I'm getting fewer blackheads? It might be my imagination though. I haven't noticed other effects yet, but I'll keep using it. However, the cooling effect is really not as strong as I expected. After 2 weeks: Apart from providing hydration, I haven't noticed any dramatic skin improvements. I'm not sure about pores or elasticity... But two weeks is a short time for product testing. My complexion might have brightened slightly, but I can't say for sure if it's due to this product. Overall: 5/10. I found it to be an average product with no major disappointments or standout features. I'll continue using it as the first step in my skincare routine, but I won't repurchase it with my own money once it's finished.
ConsIt's disappointing that a product emphasizing its cooling effect actually has such a mild cooling sensation when used...

In my 20s, I had extremely oily skin (plus acne), but entering my 30s, oil production decreased, and now I have combination dehydrated skin. Back then, I didn't feel much tightness even if I didn't rush to apply skincare after cleansing. Now, if I don't apply something after washing my face, it feels tight and like my skin barrier is crumbling. That's why this is perfect as a skin booster. Applying serum directly to bare skin now requires too much product! So, I often use toners or pads as the first skincare step, but watery serums are too liquid-like (I use those with cotton pads for daily dead skin cell removal...), and thicker toners make it feel like subsequent hydrating serums don't absorb well. This has just the right consistency in between, making 'skin booster' the perfect description! They really nailed the texture. Since I use cleansing water, I don't often use pads for evening skincare, so I especially love this type of formula. Among runny toners, this is the most water-like? The 150ml pump bottle is great too! I love that it's not one of those bottles you have to shake vigorously to get the product out~
ConsIt's labeled as 'Cooling!', so I expected a cooling effect similar to the same company's cooling pads or cooling sheet masks (both are amazing in summer...), but it's not quite to that level. It's more like a cool hydrating sensation?
TipIt doesn't pill even when layered multiple times. I think it would be great to keep it in the fridge during summer and apply several layers to reduce heat and feel refreshed!

As a skin booster serum, it was perfect for the first step of my skincare routine, gently opening up the hydration pathways. It also paired well with any type of ampoule I used afterward, regardless of the variety. And this might seem minor, but the pump dispenser made it super convenient to spray directly onto my face. I'm already enjoying it, but I have a feeling it's going to be my go-to product as the weather heats up this summer!
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I'm satisfied with this product as it hasn't caused any blemishes or skin reactions. However, for those expecting an intense cooling sensation, the cooling effect might be a bit underwhelming.
TipWhen your skin feels hot, spritz this generously all over your face for a soothing effect. It works wonders as a calming treatment. Using it as your first essence leaves your skin incredibly hydrated!

Absorption: It has a water-like serum texture and absorbs extremely well! Moisturizing power: Very hydrating, leaving the skin feeling moist with excellent moisturizing effects. Blemishes: None at all, and it's gentle on the skin. Overall, it's a hydrating serum formula that absorbs well and doesn't cause irritation, making it suitable for everyday use.
ConsI'm not sure how strong the cooling effect is. It's a pump-type product, but it drips down every time I press it. I have to use it by pumping directly onto my face.

However, due to skin barrier issues, this product is currently sealed away in my closet. It's truly water-like, making it perfect for the first step of your routine. Layering this multiple times and just adding sunscreen on top gives your skin an incredible glow.
ConsI bought this hoping to reduce redness, but as other reviews unanimously mention, there's no cooling effect. I couldn't feel any at all. Also, the formula is too runny, making it incompatible with a pump bottle. And it's not exactly water-like in feel - it's slightly slippery and a bit sticky, which I'm not a fan of. Perhaps due to the menthol derivative and DPG, it even caused some skin redness. For those with truly sensitive skin, be careful with DPG especially. Make sure to check the ingredients.
TipIf you want a cooling effect, try storing it in the refrigerator. I've also read that transferring it to an empty mist bottle allows for a more even application.

For my morning skincare routine, it provides sufficient hydration. - There's no stickiness, and layering it multiple times works well for combating deep dryness. - Although it's called a cooling serum, I was worried about menthol or alcohol content, but there was no such sensation. I didn't notice any significant cooling effect beyond the natural coolness of the texture. This might actually be better for super sensitive skin due to its lack of irritation. - After my morning cleanse, I just pump this product 3-4 times, pat it in to absorb, then apply sunscreen and foundation right away.
ConsFor a cooling serum, I barely felt any cooling effect. To notice any pore care benefits, I think I'll need to use it for a longer period.
TipIf you're looking for a more pronounced cooling effect, I recommend storing it in the refrigerator before use.

It seems like combination dehydrated or oily skin types would be more satisfied with this product than those with dry skin.
ConsI didn't particularly notice any cooling effect, so it didn't feel like it had a standout feature unique to Cellfusion C. Also, given its water-like consistency, I think it might have been better to release it in a mist format to reduce the inconvenience of it slipping through your fingers!
TipYou can really feel the synergistic effect if you layer it 3-4 times both morning and night right after cleansing, or if you apply and let it absorb before using a modeling mask, aloe mask, or other types of face masks.

In reality, it's essentially the very first step, like a toner. It's not quite a watery formula, but it's not slimy either. It's slightly thinner than even the more fluid famous serums/ampoules out there. Perhaps because of this, you can layer it multiple times without feeling heavy, and it feels like pure hydration is being absorbed into the skin. It's incredibly lightweight and refreshing. I apply it alternating between four times on my face and three times on my neck, patting it in well for absorption. Apart from one or two minor blemishes (likely hormonal), there was absolutely no burning or tingling sensation that usually appears quickly when a product doesn't suit my skin. Since I started using this, assuming I apply enough and let it absorb properly, there have been many days where I don't feel any dryness even after 20 hours. I've definitely noticed an improvement in my overall skin texture too. I'm also using niacinamide and madecassoside serums, as well as a hyaluronic acid serum, but I think having such a good first step in my skincare routine has made a huge difference.
ConsThe price is quite steep at around $20 for 150ml. Even though it was developed by an influential beauty YouTuber and performs well, at this price point, I wouldn't repurchase it regularly. It's just too expensive... Despite having 'cooling' in its name, there's absolutely no cooling effect. Sure, if you kept it in the fridge and applied it right away it would be cooling, but is that really worthy of boldly including it in the product name? For dry skin, one or two layers aren't enough - you definitely need to layer it at least 3 times. With watery skin products like this, more is definitely better.

There's no scent, so it's almost like you're applying pure water. This would be perfect for those with super sensitive skin to use liberally without any irritation. It's the first time I've seen such a water-like formula in a pump bottle, and it's surprisingly convenient!
ConsThe disappointing part was that I couldn't really feel much of a cooling effect. I expected it to be hydrating since it's called a serum, but it feels more like a toner. You'll definitely need to use this in combination with other serums and creams.
TipThe easy-to-control dispensing makes it great to use as an exfoliating toner! If you wipe it once and then pump a bit more to absorb all over, it leaves your skin feeling fresh and hydrated!

It's as fluid as a toner, but after applying, my skin feels firm and soft. The important thing is that even with just one application, my skin doesn't feel dry underneath (based on normal skin type). And when you layer other products on top, they absorb incredibly fast. It's like when you sprinkle water on cornstarch - it quickly absorbs the moisture and becomes slightly tacky, you know? (In a good way!) When doing skincare, people say you shouldn't apply more products if there's still a slippery texture left, as it can cause blemishes. They say products should absorb well and as residue dries, your face should become slightly sticky for the next product to be properly absorbed. This product boosts that process. Compared to my usual toner, I can really feel the difference in absorption speed when I apply the same hydrating serum. You don't need to massage or pat for long until the slippery feeling disappears. I used to think my serum was slow to absorb, but with this product, it just clings to my skin. It's like... a primer for skincare, if you will? I thought it was just a first essence or toner since it's meant to be used in the first step, but it truly lives up to its name as a boosting serum. I think it'll be especially useful in summer when you don't want to spend time applying and patting in various products. I haven't tried other boosting products so I can't compare, but I'm satisfied!
ConsI'm not sure about the cooling effect. It stings a bit if it gets in your eyes.
TipIt works great with products that have good hydration like hyaluronic acid but are slippery and slow to absorb. It's the perfect combination to offset the drawbacks and enhance the benefits.
