I'm glad I used this as a sample instead of buying the full-size product. I might have had high expectations, but I didn't notice any significant results. I didn't feel like it reduced my blackheads at all, and I don't think it's particularly affordable either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinAug 27, 2020
I can't really think of anything particularly positive to say about this product. The hydration is so poor it might as well be water. - wh*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 29, 2020
I really loved using this during my military service. I wonder when it'll be renewed? It actually helped manage my pores effectively. The quantity was too small. It's expensive. They didn't sell it in the military - please stock it in the PX! Apply it using a cotton pad - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJul 22, 2019
I love how it leaves my skin feeling thoroughly cleansed. I've been using it for years now and it's still a staple in my routine. I mainly use it as a second cleanse after washing my face, so it's hard to find any real drawbacks. However, if you're looking for something with a bit of hydration, this might not be the best fit for you. - gm**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 27, 2019
The only positive thing I can say is that it has almost no potentially irritating ingredients. True to its name as a 'pore toner', it sucks out all the moisture from your sebum. Unfortunately, it takes your skin's hydration along with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 25, 2019
It claims to control sebum, and I think it does help a bit in that regard. It feels a bit drying and tight on my skin. I'll need to buy something else to use with this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 29, 2019
The absorption is pretty good for a cleansing product, and it's above average. It absorbs well, and it's great for using as a mask occasionally by soaking it into a 5-layer cotton pad. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I didn't find any downsides. You can use it as a mask by soaking a 5-layer cotton pad, separating each layer, and applying them to your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin in order. Alternatively, you can cleanse multiple times to finish, which seems to help the hydration last a bit longer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 20, 2018
It felt like it was drawing out all the sebum and excess oil. My skin's oiliness completely disappeared! As you might expect, it did leave my skin feeling a bit dry. - lg*****Combination SkinAcne SkinDec 3, 2017
The Innisfree Volcanic Pore Toner has a water-like consistency. When you soak a cotton pad with it and apply it to your face, it gives a wonderfully refreshing sensation. Unlike other toners, it doesn't feel sticky at all and leaves your skin feeling invigorated. As someone with oily skin, I'd recommend this more for oily complexions rather than dry ones. While the toner feels cool on the skin, it can also give a slightly dehydrating sensation. That's why I wouldn't recommend it for those with dry skin. Also, the price point isn't particularly budget-friendly, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 25, 2017
I've been using this consistently since high school, and it's the best toner for managing dead skin cells. When used together with the volcanic scoria foam cleanser, you don't even need separate exfoliation. My skin feels so soft! Sometimes I get bored and try other products, but I always come back to this one. I'm not really sure... (rose-colored glasses)
